"Help !" The woman looked at Xu Ke, his hat obscuring his face. She couldn’t see his expressions clearly, but that didn’t stop her from pleading with him. Never mind her age, if these punks took advantage of her, how could she face living on? Besides, she harbored a secret—a secret she intended to take to her grave, one that absolutely no one could discover.

"Stop shouting. Look at his scrawny fra. You’d be better off hoping we suddenly grow a conscience and let you go rather than expecting him to save you." The leader of the group laughed as he watched the woman cry and plead with Xu Ke, his expression remarkably punchable and sinister.

"Didn’t you hear ? I told you to let her go." Xu Ke said, looking at the man who once again ignored him and was talking to himself.

"Stop acting out of place. While I’m in a good mood, if you kowtow to twice, I’ll pretend nothing happened and let you walk out of this alley. You wouldn’t want to be crawling out like a beaten dog, would you?" The leader arrogantly threatened.

"Sigh." Xu Ke let out a long sigh.

"Why can’t you appreciate it when spoken to nicely? Why do you only realize it’s too late when I have to use force?" Xu Ke said as he rolled up his sleeves.

"You want to kneel and beg? You’re dreaming." Xu Ke sneered, looking at the leader as if he were trash thrown into a bin.

"Look at you guys, just like trash, but the kind that’s non-recyclable and not worth anything. You’re complete societal parasites. What’s the point in you existing?" Xu Ke asked puzzled.

Xu Ke’s question was so sincere it seed intentional, designed to humiliate them. The thugs’ faces flushed red, unsure if it was from sha or fury.

"If your mouth can’t talk properly, it’s useless. I’ll tear it apart."

As soon as the leader said this, Xu Ke knew that the redness on his face was not from sha but anger. This realization made Xu Ke sigh once more.

"Don’t co at one by one. All at once, to save ti." Xu Ke beckoned to the three of them with his fingers.

"You think it takes three of us to deal with a little stick like you? I’ll handle you by myself. You’re done for." The man said as he lunged at Xu Ke, spreading his arms wide like a sumo wrestler, aiming to use his weight to pin Xu Ke down and secure a victory.

The man charged at Xu Ke, full of confidence, while his two lackeys didn’t even move, watching with amusent, clearly certain that their boss could handle Xu Ke.

But instead of seeing Xu Ke pinned down, defenseless under the man’s weight, they watched in disbelief as their boss flew into the wall like a broken kite and crashed down hard.

The two who had been cheering monts earlier went silent instantly, as if choked, incapable of making any sound.

They were shocked, hardly believing their eyes. They knew their boss’s weight—over two hundred pounds, causing floors to creak and staircases to tremble. How could he be kicked away so easily? It was a real flight, no exaggeration, challenging their understanding of the world.

The woman who had been struggling earlier was equally astonished by Xu Ke’s feat. Her gaze shifted from the man, who lay on the ground unable to move, to Xu Ke, dazed and puzzled as to how soone so frail looking could kick such a massive person to the corner.

"So weak." Xu Ke glanced at the man he had kicked away, then turned his attention to the other two, one as skinny as a stick and the other short like a potato, and impatiently said, "Both of you, co at together. Don’t waste ti coming one by one." Xu Ke beckoned with his fingers.

The two were quiet as quails, exchanging glances but not daring to advance, their feet subtly retreating. If not for their boss, they would have long since vanished.

Lying on the ground, the man blinked stars out of his eyes, finally regaining his senses. He turned, only to find neither of his comrades willing to avenge him, feeling that all his camaraderie was wasted.

"What are you standing there for? Get him!" The man grumbled.

"But, boss, we can’t beat him." The man like a stick said anxiously, trying to appease.

"You haven’t even tried. How do you know? I’m telling you, if you don’t act today, I will, and you can forget about staying in this place." The man threatened effectively.

The threat worked. They looked at each other but dared not escape, closing their eyes and charging at Xu Ke, screaming to pump themselves up.

Their voices were loud but empty threats. Xu Ke needed no great effort to grant them the sa fate as their boss. Compared to their boss, they landed softer, having their comrade to cushion them, whereas their boss had to endure the hot and hard ground.

The man, having just caught his breath, was nearly suffocated under his comrades, his eyes rolling back, only seeing white through slitted eyes.

"Get off now." The man’s voice was a dangerous hiss through clenched teeth, prompting the two on top of him to scramble off with remarkable speed.
