Chapter 1030: In the absence of Idan and Arabel.
There were less than six hours left before the Dungeon Gates opened.
There was a lively discussion within the Kingdom, and of course, many people wanted to participate in this event and try their luck. Despite Arabel’s previous prohibition to leave the Kingdom and help defend the cities, many could not restrain their desire.
Coco attracted special attention by making her first post and video. All the mbers of the Kingdom Guild couldn’t help but recognize the two dancing foxes who served as the main node of the Kingdom’s teleport system.
However, a serious problem arose: all the questions that the Awakened Ones asked were sent to the Guild leadership, but they, in turn, could not find the two leaders.
“Don’t look for them, you won’t find them,” Sierra intervened when Irene, having more or less recovered and received a series of notifications from her system, finally decided to return to the Guild’s business. Together with Yulaya, Nayla and Yara, they went in search of Idan and Arabel, but could not find them.
The most annoying thing was that they didn’t reply to ssages in {Whisper Talisman}.
When Sierra appeared, Yara trembled slightly and tried not to et her eyes, rembering the recent awkward events.
Sierra, on the other hand, was amused by Yara’s reaction. Recently, she had to detain and temporarily imprison in her prison for preventive conversations those who crossed the line and had sexual contact with their Doppelgangers.
Arabel’s assumptions turned out to be correct. Among the detainees were forr mbers of the Red Fox Guild: Nimuka, Uvasha and two twins. Only one Yara remained unsophisticated. Although, as Sierra noticed, she intervened in ti before the other girls could finally break her stubbornness.
“Early in the morning, my sister and Idan hurriedly left sowhere and warned that they would be unavailable in the near future. They said that if important decisions need to be made, the leadership of the Guild passes to you and Arslan,” Sierra explained, handing over the reins to Irene at the sa ti.
“Does anyone know where they went? Even Ned and Bera?” asked Irene.
“No one,” Milica replied, joining the conversation. “Ned is still in the south with Pulsar. And Arabel’s avatar dissipated, returning control back to Bera.”
“The waves of Beasts are still moving, and the threats of attacking cities have not disappeared.”
Irene frowned and began to analyze the situation carefully. She had missed out on a lot due to the effects of her Third Ascension Trial. Before making a decision, she needed to fully understand the current situation.
For the first ti, Idan and Arabel were absent when an important decision had to be made, and Irene almost without hesitation took on the responsibility assigned to her by her brother and sister-in-law.
Fortunately, Milica and Sierra provided her with all the necessary information.
In turn, Irene and the others shared with Sierra and Milica information about the appearance of the Dungeon. Because both won were connected to Limbo, they did not hear the voice of the world, unlike most of the Kingdom’s residents.
“We can’t withdraw the groups and put the cities in danger because of the Dungeon,” Irene firmly decided.
No matter how tempting the chance to receive a unique award was, there was only one, and Irene wasn’t going to call them all off unless she was sure she could win it without risking the lives of innocent people. She would rather give up this reward and save lives.
“If the World itself has decided to announce this, you cannot miss such an event. You should at least get involved and see what’s going on,” Sierra intervened, and Milica supported her.
“The world rarely intervenes, and every ti it does, it’s really sothing unique. Even if you can’t get the award, participating in this event will bring you an invaluable experience.”
“As for the cities, there’s no need to worry. Ned and Pulsar will take care of the south, Lucinda and Esma will take care of the west, Eulalia and Liam will take care of the north, and Nemo and Lina will take care of the east. If you want, you can go to the dungeon,” Milica suggested.
“But even so, without my brother and sister-in-law, as well as the others, we can hardly do anything. Considering that probably all the strongest in the world will gather there, we won’t have any chance.” Irene quickly shook her head.
“I wouldn’t say that,” Sierra said, drawing everyone’s attention to herself. “It seems to that Sis and Idan were aware of the upcoming events and they took the necessary asures before leaving.”
Her words aroused even more interest.
Suddenly, a little girl with a tiara on her head, long black hair, and four arms appeared next to Sierra. At first, she looked confused, but when she saw Sierra, she imdiately smiled.
“Take Prina with you, and as long as she’s with you, no one will dare to cast a sidelong glance at the Kingdom,” Sierra said with a slight grin.
“Should I take Prina with ?”— Irene blinked in disbelief. “Don’t tell that brother and sister—in-law…”
“Yes,” Sierra nodded. “Before they left, they brought her from Limbo to Earth.”
Irene lit up with excitent. Few people knew Prina’s true identity, but Irene was one of those who knew her background.
“A Rank 6 creature of Darkness!” exclaid Irene in her mind.
With such strong support, she was confident of success and agreed with Sierra’s words that there was hardly a force capable of encroaching on the Kingdom in her presence.
Especially considering that Prina, unlike other Creatures from other worlds, has been under the command of the Legendary Dark Valkyrie, a Creature of rank 8, for quite a long ti and is learning from her understanding of the elents of Darkness, which makes her even more dangerous and powerful.
“At least with this, we can demonstrate not only to the Guild mbers, but also to other forces that the Kingdom is worth considering and that we are not afraid.”
Thanks to Prina, Irene finally felt confident and freed from the fear that her previous cautious actions could harm the Guild’s reputation.
If they hadn’t gone to the dungeon, many Awakened Ones inside the Guild might really have thought that this was a sign of weakness, indecision, or even fear. Not to ntion other forces that could react even more harshly.
Good intentions are rarely rembered as well as a single mistake. One miscalculation can cancel out dozens of correct decisions in the eyes of others, especially if we are talking about a strong organization from which everyone expects confidence and leadership.
Irene extracted the {Whisper Talisman} and wrote in the general chat that Idan and Arabel were missing, and also announced her decision to participate in the upcoming event and invited everyone to join her.
The news quickly spread throughout the Kingdom and beyond.
There were many people who wanted to, including the Beasts that lived in the Kingdom.
Before six hours were up, a large group from the Kingdom, led by Irene and the returned Arslan, went to the entrance to the Dungeon.
