In the Supre World of Light, the air felt… much different than before.
A few days ago, when the Anomaly made his moves, there were uncertainties and even panic. The image that Light had preserved for trillions of years was being tarnished thoroughly, and the beings of Light did not understand how they were supposed to react to it.
They feared Lady Seraphielle's reaction, they feared what she might do when the enemy was openly targeting them.
But at the sa ti, they also wondered another thing.
Why didn't any force try to use the sa tactic before?
Sure, weak forces would never try because the Light would simply crush them, but why did the other three Supre Factions not do the sa? After all, they definitely had the capability.
Was it because they feared an all-out war?
Then what about the ti when the Supre World of Chaos went against the other Supre Worlds?
Why didn't the Supre World of Chaos try the sa tactic?
Or…
Was sothing like that done and they… they just never knew it?
After all, at the level Infinities were, altering minds and ssing with mories wasn't a big deal. They knew it better than most.
The very fact that none of them knew or had forgotten about the existence of Lady Seraphielle until she woke up again was proof of that.
But very quickly, the beings of Light realized the true answer.
It wasn't the fear of war or that no one ever thought of it before, it was because… that would shift power.
And it wouldn't go away from Light.
It would be the opposite.
The power would co to Light, like it was happening now.
One by one, reports were coming in,
World after world pledging loyalty.
World after world requesting investigation.
World after world handing over "suspects."
The Universe's 'faith' in them had been restored. No, it wasn't just restored; it had… strengthened.
Light now held the power to investigate any world, any being they suspected, and no one in the Universe would be able to stop them.
And while doing so, Light wouldn't be seen as tyrants, they would be seen as protectors. That was what the dynamic had shifted into.
And it was working—
Within three weeks, the forces of Light had found around sixty thousand trillion Anomaly Agents.
A number so absurd that it was almost impossible to believe.
A network so huge that it would take centuries for the Anomaly to rebuild it. Even a child could understand that this was a huge blow to the Anomaly, a being who had beco a threat to the Universe.
What's better?
Because most of these 'Agents' had turned without their own knowledge and purely through Anomaly's mind-manipulation tricks, Anomaly's reputation had hit rock bottom.
And together with it, all the recordings he had spent so much effort spreading had lost their credibility as well.
Light now held absolute control over the people.
No being dared to spout any words against them. Even those who were against Light for a long ti had stopped and hidden themselves.
There were even reports of so manipulating their own minds to get rid of all the negative opinions they had about the Light.
Light now basically had absolute power amongst its people, with no being daring to raise questions against them.
With this—
Even if the Anomaly rebuilt his network and repeated the sa stunt again—
It simply would not matter, since Light now had a rock-solid position. Even if those recordings sowed a seed of doubt in people's heads, the people would remove that seed themselves, no matter what they had to do to achieve that.
The Anomaly was simply out of options, and Light—
It was stronger than ever.

In the different Universe, in… Anomaly's Universe—
The situation was grim, the won had solemn looks on their faces. After all, this 'Anomaly network' the entire Universe had been talking about—
They were the ones who made it from scratch, and it did not take just five years like the main Universe believed—
It took centuries.
From the ti they left Yrniel for the first ti, that was when they first started it. Obviously, their powers at first were limited, so the numbers were limited too, and the numbers only grew together with their power—
But the early seeds were sown thousands of years ago.
And now—
All those seeds, those that were still seeds or the ones that had already sprouted, they were all thoroughly destroyed.
Of course, there were still three tis the Anomaly Agents left in the Main Universe, but almost all of them were in worlds that belonged to the other three Supre Factions.
The Light Faction was almost completely free of their Agents, there were only about a few thousand left.
It was like… watching soone pour a cold bucket of water and destroy sothing they worked on almost all their lives.
"I did not expect this level of retaliation."
Aeliana admitted openly.
The rest of the won nodded, agreeing with her. There were many possible retaliations in their heads, but not this one.
Not sothing… this extre.
"This is no different than being a tyrant."
Ember spoke solemnly.
"Regularly reading people's mories? How is that any different than controlling puppets? Does Light want to rule the entire Universe made of puppets who have no free will?"
It ca quite hypocritical when it ca from people who mind-controlled trillions of beings into doing sothing they would normally never do, but that was just how the world and the being ruling it was—
Hypocritical.
And the won did not deny it.
"Sothing like this should have strong consequences. The people would never accept it. They are basically doing what we did on a higher level. How co we are the villains here?"
Thyra asked with a frown.
"Because we changed the structure that had remained the sa for trillions of years."
Lyriana answered with a shrug.
She understood how this worked, they all did.
"We devoured worlds, we killed, we manipulated, and most importantly, we stand against an enemy who is stronger than us.
This was never about right or wrong.
It is about who is stronger, and right now—
It is the Supre World of Light.
That is why people drift towards them."
The elf spoke, and once again, the won nodded.
"They are basically living a life of slavery."
Astaria snorted. When she heard everything that had been happening, it left… a bad taste in her mouth.
"Better be a slave than dead."
Eisheth shrugged, like it was the most natural thing in the world.
"I would rather die."
Astaria's answer ca instantly. Vyriana, standing beside her, nodded strongly. She too had the sa opinion.
But—
"Easy to say when you are not in their position."
Riona comnted.
"Your decisions aren't just yours. They affect your family too."
Then Riona looked right into Astaria's eyes and—
"Do not forget, you lived the first few centuries of your life protecting the man you hated, even when you were considered the strongest on the continent.
You were bound by 'duty' back then.
Duty you only let go when Nux appeared."
"I was young back then."
Astaria answered, but this ti, her voice was… comparatively lower.
"You say that, but you aren't any different right now either. Think what you would have done if you did not have an entirely different Universe to hide in.
What would you have done if you knew you could not escape the fate of your mind being read because people who are far stronger than you and who control everything around you want that?
Would you have killed yourself?
What then?
Would you have left Nux to fend for himself? Would you have died without fighting with him?
Would you… have left him alone?"
"…"
Astaria did not answer.
And she did not have to; the won knew her personality, they knew what her answer already was.
Riona, however, wasn't done.
"Of course, I am not saying there aren't any brave or… foolish warriors who think the sa. Warriors who do not have a family to cling to, warriors whose… pride is stronger than their love for the people around them, or even themselves—
And those warriors are either dead, hiding, or are on the run.
You won't be seeing them anyti soon,
Or at all."
Riona spoke and…
Silence spread all over the place.
No woman spoke because they knew Riona was correct.
"But all this tension, this should not last, not for long."
Rune comnted.
It wouldn't make sense.
There was a strict boundary between fear and comfort. People can live in fear as long as it is comfortable—
But once the strictness rises to a certain level, it results in… destruction.
The sa thing should happen in this case too.
There was no way the people would be able to live in constant fear of their mories being checked every second.
"It would last if only Light ruled, people have no power against them."
Vyriana spoke.
"Well, good thing that it isn't just Light that rules, no?"
Aeliana chuckled. Vyriana's face turned solemn and—
"Are you expecting… the other Infinities to act?"
The Dragon asked.
