"What makes you think I’ll help you?" Xu Ke’s voice was laced with indescribable sarcasm. Yun Rulan’s tightly clasped hands felt like children’s toys in Xu Ke’s grip, easily freed with a slight exertion.

Outside the villa, the once arrogant and invincible Yun Rulan shouted like a madwoman, "Xu Ke, I was wrong, I’ll never dare again, please spare the Yun Family. Xu Ke!" She scread with all her might, following the car, trying to enter the villa but was shut outside by an iron gate, watching helplessly as the Lamborghini disappeared from her sight. She could only collapse powerless to the ground.
Yun Rulan had never spoken so loudly since childhood, even in a nightclub. Now, after just a few shouts, her originally pleasant voice turned hoarse and harsh.
