Ivette, who had thought her older sister was dead for almost 20 years and had even seen her body, could not believe that her sister was standing in front of her alive.

Ivette knew how secretive Adrian was, and realized that her sister’s fake death was orchestrated by him and that the corpse she saw was not her sister’s corpse.
Therefore, she did not ask this question, but decided to find out why her older sister had made such a decision.
"Why is that? Why did you decide to leave your son?" — without waiting for her sister’s answer, Ivette continued to ask the question.
Inessa, who was trying to collect her thoughts and figure out how to explain everything to her sister, after hearing this question, forgot about everything she had thought before.
"What?" she blurted out. "What did you just say?"
"I asked why you decided to abandon your newborn son," Ivette repeated. "Were you so obsessed with Adrian that he turned out to be more important than your son?"
"No, no, no," Inessa began to deny, not accepting her sister’s words. "My son is dead; I didn’t leave him."
"Is your son dead?" — this ti Ivette herself was surprised to hear such a statent from her sister.
"Yes, Adrian assured that our son died in childbirth..." Inessa replied, and her words faltered slightly.
There was a short silence after that. Ivette, seeing the shock and panic on her sister’s face, took a deep breath.
"Adrian lied to you, Sister," she said. "Your son survived then and grew up to be a wonderful young man."
"No, no, no," — Inessa continued to deny. "Adrian couldn’t do this to and our son."
"Hmm," — Ivette chuckled. "Trust , Sister, he could. You know how handso, charming, secretive, and mysterious he was."
Ivette was montarily lost in mories of the tis when they were young, naive and amorous.
At that ti, there were five people in their company: Ivette, her older sister Inessa, Adam, Adrian, and a third guy who was a mutual friend for all four of them.
The relationship in the group was quite unusual. Both sisters, Ivette and Inessa, liked Adrian. He stood out from the rest of the guys with his charm, manners and mystery. Little was known about his past, and he himself created an atmosphere of mystery that attracted their young hearts.
