"Felicia?" Arabel’s mood, already spoiled by the unexpected call, beca even worse when she heard the na of this fox. "What is she doing here?"
"I don’t know," Idan replied. "The employee who called said that Felicia first found out from them where we were staying, and then, without listening to their requests, went straight here to us."
"Hmm!" Arabel snorted with displeasure, expressing her dissatisfaction with the work of the hotel staff, who let anyone through.
"Well, let’s get ready to et our guest and find out what she wants," Idan said, putting on the Ghost mask and activating his bracelet. This ti he appeared in leather boots, black trousers and a white shirt with an unbuttoned collar.
Arabel followed suit, also wearing a Ghost mask and activating her bracelet. Her look was complented by long-laced boots, tight black trousers and a black fitted shirt.
Soon, there was a knock on their room door.
"Dan, wait here in the living room," Arabel said. "I’ll et her myself."
Idan, seeing how determined and unyielding Arabel’s gaze was, realized that she would not accept other answers. He nodded and calmly sat down on the sofa, simultaneously deactivating the Sphere of Secret Concealnt and putting it into his spatial ring.
Arabel went to greet the unwanted guest, and Coco, wagging her tail, followed her.
As Arabel walked slowly towards the door, the knocking beca more and more insistent.
"Who is it so early?" — Hailey looked out of her room, her hair in disarray and her eyes squinting sleepily. Suddenly, her nostrils flared, catching a pleasant scent.
"Your guild leader has co," Idan replied calmly, considering that Hailey has not yet officially left the Red Fox Guild.
"Felicia?" asked Hailey.
"Yes, that’s her," Idan confird, and Hailey hurriedly disappeared through the door, slamming it shut.
Arabel went to the door, opened it, and when she saw who was standing behind her, she froze in place.
"Eh? What the hell!" she exclaid, startled by Felicia’s appearance.
Instead of a confident beauty with long red hair and matching eyes, with a curvy figure and a flirtatious smile, there was an emaciated woman standing in front of her.
Her hair was in disarray and looked damaged, and so of it had turned gray. Her eyes were red, as if she was out of her mind, and there were blue bags under her eyes. When the door opened, she trembled and jumped, eting Arabel’s serious gaze like a frightened cat.
After seeing Felicia’s deplorable condition, Arabel involuntarily returned to her usual state. Her irritation and discontent seed to have disappeared.
"What... What have you done to ?" ca a trembling accusatory question from Felicia’s mouth. She did not dare to look up at Arabel, her body was trembling, and her gaze was lowered.
"What curse have you put on ?" she continued.
"Why would you do that? What for? Why?"
"Why is that? Aaah... Those eyes... Those eyes again..."
"What are you talking about, woman?" Arabel asked a counter question, wondering why Felicia was accusing them of sothing they hadn’t done and at the sa ti saying sothing stupid.
At that mont, Coco appeared behind Arabel. She peeked out from behind Arabel’s leg and saw Felicia. Her eyes sparkled, and a smile appeared on her face.
Felicia, who had started muttering sothing, suddenly felt sothing and abruptly raised her head. Her gaze t with two small eyes that had been bothering her since yesterday.
They were everywhere she went, never letting her forget about them for a second. But the most terrible thing was that every ti she tried to look into those eyes, everything inside her seed to mix and twist, and her condition beca worse and worse.
She turned to several people she trusted for help, but none of them could help, nor did they understand what the problem really was.
Even Felicia’s own system was at a loss. Although it had so suspicions, it denied the possibility. The System stated that if this was true, then its Host would be the most unfortunate choice of all the possible ones that it made.
After spending a sleepless night in agony, Felicia ca looking for the couple she was having these problems with. She wanted to ask them for forgiveness and get rid of this scourge.
Felicia was on the verge of despair.
And so, when she saw those eyes again, sothing inside her snapped. Rolling her eyes, as if she had cut the invisible threads that held her, she collapsed to the floor in front of the astonished Arabel.
"What the..." Arabel muttered, unable to understand what was going on.
"What’s going on with this woman?" she asked, looking at the unconscious Felicia. Looking up, she noticed several other hotel guests, who, having opened the doors, were curiously watching what was happening.
Arabel asked, and they all slamd the doors at the sa ti, fearing that she might do sothing wrong to them, as she had already done to Felicia.
When she saw Arabel, she nodded with satisfaction and turned her gaze back to Felicia.
"Hey!" — Arabel called out, assuming Felicia was faking it.
As she got closer, she even kicked her lightly a couple of tis, but she didn’t get any reaction.
While Arabel was trying to figure out what was going on with this woman, she heard a familiar raspy laugh.
Turning her head and looking down, she saw Coco, who was bursting into laughter, looking at Felicia.
When Arabel saw Coco laughing, she rembered yesterday and how Felicia’s behavior had suddenly changed. It happened just before Coco returned from scouting.
"Is this your doing?" she asked bluntly. Coco stopped laughing, looked at her, and tilted her head to the side, as if asking: "What are you talking about?"
Arabel did not believe this cunning fox and began to suspect that it was the work of this little rascal.
Sighing, Arabel used the elent of darkness and, manipulating her hair, which had changed from purple to black, tied Felicia up and, lifting her slightly, dragged her along.
Coco followed her with a sly and joyful smile.
Arabel entered the living room and dropped Felicia to the floor with a thud.
"Felicia!" exclaid Hailey, who was already in the living room, dressed, and waiting for Arabel to return.
Idan didn’t get up, just glanced at Felicia and then at Arabel.
"Would you believe if I said I didn’t do anything and she fainted on her own?" asked Arabel with an awkward smile.
