Zylarith Chaosveil.

The na that once echoed throughout the Universe, that madness… that impossible legacy…

It was breathing again—in her.

"HAHAHA!"

Zarveth felt his very soul shake when he heard that laughter again.

More and more of Sharnoth's skin was coming off, releasing more and more Energy of Chaos, strengthening the partial domain she had created.

'So she is the one he chose, huh…'

Zarveth muttered inwardly, his left hand started to tremble.

Suddenly, all his questions were answered.

The source of Sharnoth's seemingly limitless energy—it was all clear now.

'She's not using her energy alone.'

He realized it as he looked at the purple-black glow bursting from under her skin. He could feel its connection with the space around them.

Yes, Sharnoth wasn't just using her own Energy of Chaos.

She…

She was using the Universe's Energy of Chaos. She was using the Authority of Chaos, just like the Supre Borns from Light, Darkness, and Balance.

Yes, Zarveth was no longer fighting any random Eternal. He was fighting an Eternal from the strongest Supre World, the Supre World of Chaos.

Not just that—the said Eternal's potential was sowhat comparable to the strongest being to ever exist in the history of the Universe.

In an instant, the situation flipped. Zarveth was no longer in the position to look down on Sharnoth. His gaze now beca much more solemn than before.

His mind, however, still couldn't comprehend this.

Most beings in the Universe did not know, but he, as one of the oldest beings in this Universe, knew that Zylarith's story hadn't ended with the destruction of the Supre World of Chaos.

The Chaos Progenitor was still alive.

And while those who knew this did not care about it because it is said that the Chaos Progenitor is too weak to do anything…

Sowhere in his heart, Zarveth found it foolish.

How could the strongest being to ever exist end up in such a state? According to him, it was foolish to underestimate him, and the Infinities should get rid of that monster entirely before it is too late.

Honestly, the reason he was first interested in Sharnoth was because she was using the Energy of Chaos. He knew she must have so connection with Zylarith. He just did not know the connection between them was so strong.

To think she inherited his Body of Chaos.

But…

'Why would Lord Zylarith choose… her?'

He wondered inwardly.

From the looks of it, the woman seed close to the Anomaly. No, she didn't just look close to him, she… she seed like she was his subordinate.

Why would the one who was chosen by Lord Zylarith be… soone else's subordinate?

Also, what is the connection between Lord Zylarith and the Anomaly?

Could it be that in all this ti, Lord Zylarith developed sothing even stronger than the Body of Chaos and passed it to the Anomaly?

Could it be… that the Anomaly is Lord Zylarith's true disciple and this woman is rely the Anomaly's guard?

'But to teach the Body of Chaos to a re bodyguard…

Does it no longer hold the sa importance?'

Zarveth wondered in his head.

He still did not know the powers the Anomaly had, but seeing how the very Universe reacts to it, he could tell that it was sothing much grander, even when compared to the Body of Chaos.

He could see how what the Anomaly has would be more important—sothing much stronger—but…

Zarveth couldn't believe the Body of Chaos was sothing that could be thrown away.

This woman—there was no way she was just a re subordinate.

'I need more answers.'

His hollow eyes shined, staring at Sharnoth desperately. The woman continued to smile. The Energy of Chaos around her continued to grow.

"You're looking pale, old man,"

She teased with a huge grin.

"Don't tell you're scared?"

Zarveth didn't reply.

He just prepared himself for the battle ahead. He could see it—Sharnoth's Body of Chaos was incomplete. It couldn't control the Energy of Chaos completely. She still needed to spend her own energy to do it.

So while the body still helped her control more energy than normal, there was still a limit to how much energy she could use. So eventually, she would run out of energy and fall. He just needed to hold on till then.

Honestly, Zarveth got lucky.

If he had t this woman any later, when she had completely inherited the Body of Chaos, this day would have been his last.

As long as the Body of Chaos wasn't complete, he could still win and get all the answers he wanted.

With a determined look on his face, he clenched his staff tightly, ready to end this battle.

Sharnoth floated in front of him upside down. The woman wasn't even panting, she was just smiling because of how much fun she was having.

The energy around her felt heavier now.

