Nux grinned.
He had finally done it.
Clearing the Trial that so many failed to, even so people from the Supre Worlds had failed before.
'I guess the Supre Worlds aren't as special as they think they are, huh…'
Nux sighed like a disappointed Asian father.
'To think they couldn't clear the first trial, it wasn't even that difficult. I cleared it without many difficulties.'
He muttered as he rotated his body again, once again reversing the flow of ti inside his body as he continued to swim, getting closer and closer to the end.
Yes, it was indeed very easy.
Nux nodded to himself, confident.
A mistake.
Nux had raised a flag, a shaful feat considering that he, out of all people, knew how dangerous flags were.
But honestly, he couldn't be blad either.
The poor man had knowledge of multiple worlds in his head, one couldn't find faults with him for forgetting his roots and culture for a mont.
Of course, his blunder wouldn't go unpunished.
The River, as if knowing exactly what he was thinking, made a move.

Nux's expression changed as he sensed sothing.
Right now, the left side of his body had beco younger, so much that he was about to rotate any second now, but suddenly, his attention was attracted by sothing else.
A tremor.
The water he was swimming in suddenly trembled.
It wasn't a simple ripple, but a deep, unnatural shudder, like the ocean itself had tensed. Nux's frown deepened.
This… wasn't normal.
He montarily paused and looked around. For the first few mini seconds, he saw nothing,
But then…
On the horizon, he saw it—a dark line.
'Fuck…'
He cursed.
The line grew taller, wider, rushing toward him with terrifying speed.
Yes, it was a wave, and it was huge. It was like a wall, a mountain of water, and the closer it got, the more Nux realized how fucked he actually was.

He gulped, finally realizing his mistake.
He tried to move and outrun the wave, but…
This task was difficult even when his body was at its best. After all, in this place, he was only a mortal.
And adding his disproportionate body into the factor, it was pretty much impossible to get away.

Nux cursed and tried anyway.
And just as he expected, he failed.
He couldn't even move a ter away before the giant wave was right above him. He looked back, staring at the wave. This ti, it looked much larger than before. He couldn't even see the end of it as he looked up.
And finally, the wave engulfed, then it crashed down.
The water slamd down on his helpless body. He tried moving, thrashing, or resisting, but his disproportionate body made it impossible to do anything.
As his body twisted and turned inside the river, now, for so reason, it wasn't his right and left body that was being affected, it was his upper and lower body.
Yes, his upper body was now growing older, while his lower body had started becoming younger.
What's worse?
His body had still not stopped absorbing the water, so now the right-left water was entering his body from every possible side, and it had made a ss out of his body even further.
As his body twisted and turned inside the river, now, for so reason, it wasn't his right and left body that was being affected, it was his upper and lower body.
Yes, his upper body was now growing older, while his lower body had started becoming younger.
And just when he got used to it, things reversed. Now, his lower body grew, while the upper beca younger. Then once again, the changes started happening in the right and left sides of his body, before it returned to upper and lower again.
The cycle continued. His body beca ssier and ssier. Almost every single part of his body was stuck in a different age and the worst part?
The water was still pushing him down.
It was over.
He was swallowed. So of his body parts were close to disintegrating out of existence, so were about to die of old age.
The only reason he was even alive till now was that every ti a part of his body was about to perish, fortunately, the waves turned him away and the aging reversed, helping him survive.
Yes, Nux was that helpless. He could only rely on his luck, and even that was running thin now since his body was constantly being 'divided' into more and more 'parts', with each part aging differently.
Even luck couldn't help him with this. No matter what position his body was in, it didn't matter, since one part of his body would age or disintegrate.
In the end, Nux closed his eyes and gave up.
His mind had already started thinking about ways to clear the trial once everything reset.
Yes, according to the records he read, one never dies during these trials. The trials are usually reset, giving the Trial Taker a chance to take the trial again, just that most of the ti, it creates a situation so helpless that the Trial Taker doesn't even bother trying it again.
Just like right now, Nux's mind raced to its limit, yet he failed to co up with a way. How was he even supposed to do anything when he was no different than a mortal?
No matter how he thought about it, clearing the trial seed… impossible.

Slowly, Nux's body was pushed back to the edge, from where he had begun. Once he returned to the sand, his body, which was divided into parts, started returning to its normal state.
The sand seed to have so sort of healing power in it.
Within 5 minutes, Nux returned to his peak condition and finally stood up. Once again, he stared at the river-cum-ocean in front of him and sighed.
Even now, he still couldn't co up with a way to clear the trial.
Soon, however, his expression changed as he noticed sothing.
His body…
There seed to be a different form of energy flowing through his body.
He tried to move this energy, and suddenly, water ca out of his palm, and his palm started aging up.
He sohow controlled the water as it returned to his body, and once again, his arm returned to normal.

He now seed to have the power of water that his body had absorbed all this while.
