Chapter 689: Bastard!
“You know, I have an idea,” the Blacksmith said after thinking about Idan’s request.

Idan’s eyes immediately shone with joy when the Blacksmith confirmed that he was able to create weapons for them.

“Do I need to drink this potion?” asked Essora, looking anxiously at the bottle that the Creepy Guy handed her.
“Just drink it,” replied the Creepy Guy, whose eyes were burning with anticipation.
“Wait,” Сristina Essora stopped when she heard the Creepy Guy’s words. “Don’t listen to him and don’t drink it now.”
“Huh? Why?” asked Essora, suddenly doubting if she had really been given the potion she was told was supposed to purify her bloodline.
Instead of answering Essora’s question, Сristina asked a counter question.: “Do you want to attend the wedding of the owners of this place?”
“Of course I do,” replied Essora, overwhelmed with the desire to witness this grand event—the wedding of her rescuers and the leaders who sheltered her.
“Then postpone taking the potion until the end of the ceremony,” Сristina suggested. “After you drink it, you will enter a special state during which your bloodline will undergo purification. The whole process will take more than one day.”
Essora opened her eyes in surprise, looking at the potion in her hands. She remembered how several girls had already changed their bloodlines, and a creepy pulsating cocoon appeared around them.
“So I’m going through something like this?” she thought, looking at the potion.
“Okay,” Essora nodded, agreeing with Сristina’s suggestion.
“Tch,” the Creepy guy clicked his tongue, expressing displeasure, but remained silent.
“For a monster like you, one day more or one day less doesn’t really matter,” Сristina replied, and the Creepy Guy’s face became even more displeased.
However, a smile appeared on his face, which immediately alarmed Сristina.
“No, no, you can’t do that!” she panicked. But it was too late: a system window appeared in front of her eyes, and after reading its contents, Сristina blushed with anger.
“This will be a lesson for you to respect your elders, little girl,” the creepy guy burst out laughing and, leaving them alone, disappeared from the room, going in search of more.
Essora looked at the two of them in disbelief, holding her sphere in her hands, not understanding what was going on between the two.
“Bastard!” — Сristina cursed out loud as soon as he left.
“Even if Essora drank the potion now, he would still have to leave without waiting for the end of the Bloodline purification, which without the artifact of time would have dragged on for several local days,” Сristina thought, fuming.
The situation with the Essora bloodline turned out to be much more plicated than she had imagined, and even the Host of the Supreme Bloodline System had not expected such a turn of events.
Being limited by the restricts of this world and being here not in his true body, the Creepy Guy realized that in the allotted time he would not be able to purify Essora’s bloodline on his own without degrading its quality.
In the end, he decided to use the bloodline purification potion, which needed more time to get the desired result.
“And who are you calling a bastard?” came the voice of Idan, who appeared next to Christina and Essora.
“This…” Сristina was stunned by his unexpected appearance and how he affected her last time.
“She meant that guy,” Essora answered for Сristina.
“Hmm…” nodded Idan, noticing the potion that Essora was holding, and he seemed to understand what had happened. However, he wasn’t here for that, so he got straight to the point.
“I see you’ve finished?” he asked, and Essora nodded in response.
“Okay, then I’ll take her with me,” Idan said, and before Сristina could recover, he teleported her away with him.
“What are you…” — Christina did not have time to object, as she found herself in a hot room, where she saw a muscular middle-aged man with a thick beard.
“Oh, the Blacksmith!” she exclaimed, recognizing another old monster and his very noticeable wife.
The Blacksmith saw Сristina and nodded slightly, understanding Idan’s intentions.
“So I’m the weapon, and she’s the ring?” he suggested.
“That’s right,” Idan confirmed his guess.
The Blacksmith smiled and stroked his thick beard.:
“And what’s that? There’s a weapon, and a ring, too. How are you going to bine them?”
“Wait, wait, what are you talking about here?” said Сristina. “And what does it have to do with me and the ring?”
“I don’t recall agreeing to anything like that, especially to you,” she said, pointing a slender index finger in Idan’s direction.
“Of course, you don’t remember this, because no one has ever asked you to do this,” Idan laughed, looking at Сristina’s indignation, which looked funny.
“I’m sorry for bringing you here without an explanation,” he apologized.
“The thing is…” Idan, in the presence of the two Supreme Systems, confessed his mistake — he forgot about the wedding rings.
“Therefore, I ask you to help me fulfill my slightly selfish desires and create a unique engagement ring that my Belle will like,” Idan sincerely asked.
“You probably already know that my partner and I have a Unique Pair System, and we have mon System Points. Unfortunately, I can’t pay for these rings with my System Points,” Idan confessed.
“In return, I will owe each of you a favor. A favor that will not affect my partner or my loved ones in any way. A favor that only I and no one else will owe.”
The Blacksmith, hearing his words, smiled and actively rubbed his beard.
