The middle-aged man’s face turned livid, grinding his teeth. Seeing Scarred Eyebrow take out his phone, he didn’t interfere.
Not long after, a stretched-out business vehicle arrived, and soone invited Xu Ke aboard, joining the other two.
They drove to a nearby hotel where the elder and Lin Yiran waited in the room. Seeing Xu Ke arrive, Lin Yiran hurried over, her anxious deanor unchanged.
"Did they do anything to you?"

She paused and didn’t continue.
Xu Ke glanced at her slightly flustered face, teasingly asked, "Weren’t you worried about ?"
"I wasn’t!" Lin Yiran imdiately denied.
Not probing further, Xu Ke comforted her a bit, then approached the elder, tossed the keys on the table without a word, poured himself a cup of tea, and blew on it.
"This isn’t what I wanted!" The elder’s eyes flashed, but he spoke calmly.

Once Xu Ke finished, the middle-aged man beca furious, stood up, and pointed at Xu Ke, saying, "If you know what’s good for you, stop playing tricks here, or believe ..."

The elder knocked his walking stick, interrupting the middle-aged man’s words, and said softly, "Shut up!"
"Dad, this kid is likely the accomplice of the thief, otherwise how would he know where the item is? Since when does our Chu Family have to regard a criminal!"

Hearing this, the Chu surnad middle-aged man and the treasure appraiser froze, glaring at Xu Ke with hatred.
The elder understood Xu Ke’s aning, his face stern, and turned to the two nearby, coldly saying, "Mr. Xu worked hard retrieving the lost item for the Chu Family, both of you better apologize!"

"I said apologize!"
The elder’s voice turned fierce, like a tiger ready to pounce.
Seeing this, the two dared not delay, bowed to Xu Ke, but their clenched hands turned white.
