[Shouldn't you first talk about the reason you called in the first place? I thought it was quite urgent considering the way your mother ca to .]
"R-Right, let's do that first…"
Nux nodded with a light cough, not daring to look into Sharnoth's eyes.
The woman in question, however, had completely zoned out.
At first, although she was overwheld by Azriel's presence, it wasn't that big of a deal since she was literally raised by one of the strongest beings in the entirety of the Universe. Not to ntion, just like Shadow said, Azriel himself was in a completely different Universe; there was only so much he could do from that far away.
So yes, Sharnoth was overwheld, but it wasn't to the point of intimidation or her completely zoning out.
Things, however, changed when Azriel used the words "your mother." Sharnoth's ears perked up the instant she heard those words, even more so when she heard a woman's voice.
Because Azriel dodged Faustina's jump and moved away from her, Sharnoth wasn't able to see her face, but realizing that Nux's mother was on the other side of the screen and listening to their conversation, for so reason, made her extrely nervous.
It was sothing she couldn't understand. She had absolutely no idea why she was feeling the way she was, but sothing inside her scread at her, telling her to go look for a mirror and make sure she looked her very best.
All this ti, Sharnoth had been fighting the urge to disappear from the group. She had absolutely no idea how the conversation had continued after it.
[So what do you want?]
Azriel, too, ignored Nux's usual antics and quickly jumped to the main topic.
"I need an outsider's perspective. I didn't know who to contact, so I contacted you."
[An outsider's perspective?]
The Vampire raised his eyebrows.
"That is correct."
Nux nodded and Azriel waited for him to explain.
"Mother said the Universe reacted again and it seed angrier than before. Do you know why it happened?"
[You must have done sothing.]
Azriel was already used to the Universe's tantrums, so in his case, all these tantrums ca in one ear and went out the other.
"Of course I did sothing, but what? Why was the Universe angrier than normal?"
[Why are you asking ? Shouldn't you be the one telling that?]
"I… I do not completely understand it either."
Nux answered in an uncertain tone.
"This is why I needed an outsider's perspective; I do not completely understand how my Power works."
[That is an odd thing to say.]
Azriel comnted.
In the Universe where one had to comprehend the power before being able to use it, to say they do not understand the power they are using was indeed… odd.
But…
"It is not that simple, okay?
I have built an entirely different Universe here and have now sohow found a way to use its influence outside of… the said Universe."
Nux explained and Azriel very quickly narrowed his eyes. Not just him, even the rest of the won frowned, trying to understand what Nux just said.
In a way, it seed like a paradox, sothing that shouldn't be happening. Even Shadow was confused. After all, how could the Soul of the Universe understand sothing even the very Universe did not?
[Have you completed your Universe already?]
Azriel questioned, trying to understand everything from his perspective.
"Yes."
Nux answered his question.
[And you have broken through the Transcendent Stage?]
"Sothing like that."
Nux nodded again and, thinking that his answer wasn't enough, he began explaining,
"I no longer follow a normal Cultivation Bridge. As you know, I am a Universe, so my bridge is—"
[You do not have to explain it. I am not a Universe; I would not understand anyway.]
Azriel quickly shook his hand dismissively.
"…"
Nux turned silent and then—
[This Power you just ntioned, a way to use your Universe's influence outside of… your Universe, is this sothing similar to your Domain?]
Azriel questioned and in an instant, Nux's eyes brightened up.
"Yes, exactly that! I knew you would understand!"
[So what outside perspective do you need for your Domain?]
Azriel asked directly, completely ignoring Nux's sudden outburst.
"I need to understand what kind of influence my Domain has in the Main Universe."
Nux began, looking into Azriel's eyes with a serious look on his face.
"My Domain is sothing like an extension of my Universe; it allows to exert my influence to its fullest extent, just as I do when I am inside my Universe, despite not being inside my Universe."
[So your Domain allows you to be as strong as you are in your own Universe, without being inside your own Influence.]
"That is correct."
Nux nodded.
[That is quite a powerful Domain.]
Azriel nodded. He had heard about Nux's situation. He had heard how almost all of his strength was suppressed because he was no longer part of the Main Universe, so if his Domain nullifies that effect, then Azriel was looking forward to seeing how strong Nux actually was.
"It is."
Nux nodded at those words. His Domain allowed him to defeat two of the strongest Eternals in the Universe, so of course it was strong.
Just that—
"I just do not understand what my Domain actually is.
I say it is an extension of my Universe, but it isn't exactly my Universe either. If anything, it would be closer to an… extrely similar copy of a part of my Universe."
Nux tried to explain everything in words, which was extrely difficult since he knew not many here would be able to understand him, but he had no other choice.
He didn't have any other Universes to talk to.
"Basically, I do not know what my Domain is.
Is it a part of my Universe? Or is it still a part of the Main Universe but has beco sothing I altered to how I want it to be?
This is what I want to know."
[And why do you want to know this? And why so urgently that you had to call ?]
The Vampire then narrowed his eyes and—
[What are you thinking, Nux Leander?]
He questioned and Nux—
"I plan to slap the faces of the Infinities, the so-called Masters of the Universe."
He grinned.
