Chapter 2036: Nux’s Weakness.
While Varys passed his Queen’s orders and made the necessary preparations, Sharnoth, who had returned to her mansion and walked into her room, suddenly paused and,
“Your son is becoming a nuisance.”
She comnted.
To any normal person, it would look like she was talking to herself since there was no one around her. However, if they stared at her closely, they would realize that Sharnoth was looking in a particular direction, as if she was talking to soone.
“My relationship with him wasn’t always the best.”
The being she was talking to replied.
“I can see that.”
Sharnoth snorted.
“I do not need your confirmation on the matter, I need a solution.”
“Do you not have a solution already?”
Zylarith questioned with a slight frown on his face.
“That won’t work.”
Sharnoth shook her head.
“It is rely a desperate attempt to calm my people.
A farce.
A show to tell them that their Queen has not abandoned them, but it will not change anything. Your son is no fool.
He captured my Transcendents in our first encounter. You think he is scared of Primordial Level subordinates I send into Lowest and Low Level Worlds?”
“…I did not think he would grow to such an annoying level when I first t him.”
Zylarith admitted.
“He was barely a Protector when he was about a thousand years old.”
“That’s slow.”
Sharnoth comnted.
“Indeed.”
Zylarith nodded.
“How did he beco a Transcendent then?”
Sharnoth did not understand. A thousand-year-old Protector, a being with potential like that, would never be able to break through to the Transcendent Level through normal ans.
“This is why I still find it hard to believe that he is Transcendent.”
“He killed or abducted my Transcendent Level subordinates, and they weren’t weak, so he isn’t either.”
Sharnoth spoke in a solemn tone.
“This is what surprises so much.”
“Why?”
Sharnoth questioned directly.
It didn’t matter if that child was a Protector when he was a thousand years old, he is now a Transcendent and that is all that mattered.
Zylarith was never a being who dwelled in the past; Sharnoth did not understand why he was so fixated on this matter.
And Zylarith, who realized what his ‘disciple’ was thinking, decided to reveal the truth,
“I had an encounter with him about five thousand years ago.”
“And?”
Sharnoth raised her eyebrow.
“He defeated Transcendent Level rcenaries I sent after him.”
“What…?”
“Back then, I thought he had soone helping him, but…
Now that doesn’t seem to be the case.”
“But you said he was only 6–7000 years old… so 5000 years ago, he shouldn’t be more than two thousand years old…
And if he was only a Protector when he was a thousand years old then…
How did he beco a Transcendent… in the next thousand years…?”
“…”
Zylarith stayed silent, and that silence answered Sharnoth’s question.
Her crimson eyes instantly turned cold and,
“He has the Law of Absolute Growth, doesn’t he?”
She questioned directly.
“…”
Again, Zylarith stayed silent, and again, his silence answered the Queen’s question.
“So he was the one…”
She muttered; her voice was so chilly that it would send shivers down any of her subordinates’ spines if they were to hear it.
“…”
Zylarith continued his silence.
He couldn’t say anything.
Sharnoth stared at him for a while. A few seconds later, however, her frosty expression flickered and,
“Zylarith Chaosveil.”
The Queen called out.
“I do not care if he is your son.
I do not care if he betrayed you.
I do not care if you have any more use for that child,
I only understand that he stands in the way of my revenge, and I need you to help get rid of him.”
Zylarith stared at his disciple with a complicated look on his face and then,
“I want to get rid of him as well.”
He made up his mind.
All this while, he was still trying to sohow control Nux; after all, that child was his trump card.
However, a card that he couldn’t play when he wanted was not a good card.
Nux Leander was getting out of control. There were too many things about him that he could not explain. He was becoming more and more of a variable that he could not calculate, and the rate at which he was growing stronger did not make sense.
There was no pattern around him,
It was better to get rid of him.
“Give sothing.”
Sharnoth demanded.
“Anything.
Any weakness.
Tell everything about him, the world he cos from, the people he is close to. Give sothing to act on.
Sothing he wouldn’t be able to evade.”
“He cos from a world nad Yrniel.”
“Yrniel?”
Sharnoth narrowed her eyes. Soon, she took out a Call Artifact to pass down her orders, but,
“Do not bother.”
Zylarith shook his head.
Sharnoth glanced at him with a frown, and the Chaos Progenitor revealed,
“Yrniel does not exist anymore.”
“So which world is he anchored to now?”
“I… do not know.”
Zylarith shook his head.
“According to the reports I got, he has found a way to hide his Law Flow, so his Anchors cannot be found.”
“What…?”
Sharnoth’s expression changed.
Zylarith nodded,
“Even I do not understand how he did it.”
“…So what you are saying is that… he has no weaknesses?”
Sharnoth’s expression turned grim.
“No.”
Zylarith shook his head.
“Quite the contrary, he has one.
A very fatal one.”
“What is it?”
“His love for his wives.”
Sharnoth frowned at that.
“Love…?”
It was almost as if the concept was completely foreign to her.
“His love for his wives makes him do things no sane man would ever do. He foolishly considers those won to be his everything.
Capture any one of them and he will co to you himself.
You are then free to do anything you want with them.”
Zylarith grinned nacingly, and Sharnoth narrowed her eyes,
“If he loves them so foolishly, why would he ever let them go? Won’t he keep them hidden?”
“Do you not hear yourself?
He loves them foolishly, he does not hide them.
Trust ,
Capturing them wouldn’t be difficult if you follow my plan.”
“What plan?”
Sharnoth questioned, and Zylarith’s grin widened even further.
