"Attack."
Nux passed the order and in an instant, his Transcendent Level subordinates that were hiding in the selected rcenary Worlds moved instantly, appearing right in front of the rcenary Leaders of those worlds.
All these beings were connected to Nux’s Universe, so the respective World Wills could not sense them, making it easier for them to sneak in.
Of course, unlike Nux, his subordinates did not have Vulpiana’s Law of Tiless Veil that allowed them to hide in another tiline, so despite them doing their best in order to try and do this as silently as possible, the rcenary Leaders were still able to sense their presence eventually and put up so resistance to try and hold them off—
Or at least... that was what should have happened.
But even when the rcenary Leaders managed to sense their presence and react on ti, it didn’t make much of a difference.
The difference in strength between the assassins and the targets was simply too high. After all, Nux didn’t just do it all without a plan—he had subordinates in almost all the rcenary Worlds. It was one of the ways he could keep tabs on the Universe and understand what was happening and when it was happening.
These subordinates, having been completely overwritten by the Slave Seal, were active in these worlds for thousands of years. They knew exactly how strong the rcenary Leaders of a specific world were, and Nux used this information to plan the attack.
The rcenary Leaders of Low-Level rcenary Worlds were all Primordials. Against Transcendent Level assassins, they never had a chance.
As for the rcenary Leaders who were at the Transcendent Level, they were directly greeted by Nux’s wives.
Yes, Amaya, Astaria, lia, Felberta, Aeliana, and Vyriana—all these Transcendent Level monsters were on the move.
With their Absolute Laws, the opponents—who were rely normal Transcendents—didn’t stand a chance because their Domains were crushed in an instant, rendering them powerless.
This was not a war,
It was a one-sided massacre.
Most leaders couldn’t even complete one sentence before they were beheaded, and because these were crucial tis due to the Universe’s strong reaction and the Supre Worlds’ announcent, most leaders of a specific world were gathered in one place, making it even easier for the assassins.
All targeted leaders fell within 20 seconds of Nux giving the orders and with that—
"Devour."
Nux gave the order, and his other set of subordinates—the ones that weren’t part of his Universe and had been laying low in these rcenary Worlds all this while—started devouring these worlds.
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE
THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER
A total of fifty-six rcenary Worlds began to rumble and desperately called for help.
But these were rcenary Worlds; rcenaries had next to no sense of loyalty in them. Instead of doing anything, they instantly rushed out of the worlds instead.
Those who did try to stay and witnessed what was happening beca targets of the assassins, and very quickly, all fifty-six worlds were helplessly devoured by Nux’s slaves.
And of course, this ti, since the Universe did not react to any of this, the Supre Worlds had no clue what had just happened.
The worlds were erased out of existence, and so were the records in them.
Nux watched everything unfold in front of him in silence. Beside him stood Simba and Arshia, staring at the fifty-six screens in front of them with shocked looks on their faces.
"Y-You destroyed those worlds..."
Arshia comnted with a horrified look on her face.
"T-To do this just so you could hide your identity..."
Simba muttered, staring at Nux with a pale face.
Just what sort of monster had he encountered?
He... he had this sort of power all along...?
Just what force is behind him? It definitely wasn’t a Supre World, but he couldn’t think of any other force capable of pulling off sothing like this.
Of course, destroying a few rcenary Worlds wasn’t a big deal—any force from a High-Level World could have done that.
But the problem was,
This act went against a Supre World. No known High-Level World in their right mind would dare to act in such a way. After all, no matter how well the execution was,
It was an act done against the Supre Worlds. In one way or another, they will find out who was behind it, and once they do...
Things will not end well.
Simba knew that, and so did every being in the Universe.
The Supres just held that much power.
Then...
’Why would he go so far?’
Simba could not understand and frowned as he stared at Nux.
"You two will need to stay under my subordinates for a few days."
Nux instructed as he glanced at Arshia and Simba. His tone made sure that there was no room for negotiation.
The last thing he wanted was for the Supre Worlds to capture these two and learn everything that happened here.
Both Simba and Arshia didn’t say anything either. They could tell what Nux was thinking, and they knew they had no power here.
Nux and the faction behind him were simply too strong.
But this didn’t an they could stay silent—especially her—
"...Why are you doing this?"
Arshia questioned in a low voice.
"Hmm?"
Nux glanced at her and paused for a mont.
He knew the woman had so connections to the Supre Worlds. He hadn’t forgotten that being from the Supre World he had seen in the Umbrasol attack recording that Simba had showed him.
It seed like he belonged to the sa race as that of Arshia, so in one way or another, there was a connection between her and the Supre Worlds. As for the reason why she was working in a re rcenary Company, Nux did not know.
Honestly, he wanted to read her mories and learn everything about her,
But he knew not many people were comfortable with it, and in the end, Arshia did help him in so ways. He would rather not have her hate him without good reason.
Not to ntion...
Nux had a LOT of things to prepare right now.
After all, the plan still wasn’t over—rather, this was rely the beginning. The true ga had only just begun.
’Nux.’
And just as he was thinking about it, he heard a voice.
A light smile appeared on his face and,
’Did you find him?’
He questioned.
’Mhm.’
lia nodded. In her hands was one of the rcenary Leaders of the worlds they hadn’t targeted—a Primordial level being—unconscious.
She stared at him, disgusted.
’He was behind the disappearance of thousands of rcenaries. He sold males as slaves, raped the females, and once he was "bored" of them, he killed them.’
’Fits the description a little too well, huh.’
Nux comnted with a light smile.
Honestly, he knew he wasn’t any good. He knew he was a mass murderer; he had killed a ridiculously large number of beings for his own benefit, but in the end, his mind was still that of a hypocrite. Choosing a criminal for his sacrifice put his mind at ease much more compared to using an innocent being.
’Do I bring him?’
While Nux was thinking all this, lia questioned.
’No, I’ll co there.’
He answered as he then turned towards his two ’guests’ and with a flick of his finger, their minds were overwheld, and they lost consciousness.
His shadow then trembled as suddenly, Maeve, Sharnoth’s Nocthari subordinate, materialized.
"Take care of them."
He ordered. Maeve nodded as she grabbed the two of them and, with another flick, he sent them away.
Then Nux teleported himself right next to lia and the mont he appeared in this place, he noticed the room was covered in blood and lia was sitting on her throne with a large, human-sized blood capsule at the very corner of the room, as if the Vampire had placed the filth as far away from her as possible while still keeping it in sight.
Seeing this sight, Nux couldn’t hold back and laughed out loud,
"Why do you have to make this dramatic?"
He questioned with a big smile and lia, sitting on her Blood Throne,
"I need to look good in front of my husband."
She answered.
Nux could already imagine how the woman acted when he said he would be coming here. Once again, he laughed out loud as he walked towards her and fell on top of her.
lia, still sitting on her throne, caught him, placed his head on her breasts, and started gently ruffling his hair.
Nux’s hands moved as well, his fingers crawling underneath her gown and touching her bare back.
The two stayed like this until—
’We have work to do.’
Amaya spoke in a salty tone. Clearly, the Devourer didn’t like the Vampire hogging all the attention.
Actually, in her mind, she was cursing another Vampire.
It was all her fault!
Hearing her words, Nux laughed as he finally moved. lia too cursed the Devourer in her head, but then she waved her hand and the blood cocoon floated in front of them, revealing the rcenary Leader she had caught.
The Vampire and her husband stared at each other and nodded,
"Let’s do it."
