“What’s going on here?” asked Idan when he finished sending Arabel a ssage through the Lovers’ Plate, in which he shared all his discoveries, and entered the training ground of the Awakened Association.
He ca here in search of Nico and his group, who, as Idan found out, went here after registration. However, despite the late hour, Idan saw that a crowd of people had gathered on the training ground, and four young n were lying on the ground, seriously injured.
Idan wasn’t alone. Irina and Samuel were with him.
Irina decided to walk Idan to the exit to make sure he didn’t do anything. But looking at the crowd and what happened to the people Idan ca with, her face imdiately beca gloomy.
That’s exactly what she wanted to avoid.
“Didn’t I tell you to be careful?” asked Idan, approaching Nico and the others.
The appearance of Idan, Irina, and Samuel imdiately attracted everyone’s attention. Everyone noticed his uniform and the Kingdom Guild emblem.
“Heh, so you’re the one who brought these weaklings here?” a blond-haired guy at the front of the crowd said with a grin. He even cast a contemptuous glance at Irina and Samuel.
Idan did not respond to his words and imdiately applied the Eye of identification.

After checking the information, Idan glanced at Irina, and she nodded slightly.
“Mr. Ignis…” one of the two girls from Nico’s group called out, intending to explain the situation.
“Don’t worry, I roughly understand what happened,” Idan stopped her and added, “Take care of them.”
Idan looked around the crowd once more and, to his surprise, noticed Iona among them.
“Belle said that she refused to join our guild, preferring to stay in the Association,” Idan recalled and, quickly looking away, turned his attention to the young man.
The guy was handso, and it was no surprise that there were more girls than boys among the crowd.
“Yes, I brought them,” Idan replied.
“Heh,” — Lute chuckled. “Tell , is everyone in your Guild as weak as them?”
Idan understood that the guy was trying to provoke him, but he didn’t need it.
Lute, like everyone else here, had a Golden Rank. The ordinary Golden rank. He was not a Platinum or Diamond Ranked being. And with such an ordinary Golden Rank, he dared to provoke him?
Idan stood straight, hands in his pockets, and looked at Lute.
Lute grinned back, until suddenly an invisible force grabbed him by the throat and pulled him towards Idan.
Everyone was caught off guard.
Lute tried to resist, but to no avail, and fell face-first in front of Idan’s feet with a crash.
Idan calmly looked down at Lute and then just stepped on his head.
From the very beginning, Idan did not like the Creatures of Light. However, he decided not to co into conflict with them because of the approaching Third Disaster. Unlike the Creatures of Darkness, they did not cause serious harm to humanity.
Instead, they helped ordinary mortals improve, increasing the chance of surviving Disasters, especially since they were closely associated with the Association and the Federation.
However, it seems that the other party misunderstood their actions and considered their Guild to be a re paper tiger, since they decided to act against them.
Since they had taken the first step, Idan was no longer going to try to establish a relationship and adjust to the situation.
“Repeat what you just said, I didn’t hear,” — Idan said, increasing the pressure on Lute’s head.
“Aaaaaa,” — Lute scread in pain.
“Stop!” a loud shout rang out, and another handso young man appeared in the training room.
Idan just smiled at him. He increased his power, and Lute’s screams beca even louder. At the sa ti, Idan was using his Eye of identification.

Due to random information, Idan’s assessnt of the newcor dropped dramatically.
“Let him go!” demanded Cael. “Do you even know who he is?”
Most of the people present looked at Idan with indignation because of what he had done to Lute. However, there were those who rejoiced at the guy’s misfortune.
“I know,” Idan surprised everyone with his confession. But his next words silenced everyone.
“I know that he has too high an opinion of himself and that he doesn’t have a good upbringing.”
“But it’s not for you to educate and punish him for his actions,” said Cael.
“Really? If not , then who?” — Idan wasn’t going to just let go of a Creature of Light that had fallen into his hands so easily.
Cael could clearly see that Idan had no intention of letting Lute go.
“What do you want?” he asked Idan.
“I demand that he apologize to my people, kneeling down. I also want you to give the promised two Rank 5 artifacts and one Rank 4 artifact. And finally, I want him to fight in a one-on-one duel,” that’s how Idan formulated his conditions.
Cael’s face imdiately darkened, while Irina almost laughed out loud.
The others were completely shocked by Idan’s demand, even Nico’s group couldn’t believe what they had heard.
“Although… I don’t think he’ll do,” Idan said, shaking his head. He looked at Lute, who was lying at his feet.
“He’s too weak. How about you take his place and fight ?” Idan asked Cael.
Cael’s face was gloomy, but suddenly, his eyes widened, and an expression of excitent appeared on him.
“Okay, I agree,” he surprised Idan with his unexpected agreent.
“But I have conditions,” he added.
Idan glanced at Irina, and she shook her head, as if confirming that she was not the reason for this decision.
“Ah ha ha ha, that’s how it is,” — Idan laughed, realizing that an even bigger fish had been caught in his net.
“What are the conditions?” Idan asked.
“It’s very simple: I demand a duel to the death. Only one of us will co out alive,” Cael said with a smile, not doubting his own strength.
Everyone around them fell into silence, and the smile on Idan’s face disappeared. Although inside he was delighted with this condition, outwardly he tried to remain unperturbed.
“Are you scared?” asked Cael.
“Don’t worry. If you win, you will receive the promised artifacts,” he added to attract Idan’s attention and persuade him to agree.
“Okay, but I want Miss Irina to be the judge of our fight,” Idan said, turning his gaze to Irina at the sa ti.
“I agree,” Irina replied without hesitation.
“I don’t mind either,” said Сael.
Soon, even more people gathered at the training ground, attracted by what was happening.
Idan released Lute as soon as he obediently knelt in front of Nico and the others and, gritting his teeth, apologized with great reluctance.
His eyes were blazing with rage, and Idan and Nico didn’t have to wonder if he would avenge his humiliation in the future. It was written all over his face.
However, despite this, Idan released him and then glanced at Nico and the others, and they understood what he wanted from them.
“Beco stronger,” everyone ntally said, watching the departing Lute.
“Do you have any relatives or close people?” Idan asked Nico’s group.
Half of them no longer had anyone close to them, but Nico and the two girls had relatives who followed them to the capital from the Northern City.
“Ask them to move into the Guild branch building tomorrow,” Idan suggested, taking precautions.
They nodded understandingly, realizing the seriousness of the situation.
Before the start of the scheduled duel, Idan noticed a familiar figure among the crowd. When he saw her, he frowned and, out of habit, used the Eye of Identification.
