"So… are you going to make us all… disappear? What will happen to us when you do…?"
The Greenmarch Progenitor questioned, his voice cracking in uncertainty and fear.
And Shadow—
"You have already disappeared."
She just smiled, instantly defusing all the thoughts inside Ravana's head.
"What…?"
The Greenmarch Progenitor did not know how to react.
Shadow understood that, so in order to skip so explanations, she waved her hand and suddenly, fourteen beings that Ravana recognized instantly appeared in front of her.
"Y-You… all of you…"
He stuttered.
Unable to believe that the fourteen Eternals who had supposedly 'disappeared' were now standing right in front of him—all with their heads bowed. A scene he never once thought he would get to see.
After all, even though he was a Progenitor, in the end, he ca from a lowest-level world. To be able to see leaders of one of the strongest high-level worlds lowering their heads in such a manner…
Slowly, he turned back towards the woman he was talking to—
In an instant, the way he looked at her changed. After all, the man knew that he wasn't the one these fourteen monstrous beings were bowing to.
And Shadow used this chance.
"You, your people, along with your entire world, have already disappeared from the universe, just like them."
She inford.
"We have… disappeared…?"
"Yes, you are no longer connected to the universe you were previously with."
"T-Then… where are we…? What are we… connected to?"
Ravana questioned. The shock on his face didn't disappear for even a second. If anything, the absurdity of the words he was hearing rose further and further.
Just… what sort of people was he talking to…?
What in the hell was happening…?
"You are now in another universe, a place where the Supre Worlds cannot reach you."
Shadow answered his question as she patted his shoulder with a reassuring nod, and Ravana—
"Even the Supre Worlds… won't be able to…?"
He obviously couldn't believe what he was hearing.
Shadow, however, just nodded, and with a light smile on her face—
"Not just that, since you are no longer part of that universe, your world will no longer be affected every ti the universe trembles."
"What…?"
Hearing those words, Ravana's attitude changed instantly. Even if he sohow ignored the rest of the things he heard, this—he could not ignore.
"W-Will my world really not be affected by the trembling?"
He asked.
Honestly, he still did not understand how the things this woman ntioned were even possible, but when it ca to his world and its safety, he… he wanted to believe her.
"Yes."
And Shadow, who knew his thoughts, nodded once again.
"You can now focus on recovering your world without having to worry about anything."
In an instant, Ravana felt such a strong sense of relief that the Progenitor barely stopped himself from collapsing.
"My… my world is saved…"
He muttered, his eyes that were once filled with fear and uncertainty now shined brightly with hope.
Soon, however, his hope collapsed as he thought of sothing else—
"Why…"
He spoke, his eyes turning towards the woman and—
"Why did you do all this? What… do you want in return?"
He asked.
Nothing in this universe was for free—the Greenmarch Progenitor knew that. If he was suddenly receiving so many favors at the sa ti, he was sure he needed to pay a price—a price that wouldn't be low.
But then—
"Well, no reason in particular."
Shadow shrugged.
"Let's say you were quite fortunate?"
"Fortunate…?"
Ravana blinked.
Was it truly… just him being fortunate…?
"Well, there is one thing I want in return."
Shadow spoke, and Ravana prepared himself to pay a big price.
His life, his freedom, anything—
"Your world's will.
I need you to give regular reports on its behavior from now on."
Shadow asked.
"Reports…?"
Ravana blinked again, and Shadow nodded again.
Nux didn't save Greenmarch for a reason. Well, if one thought about it, it could be said he protected Greenmarch just so he could know whether he could actually protect it or not.
It was a test.
An experint.
And after the experint was complete, Shadow noticed another thing.
Because of their actions, Greenmarch had beco… the first 'complete' world of their universe.
Most worlds in their universe, no matter what level, were nothing more than a star—a source of energy for Nux.
While so of them did have living entities in them, those entities were incomplete.
Till now, only Umbrasol had true, complete life forms—no matter how simple—in it.
But now, Greenmarch was the sa, and not just the sa—Greenmarch was miles ahead. It didn't just have simple life forms; it had complete, far more complicated life forms.
And Ravana…
He was the Progenitor of this world.
He had a direct connection with Greenmarch's will—sothing even Shadow, the soul of the universe, did not have.
"Yes."
Shadow nodded.
"I want to know everything there is."
It was truly an offer where both parties didn't lose anything—an offer no one would reject—
But—
"I… I don't think I can help you."
Ravana shook his head.
"Huh?"
Shadow narrowed her eyes, and Ravana—
"I cannot properly sense Greenmarch's will."
He revealed.
"What do you an?"
Shadow questioned directly.
"The will is still there—that I can sense—but it is no longer answering my calls. It is as if… it is lying dormant."
"Huh…?"
This ti, Shadow's expression changed.
"A will of a world… lying dormant…?
But… that makes no sens—"
She muttered to herself. Soon, however, she froze.
Then suddenly, a playful voice was heard.
"It all makes sense now, doesn't it, my love?"
Shadow, with her eyes wide open from the new possibility she had just figured out, turned towards Nux, who had appeared out of nowhere.
Then, she nodded.
"No wonder I couldn't connect with the wills of the worlds inside our universe. If all the wills are dormant, then they wouldn't possibly be able to answer . That is no different than talking to an unconscious being."
Nux nodded at those words, agreeing with them.
Shadow, however, had another question in her head.
"But…
Why are all the world wills in this state?
They were fine when they were in the main universe, weren't they?"
"That is because we completely changed their existence."
This ti, the one who answered was Nux. After all, Shadow wasn't the only one who was enlightened today.
"What do you an?"
Shadow tried to ask—
"I—"
BOOOOM
But before Nux could answer, his aura burst out and started getting stronger.
