Lu Xiaoxiao reached out and wiped the tears off her face, gazing at Xu Ke with stubborn eyes.

Xu Jie frowned, "Don’t overthink." Xu Jie said coldly.
Snake Master lifted his eyelids to glance at Xu Jie but didn’t pursue the matter further; instead, he continued, "This wasn’t the master’s order; we just accepted the job.
