"Because after this—

There will be no more battles we need to worry about."

Felberta spoke, her words igniting a ray of hope in the won's eyes, but just then—

Nux removed his domain, essentially erasing the dinsion he created and… appeared in the Main Universe together with the Five Infinities.

"What…?"

And the mont the won realized what had just happened, they blinked in shock, even Felberta, who had shown blind trust in Nux till now, was shaken.

After all, no woman here understood what Nux had just done.

Half the reason Nux won against Zylarith was because when he was inside his Universe's influence, he was at his strongest, his body was so unbearably strong that attacks that would crush even Infinities only wounded him.

But that advantage disappeared the mont he left his Universe, the Main Universe's restriction would weaken his body significantly, so much that the body which was far stronger than an Infinity's body, would now actually be much, much weaker than it.

Let alone an attack like the First Contradiction, even a normal attack, if connected well—

Would end the battle right there and then.

Then—

Why would Nux do it?

Was it because he didn't want Zylarith to participate in the battle? Was Zylarith truly that big of a threat when it was no longer a one-on-one battle?

That was the only reasoning the won could think of, or at least—

Most of them could.

But Shadow was different.

She knew the truth.

In the battle against Zylarith, Zylarith had managed to seep his Chaos Energy inside their Universe and while his influence still hadn't grown to the point where others could sense him, the fact was that he still managed to influence it.

aning that if Zylarith was given enough ti, he could have taken control over their Universe, or at the very least, made his way into their Universe, giving him the ability to attack not just them, but even their children.

And that was what Nux was trying to protect.

Because if the Four Infinities stopped him while Zylarith succeeded in entering their Universe, everything Nux was fighting for would be over. The extra strength he had in his own Universe would not do him any good.

So the only thing Nux could do here—

Was to leave his Universe and fight them at a disadvantage.

At the very least, he won't be a problem anymore.

Shadow muttered as her eyes fell on Zylarith, who, the mont he entered the Main Universe, stopped controlling all the Chaos around him and moved like he didn't even exist.

Back in the Main Universe, Nux stood in front of the Five Infinities in a vast empty space. It looked identical to his own dinsion back in his Universe, but Nux could feel the difference clearly.

Far away, stars burned, galaxies glowed, there were no worlds nearby, but Nux could still feel their distant presence.

And along with it—

He could feel the restriction.

That unknown force which usually dropped his strength by more than ninety percent. But this ti, Nux wasn't the sa being he was anymore—

He was a being who controlled Impossibility.

An exception to every rule there was.

The Universe restricted any foreign being's strength, that was the rule, was it not?

Nux decided to beco its sole exception.

And it worked.

His strength returned.

Not all of it of course, his understanding of the Law of Anomaly may have strengthened, but completely resisting the restriction of a fully grown Universe was sothing even he could not do.

But even then—

Nux had retained almost seventy percent of his strength and right now, that was all he could do.

He looked at his enemies, then he looked at the sword in his hand and he tried to crush it, to get rid of it, to break it into countless pieces but—

As if it expected that—

Whoosh

The Sword suddenly turned into blood-red mist, and it disappeared out of existence, or at least, that was what everyone present believed.

But Nux…

He frowned since he could still feel the connection he had ford with it.

A connection he wanted to get rid of right here and now but—

"Any other being's mind would be too occupied with fear to even try and understand what just happened,

But you understood everything in an instant.

For that, I applaud you, Anomaly."

Nux heard a voice.

It was Orravyn Eternity.

The Infinity of Eternity looked at him with an amused, almost impressed look on his face.

"You overestimate yourself if you believe your lot's presence is enough to overwhelm soone with fear."

Nux snorted, acting dismissive.

Of course, inwardly, his mind was moving at an impossible speed.

Too many things had happened in too short of a ti. Just three seconds ago, he was preparing his final attack to defeat Zylarith, but from that to this particular instant, the Bloodedge showed its true purpose, the Seer betrayed him, the four Infinities forcefully invaded his Universe, he removed his domain to protect his wives, and now—

Now he was standing in front of these monsters, alone.

And his mind had already figured out a way to crawl his way out of this situation.

The situation was clear.

He couldn't win.

He couldn't possibly win against all Four Infinities even if his understanding of the Law of Anomaly had strengthened considerably, especially when he wasn't even inside his own Universe.

However, that was only true if he remained as strong as he currently was.

But—

Nux right now, wasn't the sa as Nux before.

Now, he had sothing, a way to grow.

He had… half of Zylarith Chaosveil's Soul, Soul that he had erased in his own Dinsion, Soul that his Universe had secretly collected, hoping to complete it inside his Main Universe, under his control.

Now of course, his current Soul was rely a fragnt of his true self, but that didn't an it wasn't valuable, it was still Zylarith's Soul, sothing that had his mories.

Very jumbled, almost incomprehensible mories, but if given enough ti, Nux could use those mories to strengthen his understanding of Chaos and by linking it further, Anomaly.

That was all Nux needed.

Ti.

And that was what he was trying to buy.

"You are quite arrogant, just like I predicted."

Orravyn's eyes shined as he scanned Nux with interest.

"Arrogant? Have you ever been humble in front of creatures you deem beneath you?

Why do you expect to do the sa?"

Nux questioned and the instant he did, instead of getting offended, Orravyn's smile widened.

It was the exact reaction Nux was looking for.

He hadn't t any of these Infinities before, but with all the information he had, it wasn't difficult to understand how twisted their personalities were.

The Infinities loved tornting those who rose to challenge them.

As for those who looked down upon them, while there hadn't been a being in the history of the Universe to ever do that—

It was clear that they would want to tornt him even more, they would want to make an example out of him and that was exactly what he wanted.

He wanted to lure them into taking their ti tornting him, ti that he would use to understand Zylarith's Fragnt's ssy mories and comprehend his Law of Absolute Chaos.

"Creatures you deem beneath you, huh…?

Your perspective of the world would be quite amusing indee—"

Orravyn tried to answer, but just then—

"That is enough."

Zylarith spoke up.

His purple eyes looked right at Orravyn's face and with a serious look on his face—

"Stop dilly-dallying,

Kill him right now."

Orravyn frowned but before he could do anything, the Infinity of Darkness, Ul'Thakar, grinned out loud.

"Would you look at that~

The great Zylarith Chaosveil is being wary of a child.

Oh, how low the mighty have fallen~"

He chuckled, mocking Zylarith without a tinge of sha. But Zylarith didn't lose his temper, instead, he glanced at Ul'Thakar and spoke with a solemn tone.

"The boy is not weak, Ul'Thakar.

He is a threat.

A graver threat than you realize.

I made the sa mistake of underestimating him, and I paid the price with half of my Soul. If it weren't for her sword, I would have perished."

The one who reacted the most at those words wasn't the Infinities they were directed to, it was Nux.

Her Sword.

He was right.

It was indeed the Seer who had betrayed him.

For now, that didn't matter, because while the Infinities were having a discussion, all his focus was on Zylarith's Soul he had devoured.

An hour.

That was all Nux needed.

Well, more accurately, he needed an hour of not fighting, so he could divert all his attention to Zylarith's fragnted, chaotic and ssy mories and make sense out of them.

But if the fight started and his attention shifted—

He would need even more ti.

That, however, didn't seem to be the problem right now because—

"Oh~ The boy's scary because he defeated ~

As if that's supposed to make us serious."

The Infinities didn't seem the least bit bothered by him.