Her body shimred like glass filled with lightning. More pieces of her old skin peeled off—her arm, her thigh, her back. From beneath, a glowing body ford, shining like a black sun.

Zarveth's relics spun faster, preparing his attack, but Sharnoth was faster. The woman raised both her hands and—

"Boom."

She laughed as a tidal wave of Chaos energy exploded from her. It rolled across space like a living storm—colors and sounds no being could understand.

Zarveth summoned twenty relics at once.

A sphere of protection ford around him, barely holding against the ridiculous attack.

But Sharnoth wasn't done.

From inside the wave, she appeared again, her body half-transford, glowing with energy so dense it made Zarveth's relics flicker.

She raised a hand. A long lance of Chaos ford—black, purple, and silver, shimring with power.

"Co onnnn~~

Why did you stop talking!?

Don't tell you are tired already~~

Or are you really that scared~~

You aren't scared, are you???"

The woman questioned, tilting her head like an innocent demon toying with her prey.

Then—

She threw the lance.

Pierce

It tore through space. Zarveth's relics moved to protect him but…

BOOM

One of his strongest defensive relics, Tesseract Aegis, exploded in an instant, unable to take the unbearable amount of force any longer. The crack on Zarveth's armor widened, and the impact sent him flying.

His hand bled. Floating in silence, he took a breath, looking at his damaged hand and broken Tesseract Aegis with a surprised look on his face.

The rest of his relics floated around him—still loyal, but their energy was dwindling. They could no longer keep up.

Zarveth realized it as well.

He looked up and saw Sharnoth floating above him, spinning slowly, clapping as he blocked another one of her attacks, and soon, another similar spear appeared in her hand.

No…

It wasn't just one.

Whoosh Whoosh Whoosh

Ten more similar-looking spears appeared behind her as her crazed grin widened even further, her crimson eyes shining dangerously.

She was using the sa attack that shattered one of his strongest relics like it was nothing more than just so random spell she could use anyti she wanted.

There was no cooldown, no high energy requirents, nothing…

It was… effortless.

And when Zarveth realized it, he gulped.

He once again noticed the part of skin on her left leg coming out, releasing even more Energy of Chaos, and he realized it.

This woman…

Her energy wasn't running out.

She wasn't weakening.

No, it was the opposite.

She was evolving.

The more of her skin she lost, the stronger her connection to Chaos beca—the more 'complete' her Body of Chaos beca.

And the more… energy she had.

'She… She is building the Body of Chaos… during the battle!'

Zarveth's eyes widened in horror.

This… this couldn't happen!

If he didn't stop her before her transformation was complete, she would no longer need to use her own energy to manipulate the Universe's Chaos.

She would gain limitless power, making her unstoppable. The battle would be as good as over then!

He needed to end it right now!

Not in a few minutes, not when he found the perfect counter—

Now.

There was no other way.

After a long ti, he felt a sense of urgency, but then—

While Zarveth was thinking all this, suddenly, Sharnoth appeared behind him and—

"Booo~~"

"Aaaahhh!!"

She gave him a scare, looking right at him with her deep, horrifying crimson eyes. In an instant, the Eternity Born moved away.

"HAHAHA!!"

Sharnoth started laughing, holding her belly as if laughing so hard made her stomach ache.

"S-Stop this!! Are you t-trying to make laugh to death!? HAHAHA!!

The Supre Borns!!

Pffftt!"

The woman continued to laugh. Zarveth stared at her in silence, almost as if he was saying his last prayers in his head.

But then suddenly—

"You are strong.

You leave no other choice."

He spoke as he raised his hand, and from deep within the folds of space, a new, oddly perfect amount of light shined, and a set of six relics erged—each one larger, more detailed, more complete than any of the ones Zarveth used before.

They didn't look like weapons or tools. They looked like concepts—ideas carved into matter.

They floated around him slowly, humming with a quiet, ancient sound. And the instant Sharnoth saw them…

Her smile faded.

"…those aren't yours,"

She muttered. The energy these things released was completely different from the relics Zarveth used before.

And this ti—

Zarveth was the one who smiled.

"As I said,

You didn't leave any other choice."
