Arabel initially wanted to ask her to stay, but then she rembered that, in addition to wanting to understand the causes of the recent incident, she needed to complete the task of the System and make Lina her champion. She nodded.

“Leave alone with them,” she said.

Milena nodded and, turning around, left the guest room without a word.

“How badly was he hurt?” — Nemo’s voice trembled slightly, and he clenched his left fist.

“It’s serious enough, but don’t worry. As Dan said, he will recover before the wedding,” Arabel smiled with an effort. “Especially since Lucinda is next to him and takes care of him.”

“A wedding?” — Nemo was very surprised, as was Lina, who had been listening to their conversation all this ti.
