Although Xu Ke’s face bore a smile, Brother Qian felt that Xu Ke was more dangerous at this mont than ever.

Brother Qian gritted his teeth, his eyes darkened instantly, and the next mont he thrust the knife towards Xu Ke, convinced that striking first would give him the upper hand. Xu Ke hadn’t expected him to attack suddenly, so he would definitely get injured. He stared fiercely at Xu Ke, but the next mont he was disappointed.

Xu Ke remained firmly seated on the sofa, while Brother Qian was sent flying backward, only stopping when he slamd hard against the wall.

Seeing Brother Qian’s incredulous expression, Xu Ke smiled again, "I don’t know who gave you the illusion that holding a weapon makes you capable of defeating ." Xu Ke shook his head, his eyes mocking as he looked at Brother Qian, "Don’t even ntion the knife you brought today, even if you had brought a gun, you wouldn’t defeat because you are simply too weak."

Staring at Xu Ke’s eyes and listening to his words, Brother Qian felt as if he had a mouthful of old blood stuck in his throat, neither going up nor down, and his gaze showed not only killing intent but also a hint of vigilance.

He struggled to climb up from the ground, spat forcefully on the ground, spitting out bloody phlegm, which made him feel much better.

At this mont, he was not thinking about persuading Xu Ke to give up the fight. He had said everything he could say before, and since Xu Ke disagreed then, he didn’t expect Xu Ke to agree now.

His eyes were fixed tightly on Xu Ke’s every move, scanning Xu Ke from head to toe, trying to find any weakness.

Xu Ke sat on the sofa, cross-legged, openly allowing Brother Qian to observe without embarrassnt. He didn’t regard Brother Qian’s gaze as offensive this ti, rather he found it quite interesting.

Brother Qian stared at Xu Ke with the knife in hand for quite a while without discerning anything useful and then charged with his knife again, ending in the sa result, even hitting the sa wall spot.

Xu Ke withdrew his leg, watching Brother Qian struggle to rise from the floor and charge at him again.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

The sound of a body hitting the ground followed one after another; Brother Qian chanically charged at Xu Ke countless tis, and Xu Ke didn’t count how many tis he kicked him down. Finally, Brother Qian opened his mouth and vomited a mouthful of blood, once again crawling up like a zombie, Xu Ke finally looked at him.

"You are very perseverant, rarely do I see such, but just perseverance isn’t enough, you need matching strength, otherwise you just experience more failures than others. Am I right?" Xu Ke finally decided to stand up from the sofa.

Not only did he stand, he walked toward Brother Qian. This was the closest Brother Qian had been to Xu Ke.

"Originally, we could have coexisted peacefully, but why did you insist on provoking ? If you hadn’t provoked , you wouldn’t have to endure all this now. Isn’t this your self-inflicted suffering?" Xu Ke said, looking into Brother Qian’s eyes.

Brother Qian’s lips moved a few tis, yet no sound ca out.

"What are you saying?" Xu Ke asked.

Brother Qian’s lips moved again, still no sound was audible, so Xu Ke leaned closer, bending his waist slightly, but could only hear so movent, no concrete words. He moved his head even closer to Brother Qian.

At this mont, Brother Qian, who was previously seemingly lifeless, suddenly held a fruit knife, his eyes fierce, using all his strength to stab it toward Xu Ke’s neck. He revealed a slight grin as he looked at Xu Ke, as if saying Xu Ke was finished.

However, at this critical juncture, Xu Ke’s face showed no sign of panic; instead, he smiled.

In the next second, Brother Qian’s fruit knife was grabbed by Xu Ke; the sleek knife glinted coldly as Xu Ke toyed with it between his fingers. Xu Ke looked down at Brother Qian, hearing him shout, "Give the knife back, hurry and return it!"

"Want the knife back? It’s not impossible. Co and grab it, take it from ." Xu Ke said with a smile, watching Brother Qian struggle on the ground, deliberately swinging the knife in front of him, taunting him like teasing a dog.

Brother Qian reached for it twice but Xu Ke dodged him, realizing their positions and how he had just been played.

He looked at Xu Ke, his face ashen, eyes filled with hatred.

"You actually toyed with , don’t you feel it’s excessive?" Brother Qian gritted, looking at Xu Ke.

"Excessive? Isn’t this what you taught today? Besides, this is just the beginning. I haven’t finished what I set out to do, are you ready?"

Seeing Xu Ke turning serious, an unsettling feeling engulfed Brother Qian, causing him to involuntarily shiver.

"What do you want to do? I warn you not to act recklessly, don’t do anything rash." Brother Qian trembled and pleaded, retreating backward.

Xu Ke watched his retreat without stopping him, knowing he couldn’t escape his grasp.

"I’ve ntioned, I dislike the way you look at ; so I’m removing the source of that vexation." Xu Ke said, raising the fruit knife, examining it carefully, then said, "This fruit knife is quite nice, looks sharp enough, so it shouldn’t be too painful for you."

Realizing Xu Ke’s intent, Brother Qian could only shake his head desperately while retreating, pleading, promising never to dare again, vowing he wouldn’t retaliate against Xu Ke, even wanting to exchange his entire fortune for his life.

But disappointnt awaited him as Xu Ke shook his head, looking at him, eyes innocent before saying, "Unfortunately, I’m not interested in your money."

Crimson blood splattered accompanied by the man’s wails, the warm blood sprayed onto Xu Ke’s face and clothing, prompting Xu Ke to glance down and express satisfaction, "I knew black attire was more stain-resistant, now it’s proven true." Xu Ke muttered softly, continuing with his task.

The night was supposed to be long, but they wasted too much ti on unnecessary matters, greatly reducing Xu Ke’s entertainnt ti. However, he was pleased with the outco, Xu Ke thought with a slight smile.
