Chapter 569: End of the candlelit dinner and return
Idan and Arabel couldn’t be mistaken: what they were holding in their hands was a source of fire and ice, and their Spirit Forms proved it. However, these two sources were slightly different from the ones they had used before, and so far they could not figure out exactly what the difference was.
“Well, I think it’s ti for us to say goodbye,” the young man said. “You can enjoy the evening a little more, and then the staff will co up to you and take you to the relaxation rooms, then you can return to your world.”
After putting away the gifts and putting them away in the spatial rings, Idan and Arabel turned their gazes to the Host of the “Supre Chef System” and his wife.
“Thank you so much for this wonderful evening and for your gift,” Idan thanked, and Arabel joined him, also expressing her gratitude.
For her, this evening was the most vivid and morable event in her entire 18 years of life at the mont.
The guy smiled at them, as did his wife.
Then he turned around and started to leave, but stopped halfway and turned to the couple.
“I’ve been thinking,” he said. “When you decide to hold your own ceremony in the future and you have enough System Points, you can contact . My wife and I will be glad to beco your chefs on this significant day for a “symbolic” price.”
With that, he and his wife disappeared, leaving Idan and Arabel staring after them in surprise.
The opportunity to invite one of the best chefs was, of course, a real gift for Idan and Arabel. They looked at each other and realized that their thoughts were the sa.
How could you refuse such an offer when the Host himself offered his service?
When the Owner of the place left them, Idan and Arabel returned to the table and sat down next to each other, waiting for the evening to end in each other’s company.
Soon, as the Host of the “Supre Chef System” had said, two young girls in staff clothes approached them and asked them to follow them.
Back in the familiar hallway, they turned around to take another look at that amazing room.
The staff did not rush them, showing professionalism, but it was noticeable that they were also smiling.
“Would you like to change your clothes and tidy up before returning?” one of the girls asked Arabel as they approached the break room.
“Yes, that would be great,” Arabel said after a mont’s thought.
“Okay, follow ,” the girl asked, leading Arabel into a small room of her own.
“And you, sir? Would you like to change your clothes?” the remaining girl turned to Idan, and he shook his head negatively.
In response, he heard a sigh of disappointnt from the girl. When he looked at her, he saw nothing but a professional smile on her face.
When Arabel returned, already dressed in a uniform, like Idan, they were taken to the circular room where they had appeared. The middle-aged man with white hair who t them last ti was waiting for them there.
“Over here, dear guests,” the man called to Idan and Arabel, pointing to the center of the circle.
“It was a great honor for to et you,” he said, addressing Idan and Arabel after they stood in the center of the circle.
“I hope you will beco our guest more than once in the future,” he added, and at that mont the circle under Idan and Arabel’s feet shone, and the space around them suddenly lost its colors.
Then, the space around them cracked like glass and began to crumble, revealing the Kingdom’s space to them.
Both returned to the very place inside the Kingdom from where they had disappeared.
The artificial sky was already shining with artificial stars. Although it was the middle of the night, there was a lot of activity inside the Kingdom.
The doppelgangers enthusiastically built houses in the center of the Kingdom, and during the absence of Idan and Arabel, their efforts had made significant progress.
“The System wasn’t lying when it said there would be no ti difference,” Arabel whispered.
“Yes, it looks like the sa amount of ti has passed here as we spent in this Gourt’s Secret Garden,” Idan agreed.
They stood for a while longer, rembering the incredible “Candlelit Dinner” that surpassed all their expectations.
None of them could have imagined that by going there, they would et other Hosts of the Supre Systems and receive valuable gifts from them.
Just before they left, Idan regretted that they had only 43 System Points left. However, upon returning, the number of System Points increased by 22000!
In Arabel’s opinion, she spent the most luxurious and expensive spa evening. She didn’t even try to imagine how many System Points all these procedures would cost, which included a bath, massage, hair, skin and nail care, as well as a gorgeous outfit.
For Idan, a guy who grew up in an ordinary family and didn’t have many friends, let alone a girlfriend, this evening was a real celebration. His feelings for Arabel had only strengthened, and he was very happy to spend the evening with her.
For Arabel, this evening was like a dream co true. When she was a little girl and read or watched romantic stories, she always dread of such an evening. And now her childhood dreams have co true.
While Arabel was still under the impression of the previous evening, she unexpectedly received a ssage from Bera through a contract connection, which was restored imdiately after her appearance.
She quickly regained her senses and used her power to check out the Kingdom. Indeed, Irene and Arslan were nowhere to be seen, although they had been spending all their ti here lately. Even Felicia wasn’t there.
Arabel turned to Idan and sighed.:
“Dan, sothing serious happened while we were away.”
Idan’s expression imdiately changed from relaxed to focused.
“What happened?” he asked.
“The Eye of the Web contacted Yulaya and Hazel, looking for us, the Kingdom’s Guild mbers, on behalf of one of the mysterious ard group in black, and set up a eting,” Arabel replied.
“Irene and the others are currently negotiating with these people on our behalf, and it looks like this is a serious matter,” she added.
I would like to express my gratitude to those who give gifts, power stones and golden tickets. Your support allows to stay motivated and continue working on the book.
