The old drunkard let out a long sigh, his gaze towards the man growing increasingly cold.

"I don’t understand why there’s such a vast difference in our perceptions, but since you refuse to listen to my explanations and insist on harming my family, I’m not going to keep retreating. I knew this day would co between us sooner or later; I just didn’t expect it to be this soon."

"Stop pretending to be all righteous. You ca here today with your n and smashed my door. There’s no peaceful resolution for us today. What you’re saying is utterly aningless and only makes think you’re hypocritical and disgusting," the man said viciously to the old drunkard.

Looking at the man’s expression, the old drunkard thought he might feel upset, but in reality, his heart was untroubled. He even found the man’s expression sowhat unpleasant, an eyesore.

He didn’t attempt to explain anything to the man because it was clear the man would only believe what he wanted to believe. He wouldn’t listen to anyone else, especially when that soone is whom he considered an enemy. He thought sparing his enemy when he first t him was rcy already. How could they expect him to believe their lies?

Yes, in the man’s mind, everything the old drunkard just said was a lie, slandering his father and whitewashing that slut.

"Originally, if you hadn’t co looking for , I was planning to find you anyway; it was just a matter of ti. Since you’ve co today, don’t mind if I accept it." The man said as he sent a ssage on his phone. Just as the sent notification sounded, a group of people appeared outside the gate.

Upon closer look, it was evident these people erged from the man’s neighbors nearby, and they weren’t particularly old, a group that seed battle-ready.

"Brother Xiong, the gang’s all here, what are your orders."

A man walked in, wearing a tank top and floral shorts, with slippers on his feet, exuding a carefree deanor. As he passed by Xu Ke, he even bumped Xu Ke with his shoulder and shot him a provocative look.

"Today, these two ca to my turf to stir up trouble, so I’d trouble you guys to teach them a lesson," the man said loudly, simultaneously casting his gaze upon Xu Ke and continuing, "This guy recently made quite a na for himself in our town; Jin Biao and Scar were both handled by him. Be careful when dealing with him, guys."

The man warned his brothers, but unfortunately, they didn’t take his words seriously at all, given Xu Ke’s appearance was deceivingly unassuming. Especially when they looked at him, Xu Ke was actually sporting a bashful and shy smile, seemingly harmless, making it hard to connect him with his notorious reputation.

The old drunkard had witnessed Xu Ke’s face-changing prowess before; following everyone’s gaze towards Xu Ke, as soon as he saw the expression Xu Ke had, the old drunkard winced, quickly averting his gaze, not wanting to look at Xu Ke any longer.

"Don’t worry, Brother Xiong. Look at him like this, how tough could he be? I’m guessing the rumors outside have blown the facts out of proportion." The man who walked in earlier comnted.

Xu Ke didn’t get angry hearing what the man said. He continued to smile bashfully.

Brother Xiong looked at Xu Ke’s face, coupled with his behavior since entering the yard, causing Brother Xiong to doubt the outside rumors to a certain extent. Now seeing Xu Ke’s expression reinforced his doubts further.

"As long as you guys know what to do, it’s fine. Anyway, these two barged into my yard today and smashed my door; we’ll settle both new and old scores; neither of them will have a good ti today." Brother Xiong looked at the old drunkard, a sinister smile on his face that sent chills down anyone who saw it.

Brother Xiong’s voice was loud enough for everyone, whether standing inside or outside the door, to hear clearly.

Young people naturally have a fla of passion in their blood. Hearing Brother Xiong’s words seed to have injected them with adrenaline, and with a crazed look, they rushed towards Xu Ke and the old drunkard. Seeing Brother Xiong’s gesture to attack, they completely lost control, rushing in from the door like wild dogs unleashed, so headed towards Xu Ke and others towards the old drunkard.

At that mont, the old drunkard felt like he was experiencing a zombie siege. Even though he was ntally prepared, he trembled in fear, finding the sight overwhelming and disconcerting.

However, the old drunkard had quite a bit of experience in group fights, handling the initial moves rather well. But his age was catching up to him; despite having a fighting instinct, his physical strength wasn’t keeping up, eventually landing him in a defensive and beaten-down position after a few forced exchanges.

The sound of punches hitting flesh brought a twisted smile to Brother Xiong’s face.

On the other hand, Xu Ke, whom everyone thought was easy prey, turned out to be like a steel plate; anyone daring to make a move found themselves in more pain as Xu Ke retaliated.

Thus, the ti seed to pass differently, feeling like only a short while had gone by, yet the people who ca to attack Xu Ke were already sprawled out on the ground. The positions they landed in were quite humble and cautious, all keeping a safe distance from the old drunkard’s battle area, afraid of being dragged into it.

Everyone has an innate sense when it cos to risk managent.

Originally, they expected the old drunkard’s side to conclude first, but instead, Xu Ke nonchalantly dusted off his hands, as if there was phantom dust, before walking towards the circle surrounding the old drunkard.

"Could you please make so room?" Xu Ke gently tapped the shoulder of the young man nearest to him and spoke politely.

"Don’t touch , busy here, get in line if you wanna fight." The young man impatiently brushed off the hand on his shoulder, his tone and deanor decidedly unfriendly, but Xu Ke remained unperturbed, patiently reiterating his earlier request.

But it wasn’t Xu Ke who lost his temper; rather, the young man Xu Ke had tapped on the shoulder beca agitated. He should have been relieved there was no spring under his feet, considering his jumping deanor. If there had been a spring installed, he might have bounced out of the yard in a few seconds, unsure where he’d end up landing.
