"It's Lord Orravyn, he and the other Infinities wish to talk."

Lord Light reported. He seed frustrated and… afraid.

How could he not be?

They had been planning, they had been making sure that every single thing remained a secret, and that they would make the first move before anyone could realize. Lady Seraphielle was the one who was supposed to contact the other Infinities, not the other way around.

Lord Light's mind had already started spinning.

Why do they wish to talk?

Why only now?

What were they trying to do?

Do they… know?

He couldn't help but think more and more strongly about that last possibility, because if the other Infinities knew and had been preparing proper defense, then the elent of surprise they had been hoping to get would be ruined and they…

Their position would be much, much worse.

Light needed this, desperately.

So the more Lord Light thought about it, the more stuck he felt.

Seraphielle, on the other hand, was much calr. She looked at Lord Light and—

"Did they say sothing?"

She asked, but honestly, she already knew the answer. The Infinities were like her; they wouldn't say anything. So even before Lord Light could shake his head, Seraphielle had already stood up from her throne and looked in a particular direction.

A direction where she could sense the other three were gathered.

She then took a step forward and she—

"Be prepared to move the mont I give the command."

"Lady Seraphielle, the preparation—"

"I will stall, but if I fail, move with whatever we have. Leave the lower-level worlds, focus on the stronger ones."

"I understand."

Lord Light nodded and Seraphielle disappeared.

Lord Light stood at the temple for a few seconds, preparing himself for the grand War that could start any mont now.

Then, he began communicating with other Light Borns, giving orders to rush the preparations even further.

Even the Light Borns who had been resting after working tirelessly were sent to work again.

On the other side, Seraphielle appeared in a giant room with a ridiculously large table in the middle, the sa room where the Infinities always held their discussions.

The only difference was that this ti, it was the actual Infinities who had gathered, not their Wills.

A rare sight, one that for a mont made Seraphielle pause as she glanced at the beings sitting in the room. Only for a very small second, of course; she then quickly shook her head and sat on her seat.

Silence fell in the room, no one spoke, almost as if the four strongest beings in the Universe were trying to silently read each other.

Seraphielle, of course, had no complaints; she was hoping to stall for a few hours anyway, she wouldn't mind spending a few monts in these foolish gas.

Minutes passed by in monts. For any other being in the Universe, sitting at the table in silence for this long would make them lose their minds. Even beings like Auren, or the strongest Supre Borns of other Supre Worlds, would be the sa.

The Infinities, however, did not care.

They just waited—

Until one of them had no choice but to speak.

And that one beca Orravyn.

"I apologize for calling all of you out all of a sudden."

The Infinity of Eternity spoke, looking at the people present in the room.

"Bah!"

The Infinity of Darkness, Ul'Thakar, shook his head in his usual aggressive tone.

"Don't spout sothing you do not an!"

Then, he turned towards Seraphielle and his grin widened.

"Not to ntion if there is soone who should apologize, it is her."

Seraphielle tilted her head in confusion when she heard those words.

"What do you an?"

She asked directly.

"You have to ask?"

Ul'Thakar seed surprised.

Then, he shook his hand dismissively and—

"As if you don't know what I am talking about. Don't play innocent, Seraphielle. It is disgusting."

"I do not know."

Seraphielle answered in an assertive tone.

Ul'Thakar looked at her for a mont and—

"You closed your worlds. It affected the Universal Scale; countless have suffered. For soone who screams peace, happiness and whatnot—

It was quite a selfish move."

He spoke. For a mont, Seraphielle sighed in relief.

They did not know.

She thought inwardly.

Like Lord Light, she too had the sa fear in her head, but seeing that even Ul'Thakar did not ntion it, it was clear that they didn't know.

Or…

It could be that Ul'Thakar did not know, but others did.

Seraphielle doubted Orravyn, but of course, she didn't say or show anything, she wasn't foolish enough to give her plan away through her expressions.

She was… a few eras too old to make a mistake like that.

