"Oh, Idan!" exclaid Eulalia with sincere joy, eting Idan at the Access Portal located in the bowels of the Temple.
"Eulalia?" Idan marveled, montarily frozen in surprise when he saw how much Eulalia had changed since becoming a High Elf.
Eulalia, noticing Idan’s reaction, was slightly embarrassed, but inside she was very happy.
Milica followed Idan out of the portal.
"Master, welco back," — Eulalia greeted Milica.
Idan, looking around the Temple, noticed that apart from Eulalia and the puppet Nanny, who took care of two babies, Izzy and Rizzy, there was no one else here.
"Where’s everyone else?" he asked.
"Milena and the Princess are in the Lake of the Dead with Sierra. Lina and Nemo went to the Valley of Stones. Hailey is currently training in the middle part of the Doppelganger Forest with Raynar’s personal guard and his wives. Lucinda, along with Alia and Alianora, went to the First City." — Eulalia quickly told what her friends were doing.
"Raynar?" repeated Idan.
"Oh yeah, that’s the na of the dragon Hailey signed her second contract with with Esma’s help."
"Oh! Wait... a dragon? Aren’t you talking about that dragon from the second city?"— Idan rembered an old conversation in which Milica talked about the ruler of the second city, the red dragon.
Idan rembered that mont very well. After all, it was then that he learned about the existence of a dragon in this world. And of course, he hadn’t forgotten about Esma’s crazy plan to help Hailey ta a familiar dragon.
"That’s the one," Milica smiled, confirming his guess.
"Yes, that’s him," Milica confird with a smile, confirming his assumption. "As the outsider ruler of the second city, he had his own loyal guard who followed him after he made a contract with Hailey, as did his three dragon wives."
"Since Hailey can’t take anyone but Raynar with her to the other world yet, the others have decided to join us here. We thought that since we started building a small village, we could use our own security, and the Rayner Guard is perfect for this role," Milica added.
"Indeed," Idan agreed.
Besides Raynar, two other nas caught his attention: Lina and Alianora. Milica did not have ti to share all the information with him, so Idan was not yet aware of all the events and new people.
Idan had an idea that Alianora was the Hero Alianor, who might have finally accepted his current position and decided to take a female na.
"Lina must be the injured girl who was with Nemo.", — Idan thought.
Idan was ready to listen to all the information, but right now his mind was elsewhere.
He ca to Limbo for a reason.
"Where is Geminia?" he asked, and barely had ti to ask the question when she appeared next to them.
Geminia silently looked at Idan, as if studying him, and then her usual friendly smile appeared on her face.
"I see you’ve fully recovered," she said, and without waiting for an answer, she asked: "Why were you looking for ?"
"Ned, his soul has awakened," Idan managed to reply before Geminia moved with him to an unknown location. Milica and Eulalia were left alone, looking at each other in disbelief.
"Is he really awake?" — Geminia asked when she was alone with Idan.
Idan noticed Geminia’s agitation. He couldn’t rember ever seeing her in such a state. She usually behaved very calmly, with her usual friendly smile.
"Yes, he has woken up, but he is still in a semi—conscious state..." said Idan, talking about how the creatures contracted with him and Arabel exist inside their Stars.
"I can’t summon him until I restore his body," Idan added.
"That’s how it is.", — Geminia was very happy to hear that Ned’s soul had already awakened.
"And you ca to to find out how to restore his body?"
"Yes, that’s right," Idan did not hide the purpose of his visit to her.
Recently, when he felt the awakening of Ned’s soul, he was overjoyed and asked the System how to restore his body, the System imdiately advised him to turn to Geminia, Ned’s ancestor, from whom all Doppelgangers originate.
"You know, you did the right thing by contacting ," Geminia said after listening to Idan, and added: "I have an idea how to get Ned’s body back."
"Really?" said Idan happily.
"Of course," Geminia confird, sharing his delight.
Then she teleported away again, taking Idan with her.
This ti they found themselves at the entrance to a neatly hollowed-out cave.
"Follow ," — Geminia said, confidently stepping inside.
Idan listened to her words and followed her.
"Tell , Idan, how did it go?" Geminia suddenly asked. "You’ve already been influenced by the energy of a Rank 6 creature twice. Did you feel the difference between them?"
"Yes, I did," he replied with a slight smile. "Master said that this is the difference between a being who has a connection to a domain and one who does not."
"Yes, Milica is right, that’s right," Geminia confird.
"I see you want to know why I asked this question, don’t you?"
Idan nodded, agreeing with her.
"Do you rember when I told you that by signing a contract with Doppelgangers, you will beco opponents of an entire race in the future?"
Idan nodded again, rembering that conversation and Geminia’s warnings.
"Well, all the creatures that beco your enemies will mostly have connections to the Bloodline domains. So you better know what you and the others are going to face if you’re going to be active in Junonia."
"Based on this, I ca to the conclusion that you should learn about the origin of the Doppelgangers, including mine," Geminia said, stepping deeper into the cave and slightly imrsing herself in her mories.
"There are many amazing and diverse races in Junonia," she began.
"But there is one race among them that holds a special place. The race that is respected and even protected by almost all powerful races and even so individuals is the Formless race."
"And I was born among them," Geminia said with mixed feelings. "The race that later beca my sworn enemy."
"The race that you, all those who have made a contract with the Doppelgangers, will fight as enemies in the future."
Under Geminia’s shocking confession, they soon found themselves in a spacious room filled with the energy of madness and many strange red cocoons that floated in the air.
