"Wait."

Suddenly, Light called out, instantly attracting everyone's attention. She then stared at Eternity and—

"Your mother…

She revealed the existence of a Law that Zylarith was working on—that was the reason we all ca together.

The Law of Absolute Growth.

What happened to it?"

Light questioned. Her words silenced Darkness, who was close to losing his temper.

The Law of Absolute Growth.

A power that was derived from Chaos's property of growing without limits, a power that the previous Eternity felt threatened by—to the point where she gave her life away just to look into the future and see how it would turn out.

And the result?

Absolute destruction.

'I saw our heads perched upon spears, displayed like re ornants that only glorified a throne and, on that throne, sat one man—Zylarith Chaosveil, the Ruler of the Universe, and the only being in the entirety of the Universe to reach a level beyond Infinity: the Level of Omnipotence.'

Those were the words she used before her death—words that forced the Infinities to co together to face a common enemy for the first and, to this date, last ti in the long history of the Universe.

But…

The Law that brought the Three Infinities together…

For sothing like this to not be talked about all this while…

For so reason, this made Light more wary.

"Zylarith is still alive, is he not? What if he has completed the Law of Absolute Growth? What if the Body of Chaos is not his strongest weapon? What if… it is the Law of Absolute Growth? And what if…

The one who has the Law of Absolute Growth is… the Anomaly?"

Light spoke, and the more she thought about it, the stronger this possibility beca in her mind.

"Think about it, a being like the Anomaly couldn't possibly have appeared out of nowhere. There has to be a reason behind everything. In our Universe, most things that went close to going against the Universe had Zylarith's hand behind them.

Umbrasol's Reaper's Veil was an example of it—Zylarith managed to create a combination of energies that sohow managed to create space that is outside the influence of the Universe, without having an Infinity on his side.

And this wasn't the only ti he did sothing like this. He was behind the Great Unmaking, the Soul Storm, Stillness Before the End—he was behind them all, and every single one of these things happened because he did sothing no one in the Universe ever did.

Every single one of these things happened because he tried going against the Universe's rules.

So what if…

What if this ti, he succeeded?

What if this ti he created an entity that even the very Universe fears?

What if… Zylarith is the Anomaly himself?"

Light spoke, and a heavy silence fell in the hall. Once again, her words made logical sense—well, there was not much to be made sense of here anyways; they were talking about a being who went against the rules set by the Universe—nothing about this should make any sense here.

All of this was…

"A theory,"

Eternity muttered.

"All of this is rely a theory, sothing you ca up with in your head. There is no proof behind it. As ntioned before, I am sure every single one of us has multiple such theories. If we began discussing everything one by one, that would be the only thing we would be able to do—discuss.

It is good to worry about things; it shows you do not foolishly believe that you are always in control and cannot be dethroned. It is a good mindset but…

Too much of it is called paranoia.

And too much of it is detrintal."

The Being of Eternity spoke in a calm voice, wanting to change the topic, but this ti, Light did not allow him to do that—

"It is a theory, yes, and it is a highly likely one.

Why does it seem like you are trying to avoid it?"

She questioned.

"I am simply trying to save our ti."

"Ti does not flow in this hall—we can discuss for millennia, and it wouldn't affect the outside Universe.

You were the one who made it that way."

Light countered.

"That does not an we are required to continue the discussion for millennia. Ceaselessly discussing re theories with no proof behind them is unproductive. I do not wish to waste my ti that way."

Eternity spoke directly.

"So what do you wish to do?"

Light questioned.

"What is your suggestion?

You do not want us to watch everything in silence and have fun, do you? Because if that is indeed the case,

Then it gives reason to believe that your goal might not be aligned with ours."

Light spoke, her voice lowering, but the threat in it wasn't hidden. It seed like she was accusing Eternity of siding with the enemy—a thought that the other two Infinites couldn't just deny outright.

Eternity's actions have been strange from the very beginning, but the way he seems to be trying to shut down Light felt like… he was trying to hide sothing.

"Pffft!"

Suddenly, Eternity laughed out loud, unable to control himself.

The white light that represented him flickered, almost as if it was having a hard ti maintaining itself because Eternity was not in control of his emotions. Soon, however, it stabilized, and once it did—

"My goal might not align with all of yours?

All of yours?"

He repeated those words; he didn't even try to hide his sarcasm.

"That statent of yours is only valid if all four of us had one common goal."

He spoke, this ti, his voice was louder than before.

"Are you still treating like the child I once was?

My goal is not aligned with yours?

Of course it is not!

It is not aligned with any of your goals! None of yours are!"

He shouted. Once again, the white light representing him flickered—but this ti, with much more intensity than before, almost as if it was prepared to overpower all other three lights and devour them.

"You—the Supre Being of Light—you want obedience through devotion.

The Supre Being of Darkness wants silence through fear.

The Supre Being of Balance wants order through rules.

And , the Supre Being of Eternity—I want victory through inevitability.

Which of these goals do you think are aligned?

Every single one of us wants the other three to perish. Isn't that the reason we went against Zylarith in the first place?

Because he was close to achieving the goal we desired for suuuch a looong ti.

Us coming together to attack him was us admitting that Zylarith Chaosveil was better than all of us.

We stopped him because we knew that if we did not, he would overpower us eventually. He would achieve what we failed to achieve for trillions of years."

Eternity spoke directly, then, the grin on his face widened and—

"Or is this perhaps what I think it is?

Is it finally my turn after Zylarith?

Is history going to repeat itself?

Do the three of you believe that I am better than you, hence you are coming together to get rid of ?

Because if it is, then let tell you one thing—I am not Zylarith Chaosveil.

I am not foolish enough to believe I alone will be able to take on three Infinities. So instead of fighting all of you together, I will give my very all to kill at least one of you.

As for who it will be—that will depend entirely on .

So think it through—you might be able to stop by banding together, but the one who will still have the power to make the final decision will be .

I will be the one who chooses who lives, who dies.

I will be the one who decides who amongst the four of us will be able to fulfill their trillions-of-years-long goal—or if any of us will be able to do it at all."

Eternity declared, and the light that represented him shined even brighter—at least until Darkness did not react.

But then—

"That is a lot of arrogance for soone who is still wet behind his ears."

Darkness grinned, and very quickly, the black light representing him instantly overpowered Eternity's light.

"Better than us? You? You are trillions of years too early.

What made you believe that the three of us have to co together to take down soone like you?

You give yourself too much credit for soone who hides behind little toys when it cos to direct battles.

I alone would be more than enough to devour a brat like you."

Darkness threatened.

Eternity, however, was not scared. Rather—

"Why don't you give it a try?"

He grinned again.

"And here I thought you were more of a less-words, more-action type of being."

This ti, however, Darkness did not fall for his provocation. After all, he may seem reckless, but in truth, he was a trillions-of-years-old monster. There was no way he would fall for such tricks—he had an answer.

"I would have, but before I say or do anything—I have one question.

You could have appeared next to Zarveth and caught the Anomaly yourself any mont you wanted,

Why did you not do it?"