"I did what was necessary."

Seraphielle answered. There was this annoyed tone in her voice that she tried to hide, but couldn't, and Ul'Thakar enjoyed every mont of it.

"Your actions are only making things easier for Anomaly. You are proving to the Universe that the Infinities are unable to stop him. You are ruining our reputation."

He began giving a lecture.

"If you have a better idea, I am all ears. For soone who has done nothing all this while, you sure have a lot to speak."

Seraphielle snorted as she closed her eyes; it was clear she did not wish to talk about this matter any longer.

"Nothing? I sent help! You sent them back, that isn't my fault! They were quite good n!"

Ul'Thakar answered; he felt wronged.

"If you consider those worms to be 'quite good', then I was mistaken to expect help from you."

Seraphielle answered, without looking at Ul'Thakar.

"You…"

Ul'Thakar's crimson eyes shined.

But before he could say anything else—

"That is enough."

Another voice spoke.

It was the Infinity of Balance, Equarios.

He then looked at Seraphielle and—

"You are having a difficult ti."

He spoke with a gentle, compassionate tone, almost as if he was actually worried about her and felt bad.

Of course, Seraphielle didn't buy it.

No one did.

Seraphielle just turned towards Orravyn, completely ignoring the Infinity of Balance and—

"Did you call us here for these foolish talks?"

She asked.

While stalling here was a good thing for her, Seraphielle did not wish to look too suspicious. She would normally never entertain the other Infinities having 'fun' because of her situation, so she couldn't possibly keep this conversation going or these old monsters would notice sothing.

Orravyn looked at Seraphielle for a mont and didn't say anything, and Seraphielle…

She let out a big sigh in disappointnt—

"I do not have the ti for these gas, Orravyn.

Unlike the three of you, I actually have an enemy I need to deal with."

And she stood up, prepared to leave.

"Heh, we are seeing how you are dealing with your enemy, the entire Universe is seeing it."

Ul'Thakar grinned; the superiority and mockery were apparent in his tone. Seraphielle looked at him with her sa usual calm and—

"Then you and the entire Universe can continue watching, because once I deal with the Anomaly and capture him alive—

Don't think you will receive anything out of it."

"Capture him alive?"

Ul'Thakar laughed even louder.

"Bold words for soone who doesn't even know which of her worlds would be attacked next."

"We will see about that."

Seraphielle just shrugged and turned around, preparing to leave, but before she could—

"Seraphielle, please stop."

Orravyn finally spoke up.

"Just let her go, who cares?"

Ul'Thakar snorted.

"Why have you called us anyway?"

The Infinity of Darkness asked. Equarios nodded too; he wanted to know as well. Orravyn looked at them and—

"The Fifth Infinity contacted."

He revealed.

"What…?"

This ti, even Seraphielle, who was actually prepared to leave, turned around, sowhat surprised.

The Fifth Infinity…?

He called?

Why now of all tis?

She couldn't help but wonder.

This would change everything; none of her imdiate plans included the appearance of the Fifth Infinity. What was she supposed to do now!?

She didn't know what he was like, neither could she predict his actions, not to ntion he had connections with the Anomaly too.

The only person who might actually be aware of her plans was the Anomaly; what if the Anomaly knew and the Fifth Infinity was acting on it?

All these questions appeared in her mind.

And it wasn't just her; the other two Infinities who heard the news for the first ti had countless thoughts in their heads.

After all, they too had plans of their own—plans that would all be ruined if they added another player into this ga.

"Are you sure it was him?"

Equarios narrowed his eyes.

And Orravyn—he did not answer, he just waved his hand and a crystal ball appeared in front of him, hovering in the air.

"It was left in front of my World a few hours ago; I could not trace it back."

He spoke as he gently touched the crystal, then—

He activated it. The crystal projected a screen in the air, and on that screen—

There was that face.

The face the Infinities wouldn't forget.

Azriel Ruinous.
