Faustina nodded, her words, however, made Nux frown.

Shadow was probably the only one who could act like this in front of Azriel. Well, the fact that she hadn't actually t him face to face must have had sothing to do with it as well.
Azriel ignored the woman and stared at Nux.

Nux answered ambiguously; he knew Azriel wasn't interested in details. He could see it on the man's face.

Azriel just nodded and then—

Hearing those words, Faustina did try to jump at Azriel, wanting to silence him, but the man waved his hand and appeared sowhere else, dodging the advance of a Primordial without any effort whatsoever—sothing that Nux didn't fail to notice.
