Zylarith waved his hand, prepared to end the First Contradiction but—

"Huh…?"

Nothing happened.

Zylarith stared at his surroundings with a dumbfounded look on his face and just then—

"It won't work."

Nux shook his head.

"W-What do you an!?"

Zylarith looked at him, wanting an explanation, an answer.

And this ti, Nux decided to play along, just like Zylarith once did at the beginning of the battle.

Arrogant?

Not this ti.

At this particular mont, Nux was absolutely sure of what he was doing because no matter how strong, skillful, or scheming Zylarith was, right now, he couldn't move an inch, giving Nux all the ti in the world he wanted to tornt him, to play with him, to do… whatever he pleased with him.

"Do you still not understand it?"

Nux asked with an amused look on his face.

"I thought you were quicker than that."

Zylarith's frown deepened even further, his mind was trying to think of an answer but no matter how desperately he tried—

Nothing ca up.

Nux saw it and shook his head.

"Law of Anomaly."

He began.

"That is the Law I comprehended."

"The Law of… Anomaly…?"

Zylarith frowned in confusion, this was obviously the first ti he was hearing an absurd na like this.

What did that even an!?

It didn't link to any of the Primordial Energies at all!

Zylarith's thoughts were on his face, so much that Nux didn't even need a second look to tell what he was thinking.

And that made him laugh.

"It is a Law that does not fit inside normal reality, logic, or universal rules. It allows to create results that should not be possible, even if the thod makes no sense.

It allows to move when movent is impossible, damage soone even if my attack does not exist, or use Laws in ways they should not work.

And no—

It is not the sa as your Chaos.

Whatever your Chaos is or however strong your mastery over it is, in the end, Chaos is still just a Law, one of the Primordial Energies.

It works by defining reality through Chaos. It twists, contradicts, or ruins order, structure, aning, cause, and effect.

In other words, while Chaos does affect Laws, it too, has a structure, a pattern. It simply… turns a Law's own logic against it.

I, however, am different.

I do not need to define anything.

I do not make another rule to fight the already existing rules, I am an existence even reality itself fails to categorize.

While your Chaos stretches the limit of what is possible.

I control the impossible."

Nux declared, his golden eyes shining brightly, almost as if he was declaring Zylarith's end.

"And right now—

I made it so you ending your First Contradiction becos impossible, it falls outside the limit you can stretch to.

So now, you no longer have power over it."

Nux smiled, his body already healing back to its natural state, only now, with his control over the Law of Anomaly being far stronger than what it was when the battle began—

His presence alone was different.

Nux Leander was different.

Now, the question was no longer whether he was comparable to the Infinities—

Because he was.

Now, the question was whether he could defeat all Four Infinities at the sa ti and honestly—

At so level, Nux knew he couldn't.

Even as strong as he was right now, he wasn't strong enough to face Four Infinities, all at the sa ti.

But that didn't an he couldn't do it at all.

After all, strengthening his understanding of the Law of Anomaly wasn't the final reward he was going to get out of this battle.

The final reward was Zylarith himself.

And his understanding of the Road to Infinity, the Power of Chaos, and using that Power of Chaos, an even deeper understanding of the Law of Anomaly.

Basically—

Once the battle ended, once Nux devoured Zylarith Chaosveil and absorbed him completely—

He would have made Zylarith's powers… his own.

And the worst part?

He wouldn't have Zylarith's weakness.

Unlike Zylarith, he wouldn't exist in a Soul Form, he would have a physical body stronger than the Infinities.

He would beco a monster with no weaknesses.

A monster even the Four Infinities would have no way to defeat.

"LIES!! THAT ISN'T POSSIBLE!!"

That was when Zylarith scread in desperation, his purple eyes burning intensely.

"I AM AN INFINITY!!

My understanding of my Law is stronger than yours! My Power over Chaos is more concentrated than yours! My Quality of Energy is better than yours!

Soone like you shouldn't be able to overpower my Energy even if you are a part of another Universe!

That is impossible!"

He scread, denying everything Nux just said.

And he was correct.

The Quality of Energy was still a factor Nux lacked. After all, even now, the quality of his energy was rely at the level of a Transcendent.

