"No, you can’t do this, it’s illegal and you’ll go to Hell." Nell said, looking at Claude with a terrified expression.
"Of course I can do this, I have the right to do this. I haven’t avenged my mother’s death caused by you yet; skinning is only the first step. I want to make you suffer all the pain while alive, just like the pain my mother felt back then," Claude said coldly.
"What does your mother’s death have to do with us? She had postpartum depression and couldn’t think straight; she committed suicide herself. We didn’t lay a hand on her or force her. You can’t just bla us for this, it’s completely unfair to us," Carn retorted.
"Fair? You’re talking to about fairness? My mother was driven to death by you, and now you want fairness? My mother died painfully while you have lived freely for so many years. Is that fair? Don’t talk to about fairness, those two words are laughable," Claude said with a smile that had no joy whatsoever.
"Once you’re in my dungeon, fairness is determined by , it has nothing to do with you. You just have to obediently accept my punishnt," Claude said disdainfully, patting Nell’s face.
"We are your father’s won, even if he doesn’t pamper us as much now, we have been his won and given him children. Aren’t you afraid he won’t let you go when he cos?" Hannah said, with lips already shedding skin, clutching them.
"I’ve seen that trick of complaining to my father since I was a child, but I am no longer a child. I wasn’t afraid of that trick even when I was little, do you think I’d be afraid now that I’ve grown up? You are threatening the wrong person," Claude said with a smug smile.
"Now, I’m not afraid of Bart’s threats at all, so don’t struggle unnecessarily. If you quietly wait for death, maybe I’ll give you a swift one," Claude suggested sincerely.
"We don’t want a swift death; we want to live, to live healthily and safely. If you let us go, I’m willing not to pursue any criminal responsibility against you. Persuade yourself to let us go, we can talk about anything. Your dad left a lot of money when he separated; I haven’t spent much over the years. Most of the money is still in the account. If you need it, I can offer the bank card," Hannah tried to win over Claude with money.
"Do you think I’m an idiot? How shallow do you think my eyelids are? It’s truly insulting that you think you can move this way," Claude said, shaking his head at Hannah.
"You know, I didn’t originally intend to start with you, but your words are just too irritating, so much so that I don’t want to keep you for another mont," Claude said impatiently, frowning at Hannah.
"Use Hannah for practice, and between the other two, pick one for display," Claude, uninterested in dealing with Hannah any longer, turned his head to Xu Ke and said.
"Alright, use her," he said, pointing at Nell.
Carn, not being chosen, breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at her two sisters, with sympathy and relief intertwined in her gaze, knotting into a braid.
But the one who was chosen didn’t feel relieved. They looked at the two n in the field, their gaze lingering especially long on Xu Ke.
This man, without any initial presence, was now the main force about to lay hands on her. When Hannah looked at Xu Ke’s face, the more she looked, the more familiar it beca until it finally overlapped with an image from her mory.
"It’s you, you were the one who delivered the package to that day. Did you also kill my son?" Hannah asked, hatred in her eyes fixedly staring at Xu Ke’s lower face.
"Yes." Xu Ke didn’t deny it. He even walked to the wall filled with torture tools, choosing a knife as thin as a cicada’s wing from among many. Claude followed behind Xu Ke, mimicking his actions, also taking a similar knife from the wall.
"You devil, is it not enough that you killed my son? Now you even want to skin ? No rciful lord will forgive you for this. Even if I beco a vengeful ghost, I will co for you," Hannah said with hatred in her eyes, looking at Xu Ke.
"You weren’t a match for while alive, do you think you’d be able to fight dead? What a joke." Xu Ke said, as he used the blade in his hand to hook open her clothes.
Claude copied his actions.
"I advise you not to move, because if you do, my knife might slip. If it sses up your skin, that’s the least of your worries, but if it injures or kills you, then things could get interesting," Xu Ke said lightly.
Though he spoke casually, none dared take his words lightly. They looked at the knife in Xu Ke’s hand, trembling like sieves one by one.
Using the cold blade, he patted Nell’s face, his tone emotionless as he said: "Just stay like this, don’t make any major movents that might affect my work," Xu Ke urged diligently with a courteous expression.
After Xu Ke finished speaking, he glanced up at Claude, seeing he kept pace, he began to describe in detail how to completely peel a skin from a person.
Xu Ke’s movents were remarkably delicate, as if perford hundreds of thousands of tis. He first carved a line of blood on Nell’s body, then the next mont, the tip of the knife pierced into the line. With a slight flick, he exposed an edge of skin.
"Human skin seems frail but actually it’s very resilient. When tearing it off, you must do it forcefully and quickly. Don’t worry about tearing it; human skin won’t tear easily. Just experint boldly." Xu Ke, fearing Claude would hold back, explained patiently.
Initially, Claude was still a bit hesitant, as this was his first ti, but strangely enough, though it was his first ti holding a knife, his hand was unexpectedly steady, even able to perfectly replicate Xu Ke’s actions.
His hand followed Xu Ke’s movent, inserting into Hannah’s wound, fingers exerting force, pulling the skin apart.
The process of skinning wasn’t as smooth as Claude imagined; it consud a lot of his strength. Fortunately, the result was successful, albeit at the cost of Hannah and Nell suffering.
Carn had fainted as soon as the two inserted their hands into the wounds, while the two used as guinea pigs fainted from the pain the instant their skin was torn open.
