What does it feel like when a mountain of flesh lunges at you? The answer: it blocks out the sky and sun.
Earlier, from a distance, Xu Ke hadn’t noticed much. But now, up close, he could sll the unpleasant odor emanating from the man—a mix of sweaty stench and body odor. It was quite unbearable.
This made Xu Ke change his original intention of throwing a punch to a kick, as he didn’t want any more contact with him. In fact, if there were a suitable weapon around, he wouldn’t even want to use his feet.
He really wondered how the people around him could stand his sll. It was just too pungent.
Various complaints and sarcastic remarks floated through Xu Ke’s mind, although in action, his speed and force were not lacking.
The man got kicked in the abdon by Xu Ke. With that much force, which should have sent a grown adult flying, he only staggered back two steps.
The man spat on the ground, "Didn’t expect that, did you? You look skinny as a monkey but pack quite a punch, able to make take two steps back. You should be proud. But your pride ends here, because I won’t hold back anymore," the man said, patting where Xu Ke had kicked him, his grin sinister.
"Do you need so many words to fight? Or do you fight with your mouth? Can you move faster? I don’t have much ti to waste with you here. I’m hungry and want to eat." Xu Ke’s gaze drifted to the street lined with snack shops, a hint of impatience in his expression.
This complete disregard for the man utterly infuriated him and made the onlookers’ hearts race with tension.
After all these years, no one dared to provoke the man like this. Suddenly, soone was pulling the tiger’s whiskers, how could anyone not be excited?
The more business-savvy vendors had already started selling sunflower seeds and drinks, and there were quite a few buyers.
Everyone watched the two in the field with anticipation. Although they knew Xu Ke couldn’t win, they admired his courage to confront Brother Wu head-on.
Although people called this courage "a newborn calf not afraid of the tiger," who cares, as long as there’s a show to watch.
Back in the field, Xu Ke’s attitude clearly showed he didn’t consider the man worthy of notice. Always flattered, Brother Wu, for the first ti, was treated with such disrespect, a spark in his heart blazed into a fire.
"I originally just wanted to break one of your arms or legs, but now it seems too lenient. I’ve changed my mind. I want you to crawl out of this street on your chin." Brother Wu shook his fat, his malice toward Xu Ke undisguised.
"Stop with the harsh words. Why don’t you just do what you want? Hurry up. Don’t you know you stink? I don’t want to be near you any second longer," Xu Ke pinched his nose funnily and rolled his eyes, expressing his disdain vividly.
The man’s face flushed bright red at Xu Ke’s words.
When a person gets fat, they inevitably have so sll, especially in hot weather when a fat person sweats more, carrying a sour sweat scent. But the man was different. Besides the sour sweat sll, he also had body odor. Combined, the stench was as potent as stinky tofu.
But because of his high combat power, many, though unable to accept it, dared not speak out. Only Xu Ke expressed his disdain to his face, stabbing at his lungs with every word.
"Damn!" The man growled lowly, his eyes bloodshot as he looked at Xu Ke, and the next second he charged at Xu Ke like a raging bull, bringing wind and rain.
When the man fought, he didn’t use many moves, usually winning with his weight, and this ti was no exception.
He wanted to crush Xu Ke under his body, pin him like a turtle unable to turn over, exposing his belly, and publicly break his arms and legs bit by bit in agony and howls.
He wanted to show everyone that Brother Wu’s authority could not be challenged, and people should know what to say and what not to say.
He wanted to use brutal tactics to deal with this kid, to show him the harsh realities of the world, to make him shiver at the sound of his na, to crawl at the sight of him, and to show Jingjing that no man besides him was worthy of her trust for life.
The man’s fantasies were beautiful, but reality is often cruel.
Facing Brother Wu’s attack, Xu Ke stood still with no intention of dodging, making the spectators both tense and excited, with a hint of pity for Xu Ke.
They couldn’t bear to see Xu Ke in tears from a beating, yet couldn’t resist wanting to watch the two fight it out.
Xu Ke didn’t care what they thought; he just wanted this stinky man to get away from him. Another whiff of the stench might ruin his appetite altogether.
So the much-anticipated scene of Xu Ke in tears didn’t happen, nor did Brother Wu’s imaginations co true. Xu Ke’s sweeping kick shattered it all into smoke and dust.
This ti, Xu Ke learned from his previous mistake and didn’t kick the man’s fleshy abdon but aid straight at his head.
When Xu Ke’s sweeping kick landed, the fat on Brother Wu’s face shook incessantly, like waves across a wheat field blown by the wind.
Though the waves of wheat are charming, the waves of fat on the man’s face were revolting, useless beyond ruining appetites and aesthetics.
This kick, Xu Ke put a lot of strength into, ensuring that while the man wouldn’t die, he wouldn’t be getting up again.
The man’s head took Xu Ke’s kick, his advance ca to a halt, and he looked at Xu Ke with intense disbelief, "You!"
Only managing to squeeze out that one word, the man fell to the ground without warning, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Brother Wu’s lackeys, who ca with him to show off, watched in terror as their greatest support fell. They looked at Xu Ke with fear.
"Mur-murder! You killed Brother Wu!" soone pointed at Xu Ke’s face, trembling as he spoke.
"Don’t slander ! I’m a law-abiding citizen. Your Brother Wu at most has a concussion; he’s not dead."
Xu Ke glanced at the lackey, causing him to shiver, his knees buckling as if ready to kneel at any mont.
"Hurry up and get him out of here. Don’t block my view." Xu Ke glanced at Brother Wu lying on the ground, expressing his impatience.
This big lump of at splayed on the road was indeed a nuisance, Xu Ke thought expressionlessly.
A lackey tentatively took a step forward, and seeing Xu Ke not making a move, sighed in relief, signaling the others to help lift Brother Wu.
Nobody knew exactly how heavy Brother Wu was, but several young lackeys, each red-faced, barely managed to lift Brother Wu and withdrew from the crowd.
