"I’m not forcing you; the choice is yours, make it." Claude crossed his legs, looking disdainfully at Bart’s illegitimate sons and daughters.

Even though Claude said he was giving them a choice, in reality, they only had one choice, which was to pay up to avoid disaster.

Bart would never allow his children to be criminals who have served ti, and they would never let Claude have the chance to control such a large amount of company shares. If those shares fell into Claude’s hands, then there wouldn’t be any competition between them and Claude.

Bart’s face had turned sour, unable to maintain any facade. Looking at his disappointing children, his hand under the table nearly left blood marks in his palm.

"You really know how to cause trouble for . Solve this matter yourselves. If you can’t, then get out of this house; I don’t need you as my children," Bart said, pounding the dining table hard and glaring at Claude before turning and leaving without hesitation.

"This isn’t a trivial matter; we need to think it over," Albo said carefully, looking over the docunt.

"Ten minutes. I give you only ten minutes. Once ten minutes are up, anyone who hasn’t signed, I will assu you’ve given up the first two options and automatically chosen the jail ti option. Then my lawyer will imdiately charge you with ’hiring a murderer’," Claude looked at his wristwatch and said.

"Ten minutes! Isn’t ten minutes too short?" Albo’s face turned sowhat unpleasant.

"I think ten minutes is just about right. If the ti is longer, you might try so asset transfer tricks, and wouldn’t today be a wasted trip for ?" Claude suddenly raised a corner of his mouth and said.

"Don’t easily assu others are fools. Ten minutes is already a long ti, enough for you to contemplate life," Claude had no intention of being lenient. "Keep track of the ti for them. Let know when it’s up," Claude took out his phone from his clothes and said to the butler standing behind him.

The sound of a ga starting ca from Claude’s phone.

The thought that they were about to be left penniless while this culprit acted as if nothing happened, even playing gas here, infuriated them. But they dared not voice their anger, knowing too well they were at Claude’s rcy. If they provoked him and he threw them in jail, losing everything would be the least of their worries.

The fastest to act among them was Marian. She only glanced briefly before signing her na on the contract.

"I’ve signed it. If there’s nothing else, may I go rest?" Marian capped her pen and asked.

The butler stepped forward to take Marian’s signed contract, and after a simple verification found no issues, his gaze softened as he looked at Marian. "Of course, have a pleasant life," the butler said with a smile.

Marian paused abruptly as she left her seat, finding the butler’s expression sowhat indescribable. She opened her mouth as if to speak, but ultimately closed it, swallowing back her words.

As soon as Marian left, several others signed their nas on the contract.

Their thoughts were quite simple: if even the tough one, Marian, had signed the agreent, they might as well follow suit. Holding out stubbornly would likely lead to a bad end.

Usually, ten minutes felt long, but now it seed to pass too quickly. Of the ten people handed the contract, six signed it, and four stood defiant, refusing to sign.

"I don’t believe he can actually throw us in jail. If such a thing got out, it would be a huge scandal for the Calvin Family. If he’s not afraid of losing face or his father’s affection, then let him do it. Am I scared?" soone said indignantly.

She thought her voice was low, but forgotten was the stillness of the dining room, and Claude was no deaf man; how could he not hear?

Sure enough, the mont she finished speaking, Claude put down his mobile phone, his gaze icy as he looked at the speaker. "You can see for yourself whether I’m afraid of embarrassnt."

"Since the remaining ones don’t want to sign, let them be. Rember their nas and submit their evidence of hiring a murderer to the police. Let’s expedite the trial; the sooner, the better. I don’t want to see those disgusting faces in the Calvin house again," Claude stood up from his chair, adjusted his clothes, and left with Xu Ke in tow.

"I noticed you were silent the entire ti inside; what were you thinking?" Claude asked as he sat in the car.

"I was thinking about how quickly the money ca," Xu Ke raised his head, speaking with vacant eyes while driving.

"Hmm?" Claude thought he misheard.

"This way of making money is much faster than earning it honestly," Xu Ke said sincerely, wondering if he had been too dull before, missing out on countless lucrative opportunities by not thinking of this ’empty-handed, white-wolf’ money-making thod earlier. Although he didn’t lack money, who would complain about having too much?

Seeing Xu Ke’s regretful appearance, Claude couldn’t help but laugh, "Today’s considerable haul is partly thanks to you. Later, let’s inventory their properties; you can have whichever you like." Claude generously offered, after all, spending what wasn’t his ca without pain.

Hearing Claude’s words, Xu Ke, although not particularly interested in those malls and factories, nodded in agreent.

Claude was happier seeing Xu Ke wasn’t pretending to be all prim and proper. "What I like most is your straightforward nature, no pretentiousness. Unlike so people who, though clearly wanting sothing, feign modesty, hiding their greed poorly, as if people wouldn’t know their true intentions. Ha, do they assu everyone’s a fool?"

Claude casually mocked a little without further comnt.

After they left, the Calvin house plunged into chaos. The four who hadn’t signed looked at the docunts before them, suddenly feeling a bit feverish.

"Do you think he would really sue us?" soone asked cautiously.

"If he sues, the Calvin family will be the ones shad. As long as he bears the Calvin na, he wouldn’t dare do such a thing. This isn’t sothing to be proud of; having so many criminals from the Calvin family would be a laughingstock," the one who previously led the notion of not signing said again.
