Now reading: Chapter 763 Factory from Supreme Heir Son-in-law, a Romance novel by Tomorrow Little Fish.

The Black man looked at the job offer in his hand, then looked up at Xu Ke’s expression, which seed a bit unpleasant, as if he couldn’t accept that his imdiate superior was actually an Asian.

"I’m not very familiar with the situation here. Could you please take to my office?" Xu Ke didn’t let the emotions in the other’s eyes affect him and remained polite. The Black man’s expression improved a lot upon seeing Xu Ke’s attitude, but his deanor didn’t seem as courteous compared to Xu Ke’s politeness.

"Follow ." The Black man’s attitude towards Xu Ke was sowhat indifferent, and he even walked with exaggeratedly large strides as if trying to give Xu Ke a hard ti with his fast pace.

Fortunately, Xu Ke’s physique was comparable to the other’s, so he wasn’t left behind, and he maintained the pace all the way to the manager’s office.

When the Black man turned around and saw Xu Ke still following him without any sign of fatigue or breathlessness, a hint of disappointnt flashed in his eyes. He rudely pushed the door open, raised his head high, avoiding looking at Xu Ke, and said, "Your office is here. The previous manager just left a few days ago, and nothing has been cleaned up. If you want to work here, you’ll have to tidy up yourself. I’m not going to help you; I have my own work to do. I’m leaving."

The Black man glared at Xu Ke fiercely, then turned and left.

Xu Ke stood outside for a while, waiting for the strange sll in the room to dissipate, before stepping inside.

He wondered what kind of person the previous manager was to turn a perfectly good office into a trash heap. There were piles of takeout boxes and garbage in the corner, as tall as a small hill, with bugs crawling over them, and even rats rummaging through the waste.

The rats, which were supposed to be timid, rely glanced at Xu Ke when he entered the room, and then continued to rummage through the garbage, seemingly unafraid.

Pinching his nose with a frown, Xu Ke looked around at the cluttered, stinking room. He felt that even if the room were cleaned later, he might never forget the odor, and it was likely that the sll had deeply perated the walls and wouldn’t disappear even after cleaning.

The more Xu Ke thought about it, the more it seed to be the case, and the idea of cleaning up the room for his use faded instantly. Nonetheless, Xu Ke still contacted cleaning staff to clean the space and found another room in the factory for himself.

Organizing these matters took Xu Ke quite so ti, and after paying a hefty fee to the cleaning staff, it was already three or four in the afternoon. Although it wasn’t the end of the workday yet, people in the factory were already packing up, preparing to leave.

Xu Ke watched the scene before him, licking his molars silently, observing the departing crowd. His expression was unclear, his thoughts unknown. Amidst the group of white people, the earlier Black man was conspicuously noticeable. He raised his middle finger at Xu Ke, flashing a smug smile.

However, Xu Ke didn’t feel angry due to the other’s actions. His heart was utterly calm.

Using early clock-outs and deliberate disregard as ways to intimidate him had no effect on Xu Ke. He even thought these instigated workers were quite pitiful. They hadn’t used their heads before acting; what good would offending him do them? He could easily turn them into unemployed people with a single word.

Xu Ke’s indifference caused the Black man’s smug smile to lose its luster.

In just half an hour, the vast factory was nearly empty, leaving only Xu Ke behind. Even the gate security occasionally left, but whether they stayed or not made no difference to Xu Ke, as they didn’t perform their duties anyway.

Xu Ke road the entire factory like a lion on patrol, spending a whole two hours inspecting every part. Encountering locked doors, he forcibly dismantled them, opened all the locks, and relocated stored files and materials to his newly organized office. Xu Ke spent the entire night reviewing these docunts until dawn, achieving a thorough understanding of the factory’s affairs.

That morning, an agency received a large order. The receptionist could hardly believe her ears when she heard the client’s request. Taking a deep breath, she said, "Please don’t joke like that."

"I’m not joking." Xu Ke rubbed his brows, replying a bit helplessly.

"So, your factory truly needs a hundred factory workers and twenty security guards?" The receptionist took a deep breath, her hand holding the phone trembling slightly.

"Yes."

"May I ask what your factory produces? Twenty security guards is quite a lot, making it hard for us not to speculate," the receptionist said, trying to keep her voice steady.

"My factory makes clothing, but due to certain reasons, the factory might face so unrest, so I need more security guards to maintain order." Xu Ke replied honestly.

"Hence, I hope the security guards who apply are physically strong, preferably with so fighting experience, and honest and responsible in nature," Xu Ke tily stated his requirents for the security personnel.

"Alright, we will record your requirents and notify you once we have results." The receptionist unconsciously smiled.

As soon as she hung up, a group crowded around her, chattering and inquiring about the call.

The receptionist proudly shared with the surrounding people about the big order she had just received, "If I complete this order, I won’t have to work for the next six months."

anwhile, even though it was already the morning work start ti, no one had arrived at the factory. Xu Ke showed no signs of panic and confidently walked to the entrance, locked the door, and went back to the hotel for a good rest.

The Black man, with a few friends he was quite close to in the factory, went to his house, drinking beer and watching the ga, while uttering profanities.

"Is it really alright for us not to go like this? I feel uneasy, like sothing bad is about to happen. Maybe we should go back." A curly-haired man, holding a beer hesitated, said.

"You coward, what can he do to us? It’s not like just one of us didn’t go; none of us did. If anything happens, it’s on him, not us." The Black man took a sip of beer, watching the ga nonchalantly.
