In He Chen’s mind, he anticipated that once he exposed the true nature of Xu Ke, Xu Ke should feel scared, should feel fear, rather than standing before him now, calm and composed, with an open and honest deanor.
"Honestly, I never thought of you as a fool, nor did I believe I was much smarter than anyone else, so I don’t quite understand what you’re saying. I don’t know what I’ve done to make you misunderstand, prompting you to personally co back and ask to leave. But in everything I do, I act openly and honestly, and I’ve never done anything against my conscience, so I won’t leave. Even if the He family really wants to drive away, I won’t leave until the very last mont." Xu Ke looked at He Chen with a determined gaze, speaking earnestly and seriously.
Seeing Xu Ke’s deanor, He Chen couldn’t help but question whether his previous suspicions were just overthinking.
But regardless of whether Xu Ke had done anything or not, he absolutely could not allow his beloved sister to fall for soone like him. How could a re lobby manager be worthy of his sister?

"I’ve never thought that, just like I’ve never thought about you two repaying . What I do is my own business, as long as I can face myself with a clear conscience, other people’s affairs are none of my concern." Xu Ke answered, observing He Chen’s expression.
"What do you an by that? Are you implying sothing about ?" He Chen’s expression grew darker as he listened to Xu Ke’s words.
"I didn’t an to imply anything about anyone." Xu Ke shook his head.
"No matter if you were implying sothing about or how you view , I don’t care. I’m just here to inform you that you have to leave Ning City. I don’t care where you go or where you work, but don’t let see you again, and especially don’t let my sister run into you, or I won’t let you off. Don’t even think that by hooking up with my sister, you can enter the He family or high society. As long as I’m here, that will never happen." He Chen coldly and cruelly stated, looking at Xu Ke.
Upon hearing He Chen’s words, Xu Ke was montarily stunned, then a resigned yet understanding smile appeared in his eyes.
"So that’s why you’ve suddenly co to say all this, because of your sister. I can clearly tell you, I have no unfounded intentions towards your sister, we’ve maintained a normal male-female relationship, and I haven’t done anything beyond normal boundaries." Xu Ke said seriously looking at He Chen.
"I certainly know you haven’t done that, otherwise, do you think you could still be standing here talking to ?"
"Since you know there’s nothing between us, why insist on driving away? I assure you, starting today, I won’t actively seek out your sister, won’t talk to her, won’t go near her. Is that enough?"
Xu Ke’s calm and straightforward attitude did nothing to comfort He Chen, rather it made him even angrier.
"What do you an by that? Do you think my sister’s been throwing herself at you? Or do you feel like my sister seeking you causes you grievance? What does that attitude of avoiding her an?"
He Chen was conflicted. On one hand, he didn’t want his sister to be with Xu Ke, but when Xu Ke showed that he wanted to distance himself from his sister, He Chen felt infuriated, feeling Xu Ke was looking down on his sister.
In short, whatever Xu Ke did was wrong in He Chen’s eyes, leaving Xu Ke speechless.
"I didn’t an it that way. Isn’t it you who wants to stay away from you all? Didn’t I just say what you wanted? Did I say sothing wrong just now?" Xu Ke looked at He Chen with genuine confusion and innocence.
He Chen knew he was being a bit unreasonable. Yet he just couldn’t control himself.
He didn’t even know what he actually wanted right now, feeling extrely irritable inside.
Facing his sister’s first romantic interest, the usually mature and steady He Chen showed immaturity and panic, almost behaving unlike himself.
"Don’t talk to about all this nonsense, I’m not interested. You have three days. If I still see you here after that, don’t bla for being ruthless." He Chen said, looking at Xu Ke.
Xu Ke frowned, neither side willing to yield, bringing this negotiation to a complete breakdown.
"Don’t think just because you helped my sister and , I wouldn’t dare to do anything to you. Don’t think of as too kind." He Chen said quietly looking at Xu Ke’s face.
"Get out, don’t let see you!" He Chen hurled these harsh words but saw Xu Ke remain indifferent, making him feel like a ridiculous clown, and this frustration was nearly suffocating him.
Hearing this, Xu Ke turned and left. From start to finish, the only person angry was He Chen, realizing this made him so furious he ended up smashing up the room.
When Xu Ke heard about He Chen trashing the room, he showed no other expression, calm as if he hadn’t heard anything, making the person who ca to report hesitate whether they had delivered the ssage correctly.
"Manager, our room was smashed." The ssenger repeated.
"I heard. If he smashed it, just have him pay for it. Is this sothing that really needs to instruct you?" Xu Ke glanced at the informant and said.
"The one who smashed things is He Chen, the young master of the He family." The ssenger clarified, worried that Xu Ke might not know who it was.
"And so what? If sothing is broken, it should be paid for, that’s a basic principle. If people with status can co into our club and smash things without compensating, how would Saint Ho stay in business? Go and ask for it, I’ll handle the issue if it cos up." Xu Ke instructed.
