Han Ning walked to the front of the car; it seed deserted here, with luxury cars lined up ahead.
When would she ever be able to live such a life?
A life to be envied. Han Ning swore in her heart that she must let her grandmother live such a life in the future.
She had left early today, without putting on much clothing, and felt a bit cold all over.
She thought it must be the dampness of the underground garage that made it so chilly,
so she decided to find a brighter place, where it wouldn’t be so cold.
Just as she was about to walk forward, a strange woman’s voice stopped her in her tracks.
The woman seed unfamiliar to her. "If you do this and they find out, all our plans will go down the drain. Are you sure you want to continue?"
"But if we don’t, do you really believe your son will let us off so easily?"
Han Ning widened her eyes in disbelief. Could the son they were referring to be Suzhou? How ridiculous.
She covered her mouth tightly. Why wouldn’t this woman even spare her son?
She decided to listen further to see what exactly they were talking about.
"No way, don’t worry, I’ll handle this. Hanhan is back now, Suzhou is no longer useful. Don’t forget, Hanhan is our child together; the future of the Su family depends on our son."
The man didn’t look too happy; his concerns lay elsewhere. If soone overheard this, never mind staying at the Su family, he might end up in court.
The old man from the Su family, once angered, was not soone to be trifled with, even though he seed so weak usually.
The Su family was an empire he built single-handedly; how could he easily give it up?
"Alright, I understand. Are you saying that we should let Hanhan take over the company?"
The woman angrily glared at the man, clearly dissatisfied with his response.
"What else then? Don’t forget the things we did together back then. How could you not understand what really happened to Mrs. Su?"
Han Ning was so frightened she was about to cry out. She never expected the wealthy families to be so complicated, and she least expected she would end up working in such a place.
"Mmm... let go of , let go!"
"Be quiet."
"President Su, how co it’s you?"
Han Ning opened her eyes in disbelief. So, Suzhou knew all along that this was the kind of struggle happening within wealthy families.
Originally, Suzhou was supposed to have left earlier, but a temporary email from the company brought him back. He unexpectedly saw the girl he t at the bar eavesdropping here.

Han Ning nodded in fright. Since her boss had spoken, how could she dare not comply?

"Alright, it’s already the end of the workday today. You can co by tomorrow. I’ll explain the specifics of the job to you then."
Han Ning was dumbfounded. She had just arrived, and now she was being asked to leave—how unusual.
Could President Su have regretted hiring her, not wanting her to stay?
That was possible, but it was just a coincidence that it was indeed the end of the workday now. Perhaps he was simply telling her to leave because it was quitting ti.

"Don’t act like this. I’ve already inford the front desk. You can start coming to work normally tomorrow. You can go now. Rember, what you saw today must not be told to anyone else."
Han Ning nodded seriously.
As long as she had a job, she wouldn’t pursue anything else.
As for the power struggles among the wealthy, she didn’t want to get too involved.
