He Qing faced both the man and the woman with full force, and though He Qing wasn’t tall, she displayed an air of dominance that made both grit their teeth.
"You’re simply unreasonable," the man remarked.
"So what? What do you think I said that’s wrong? Point it out." He Qing sneered and said.
Xu Ke stood behind He Qing, watching her fiercely defend him, finding it quite novel; it was truly the first of its kind.
Previously, he always stood before others, shielding against storms. Now, suddenly having soone stand in front of him, shielding him, felt surprisingly nice, almost beautiful.
The man and woman were rebuked by He Qing, and with so many people watching, they felt they couldn’t step down gracefully.
As the two wondered how to resolve the situation, the man noticed Xu Ke’s smirk from behind He Qing, feeling a sudden surge of anger like a buzzing in his head.
"You, hiding behind a woman, letting her speak up for you, don’t you feel ashad? If you’re a man, stand up and face the problem yourself, don’t let others speak for you."
The man’s confrontation was directed toward Xu Ke, his gaze exceptionally sharp, like blades aiming to pierce Xu Ke.
"Ashad? You both interfere without sha, so why should I feel ashad? I haven’t done anything wrong." Xu Ke shrugged and replied indifferently.
