The earth humd, streaks of heat ran through the stones, and clouds of suffocating gas burst from the cracks.
The temperature was rising rapidly, and the rocks around rang with internal tension.
Boom!
A huge explosion thundered, raising columns of red-hot lava, stone fragnts and huge ash clouds into the sky. All this was accompanied by a shock tremor of the earth, which did not stop, shaking everything around.
"Wow!" Hailey exclaid, her mouth wide open. Hugging a Baby dragon chewing a candy, she watched in fascination the eruption that t them at the border of the middle layer of the Fire Anomaly.
"As we know, eruptions are common in these places, especially now that the Anomaly is at its peak," Idan recalled, feeling a powerful flow of fiery energy.
"Be prepared for the shockwave that is about to reach us," he warned, addressing the Guild mbers.
"Did you hear that? Use all your strength! This is not just a shock wave, but the vibrations of the earth elent!" Nathan exclaid loudly, expressing support for Idan. His body began to be covered with stone armor.

Apart from the Kingdom Guild mbers, there was also a part of the Titan Guild present.
Idan planned that as the group progressed in the middle layer, he would personally go to the central layer to compete for the seeds of the law, leaving Nathan and Hazel to look after the groups.
Heeding the warning, all the Guild mbers used their abilities to withstand the shockwave.
The ground shook under their feet, and many could not resist and fell.
The protective barrier around them collapsed, and everyone except the shockwave was enveloped in incredible heat.
At that mont, they lost their concentration, and the vibrations of the earth elent passed through their bodies, destroying all their defenses and causing serious damage to organs and blood vessels.
Even Idan didn't expect such a strong shockwave and suffered so injuries. His bloodline instantly began to absorb the abundant fiery energy around him on its own, quickly repairing his damage.
Idan then created a new barrier that shielded everyone from the scorching heat, thereby protecting the wounded from further deterioration.
"Unbelievable," Nathan whispered, as his cracked stone armor began to crumble.
"Which is to be expected from an eruption that occurred in the middle layer," Hazel agreed, opening her four sand wings that she used as a shield.
"That was cool," smiled Hayley, whose skin was covered with red scales.
The baby dragon she was holding tilted its head, trying to figure out what they were talking about.
"Well, so—so," said a young man with long red hair, two horns on his head and red eyes with vertical pupils, not very impressed by all this.
Everyone looked at him calmly and then ignored him.
"Hmm," he snorted and looked enviously at the dragon, which was basking between two rather large peaks of Hailey.
The dragon, noticing his gaze, turned and, without expressing fear, grinned at him, which only increased his irritation.
After recovering from his wounds, Idan transford from the Alpha of Fire to the Alpha of Light and began to heal all the mbers of his team.
"Oh, I didn't realize that you have an affinity for the elent of Light besides Fire," Nathan was pleasantly surprised by Idan's arsenal of abilities.
Unbearable heat, toxic gas and ash all around, and dangerous vibrations.
The Fire Anomaly was full of danger.
"Get ready. Before going to the middle layer, we will start training so that you get used to the heat and learn how to protect yourself from toxic gases and ash," Idan announced after finishing the treatnt.

"We will periodically move towards the eruptions to learn how to defend ourselves from shock waves," Idan added, and the faces of all the Guild mbers paled.

He and Arabel had never been interested in her affinity for the elents, or the bloodline Hailey possessed. Although she was their first follower, whose System had sworn allegiance to their System.
