Now reading: Chapter 2266 Anomaly’s True Agent from Supreme Harem God System, a Smut novel by SleepDeprivedSloth.

"Lady Seraphielle said the recordings were played by Anomaly's Agents.

The recordings were played here too, that has to be an act of an Agent.

And if there are indeed no agents like you say…"

The World Leader paused, and then, after taking a short breath—

"Then we need to prove that too."

He spoke, and with those words, the future of not just this particular world, but the entire Universe was decided.

This was the beginning.

Beginning of sothing… far greater than re belief or faith.

This was…

The beginning of demonstration.

The World's ssage reached the Light, and the Light answered.

This ti, there was no grand speech, no holy announcent that the Universe heard. The Light simply did what its follower requested.

A gate of bright gold opened over the world's capital, and Light Borns—beings that seldom made appearances throughout the Universe—stepped out.

That alone was a sign.

To actually send Light Borns instead of Light Subordinates for a single request…

The Supre World of Light was taking this seriously.

The Light Borns, on the other hand, moved with the sa attitude they always had.

They did not smile.

They did not greet.

They walked like judges entering a courtroom, like the world requesting them to investigate was not a demonstration, but the Light doing the world a favour instead.

And that was how the narrative was set.

The World Leaders bowed, greeting the Light Borns. Light Borns nodded back, barely acknowledging their existence.

Then, the space around them trembled, and multiple relics appeared out of nothingness, shimring softly as if they were ready.

And as all this happened—

as the relics were set, temporary monunts built—

people watched from windows and rooftops with… complicated faces.

So felt relief, thinking siding with Light would protect them.

So felt… terror.

After all, this was no different than letting Light do whatever they pleased and having no say in it.

And most… most felt both—relief and terror.

As for the World Leaders, once everything was set, one of them stepped forward and lowered his head,

"We invite you.

Please, search our world.

Read what you must.

Give us a chance to prove our faith."

The Light Born leader's eyes did not soften. He just looked at the World Leader for a slight mont and—

"We will."

He nodded.

That was all.

And with that—

The investigation began.

It lasted three days. They began at the temples—temples that were supposed to be the centre of the people.

The World Leaders were confident. After all, the temples were supposed to be the cleanest places—

and if their temples were 'clean', their world's image would improve.

The Light Borns did not care. They simply moved. One by one, the priests were pulled aside and sent inside a building. A holy, golden light enveloped them, and they felt a strange energy entering their minds—

And that's when it began.

Their mories began to spill.

Childhood prayers.

Private doubts.

Small jealousies.

Secrets that had nothing to do with the Anomaly.

The priests trembled as their minds were opened like books. The good thing was that only the Light Borns saw it; the rest of the world wasn't supposed to know.

Not when nothing they did was related to the Anomaly.

But even then—

It wasn't easy.

So cried from sha. They had lived long lives, and long lives… often ca with strong regrets, mistakes they couldn't reverse, and when they saw all those mistakes being repeated right in front of their eyes…

They couldn't help but feel strong emotions.

So cried from sha.

So cried from fear.

The Light Borns, however, did not care.

They just continued.

Fortunately, none of the priests were Anomaly's Agents. The World Leaders sighed in relief too—their world's centre was clean.

This was supposed to an sothing, right?

With hopeful gazes, they turned toward the Light Borns. It was… honestly pathetic to see Eternal Level beings falling that low, but that was simply how complicated the situation had beco.

High Level Worlds were being devoured.

A High Level World far stronger than their world was devoured just a few days ago.

Eternals… were no longer as absolute as they used to be.

Because the enemy was far stronger than what most expected.

It was firmly believed that only the Infinities could stop him—especially after Auren, the Strongest Child of Light, a being who could have destroyed their world within just a few days, fell as well.

And he fell so quickly that even the forces of Light did not have the ti to send reinforcents.

That was the level of enemy the entire Universe was facing. Whether it was the World Leaders of a world that was barely considered a High Level World… or even stronger High Level Worlds with trillions of years of history, multiple Eternals, even those with Absolute Laws and strong connection to one of the Four Supre Worlds—

none were different.

When it ca to survival, even a king begged. The World Leaders were no different; they felt no sha in acting like Light's dogs.

And their masters—

The masters had absolutely no change in their expressions.

The mont they were done with the priests, they moved to the officials, then to the generals, then to rchants, and then the families.

They worked like the only thing they wanted to do was leave.

None of them showed any reaction to any mory they saw, no matter how vulgar or shaful it might be.

The Light continued its search, and the entire world held its breath.

Every household, every being waited for their turn—

a turn they could never escape because the World Leaders made sure no being left as long as the Light Borns needed them here.

On the second day, it happened.

Anomaly's 'first' supporter was found.

It wasn't a grand villain, or a warlord with a strong ambition. It was…

Just a quiet man in a trade district.

A simple clerk who liked sharing stories, and because this ti the story he had heard was sothing no being in the Universe would be able to ignore—

He couldn't resist himself and shared the recordings with others.

And to make the story even more 'appealing', he added a few words—

"Maybe it is true."

And that was all it took.

Those four words beca his cri.

The clerk was dragged into the square. The Light Born commander stood above him and asked one question.

"Did you spread the poison?"

The man's lips shook.

"I… I only talked."

He couldn't deny it.

His mories were seen; they had been spread throughout the world. Every being saw what he did, what kind of life he had lived, his shaful monts, and… what he did.

He saw it happen too. Lying here would only make it worse.

But truth did not help either—

"You helped it grow."

Then, the Light Born commander turned toward the World Leader.

He did not pass the order on his own; after all, that could and would be used against him later. Of course, if it were before, he wouldn't have cared, but with the Anomaly in the picture, if he was the one who passed the punishnt, the word might spread again and Light's reputation might be affected again—

But…

What if it wasn't the Light that judged?

How would it be frad against them then?

The Light Born commander passed a small, almost untraceable smile—a smile that the World Leaders understood in an instant—and without missing even a single beat—

"Any being who supports Anomaly in any way, no matter how small or big of an impact it might have—

Will face one and only one price.

His life."

The clerk widened his eyes in horror—

"NO— MY LOR—"

He tried to beg, but one of the World Leaders lifted his hand and—

The clerk vanished.

His very existence was erased from the world.

Right in front of the entire world.

And with it,

A lesson carved itself into everyone's hearts:

You did not need to carry a weapon to be called an agent.

You only needed to doubt out loud.

Fear grew. Those who had spread the words panicked; they tried to run, but with the World Leaders knowing where they were all the ti through their connection with the Will, it was impossible.

The runners were caught, their mories were read, and without exception…

They were erased.

But then ca a strange case—

A simple man, a low-level rchant, a re mortal in a High Level World, a being of no importance and barely three hundred years of life. But his mories…

They were different.

There were… patches in his mories, as if soone had tampered with them.

Of course, asking the man himself was pointless. His mories were right in front of them—everything he thought and did, they knew. And because of that—

The Light Born commander knew—

"He was the one who activated the recording crystal for the first ti."

He declared directly.

And the man—

He widened his eyes in absolute fear… and disbelief.

Just… just what were they talking about…?

How could he have activated the crystal?

He didn't even know how one was supposed to activate them or how they even looked!

And then—

"He is the Anomaly's True Agent,

He just has no mories of it."