This was also the reason he never used direct Laws against Eternal Level opponents, he knew the Quality of their Energy was better than his, which would allow them to overpower him, this was the reason he relied on physical might instead.

And since he couldn't defeat even an Eternal when it ca to Quality of Energy, defeating an Infinity Level being like Zylarith should have been… impossible.

But…

That was when Nux smiled even more.

"Did you not hear what you just said yourself?"

He asked with a curious look on his face, Zylarith frowned and Nux quoted his words—

"Soone like shouldn't be able to overpower your Energy even if I am a part of another Universe!

That is… impossible!"

Nux put more focus on the word impossible and Zylarith—

He understood.

Nux's grin widened.

"Didn't I tell you?

You are the one who follows that fixed system.

I exist outside of it."

Zylarith's eyes widened in absolute horror. Nux looked at him with a terrifying calm and then—

"You were a formidable opponent, Zylarith Chaosveil.

But now—

It is ti you fall."

He declared Zylarith's end like it was set in stone.

"No…"

Zylarith's body trembled, Nux on the other hand, took out a familiar weapon, a weapon he had trusted for hundreds of years now.

Its blade was long and impossibly straight, it was made out of a dark tal Nux still hadn't found, within that tal, crimson veins pulsed strongly, synchronizing with Nux's heartbeat.

It was the Bloodedge.

The Blade the Seer had gifted him all those years ago—

The Blade that—

Till now, had not disappointed him even once.

Zzzz

The mont the Blade appeared in his hand, it started devouring Nux's energy, almost as if reacting to him and saying hello.

"I missed you too."

Nux chuckled as he looked at it.

Then, he looked at the trapped Zylarith.

Now, Zylarith was trapped, he knew that, if Nux wanted, he could continue to attack him again and again, all the way until Zylarith could no longer keep his existence together but—

That would take long.

So Nux thought of another thod.

One simple strike.

A strike to end it all.

Nux knew that strike couldn't be normal, it needed to be strong, absurdly strong if he wanted to cut down an Infinity's Soul. Normal Weapons would not do it, he needed the Bloodedge because the Bloodedge was different.

Unlike other weapons, the Bloodedge had no limits, as long as Nux had enough Energy, the Bloodedge could form a strike that would cut down not one but all four Infinities at the sa ti.

And Energy was what Nux had… the most, he had… an unlimited amount of it.

With that thought in his mind, Nux chuckled, he looked at the Bloodedge that was still drinking his energy and then back at Zylarith, then—

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH

He started injecting more and more energy into the Bloodedge.

BOOOOM

The Bloodedge's Aura exploded, becoming stronger and stronger to the point where even Zylarith could sense it.

The attack that was forming was strong enough to cut him down, he needed to move, he needed to get away—

But his own First Contradiction made it impossible.

"No…"

For the first ti in his long life, Zylarith Chaosveil shivered.

"No!"

He almost begged.

But it didn't matter—

Nux wasn't planning on letting him go, he… couldn't let him go because of how important Zylarith was.

So he moved—

Once the Bloodedge had gathered enough Energy—

He sliced.

Or at least—

That was what he was about to do.

But just then—

The instant the Bloodedge had gathered enough energy, it did sothing out of expectation.

It…

Connected Zylarith's Chaos that was in the environnt with another, extrely familiar Chaos—

Chaos from the Main Universe.

And that—

Created a connection.

An opening.

A small, almost negligible opening, that any being in the Universe would have ignored—

That was if… they weren't waiting for it.

But they were.

And the mont the connection was ford, the opening was made, Nux, who sensed it, widened his eyes in disbelief.

He tried to reverse it, he tried to use his power to undo what he had just done—

But it was already too late.

A black hand with sharp, non-uniform claws stopped the opening from closing and the next instant—

Through that opening, a terrifying presence forced its way inside Nux's Dinsion.

Ul'Thakar Darkness.

And he wasn't alone.

Along with him, were the other Three Infinities.

Seraphielle Light.

Equarios Balance.

And Orravyn Eternity.

They were all here.

And Nux…

He looked at the sword in his hand as his eyes burned with unconcealed rage.

She…

She betrayed him.
