Sharnoth laughed like a maniac. Zarveth looked up at her, his face still seed calm; his body, however, was now tensed.
But Sharnoth simply did not care.
She dove again.
This ti, her body twisted into a spinning storm—blades, teeth, ink, feathers, everything, comprehensible and incomprehensible moved together.
BOOOOOM
Sharnoth smashed into him like a cot.
Zarveth raised a barrier as always, ready to block her attack, but—

The barrier cracked under the pressure.
Zarveth flew backward, crashing through a drifting asteroid made of frozen ti. The rock exploded into black-purple dust.
Zarveth stopped himself with a flick of his hand, floating back into control.
His breathing beca affected. Yes, he had taken damage after a long, long ti. What's worse?
This wasn't yet over.
Without giving him any ti to recover, Sharnoth spun in front of him, laughing wildly.
"Alright, Toy Lord!
Show all your toys!"
The woman's grin then widened even further and—
"So I can break every single one of them!"
"Understood."
Zarveth nodded softly. Even if he had taken damage, he didn't show anything. Plus, the relics on his body had already started working. The wounds would be healed within a few seconds—he just needed to deal with this chaotic energy that had seeped inside his body, making it difficult for him to move.
He raised two fingers.
His staff shined and another relic—an orb covered in glowing rings—appeared around him and flared with bright light.
Temporal Rewrite.
In an instant, the damage to his body vanished.
The blood disappeared.
The cuts closed.
Even his unstable relics stabilized.
It was like the last few seconds had never happened.
Sharnoth blinked.
"Cheating again?"
She asked.
"This is called being prepared,"
Zarveth replied.
But even when his body had healed completely, the pressure was building.
Sharnoth's partial domain continued to grow. Yes, the mad woman was putting in even more energy into this, almost as if she did not care about running out of energy at all. She was fighting as if she left the results to fate, an action that made no sense—especially in the eyes of soone like Zarveth, who calculated every possibility and only made a move when he was sure he would win.
Of course, even though he didn't agree with her thods, right now, he had to admit that he was being overwheld.
His relics needed structure to function—but the stronger Sharnoth's partial domain grew, the less 'structured' it beca.
It was too chaotic.
One mont they floated straight, the next they bent sideways or reversed. It wasn't just space or ti—every energy in this place made no sense at all.
It was pure madness.
And Sharnoth…?
She thrived in the madness.

She clapped her hands, and the asteroids behind her cracked like glass. Their energy exploded and ford sothing that looked like wormholes.
A portal to… nowhere?
And from these portals, they ca out.

"GRRIIRRR!!!"
Incomprehensible dark purple-black creatures, creatures that could not be explained. They weren't beasts, demons, or any known species.
They were just… ideas.
A hamr made of forgotten dreams.
A snake that bit logic and made spells fall apart.
A rain of glowing cubes that turned into music, then fire, then ice, then darkness.
And these were the most simple ones that could be described—the more… brutal-looking things were simply impossible to describe.
Even Zarveth was taken aback. Clearly, his years of experience weren't helping here. For now, however, he activated another relic—a spinning shield made of tal and light.
The creatures all rushed at him, and the shield blocked most of them.
But not all.
One creature slipped through and bit into his mind.
Zarveth flinched, his relics dimming for a second.
For the first ti in his entire life, he saw it.
Visions.
Visions that disturbed even his mind.
A Universe where he had lost.
A Universe where he had never been born.
A Universe where his relics turned on him.
His mind, which considered all the possibilities, started considering even these, and the more he thought about them, the more possibilities his mind started exploring on its own.
His strongest ability—his ability to think—had beco his weakness.
His body moved on its own, pushing the creature out and burning it into nothingness.
"KRRIIIISSSHHH!!!"
The creature screeched, but it couldn't hold on, and once it was gone, Zarveth finally heaved a sigh of relief, his mind returned to him—overloaded by all his thoughts.
For a mont, he felt it.

The woman clapped, spinning in joy as she laughed without stopping.
Yes, no traces of Sharnoth Nocthys, the Princess who rose Chains, could be seen from her. She seed like an entirely different person.
Heck, she didn't even attack Zarveth when she had the opportunity to because of how much fun she was having.

She laughed, spinning around him as the Chaos energy around her grew even further.
'Just how much energy does she have?'
Zarveth couldn't understand.
All this while, he had been on the defense, waiting for her to run out of energy, but…
He had been waiting for more than 15 minutes now!
By now, any normal Eternal would have run out of energy more than a few tis, considering the absurd amount of energy this woman was using.
The very Universe was being affected by the energy she was releasing!

It was already reaching the levels of Lowest-Level Worlds!
Even the Supre Born Eternals would be at their wits' end by now after sensing their energy reserves falling at such a ridiculous rate.

She didn't even look like she was getting started.
'Is she… trying to keep up her act?'
Zarveth wondered in his mind, staring at Sharnoth, but—
"Hahaha! Why did you stop!? Do you not want to play anymore!? Why don't you show more of your toys???

She asked a series of questions with continuous laughter, as if she didn't have the slightest care in the world about her energy reserves that should be running out.
"You seem quite confident in yourself."
Zarveth questioned.
Yes, the arrogant Eternal decided to have a conversation instead of just 'outright crushing his opponent and making it so that she would beg for death.'
He wanted to know whether the woman would talk or not.
If she did, it would an she didn't care about her energy reserves at all.
If she did not, it would an all of this was an act—a brave front.
Yes, it was a test to know and understand his opponent but—
"Confident? What does that an?"
Sharnoth just tilted, then a crazy smile appeared on her face and—

Sharnoth praised back with a laugh, unleashing another wave of attacks that overwheld the Eternity Born.
His body rolled mid-air, his clean robes were now damaged. His appearance was much different than when he first appeared.

He spoke.
"Yes, sure.
Strength indeed needs directions.
So I'll break your toys from ALL the directions!"
The woman laughed and suddenly—

Her body released even more energy of Chaos.

The Eternity Born had no clue what was happening.
Just where was all this energy coming from!?
How had she still not run out of it!?
He tried to think of different explanations, but… he did not have ti.
Sharnoth launched her body forward again, another series of overwhelming attacks began.
Zarveth was still holding strong—but even his strong defense was cracking, and as if she could feel that as well—
"Use better Toys, Toy King!!"
Sharnoth laughed as she increased the intensity of her 'plays.'
Her body twisted into a long spear made of spinning symbols and shot forward like a bolt of lightning.

Zarveth raised his blade, but the force of the strike sent him crashing through space. The impact of energy was so strong that the very space trembled.
Pieces of broken asteroids flew in every direction.
And in the silence of deep space, only Sharnoth's voice echoed:
"Co onnnn!
Playyyy!!!"
Zarveth floated in the distance, silent, surrounded by fragnts of burning stardust. The Chaos energy around him had beco ridiculously strong. His mind continued to think of theories that could explain her and predict just how much energy this woman had, but suddenly…
Sothing happened.

Another part of Sharnoth's skin on her forearm ca off, and once again, dense, black-purple energy of Chaos seeped out of it.
And once again,

The energy density around them increased even further, horrifying Zarveth to his core.
