"When soone throws a punch at you, you can gently deflect it to another direction, or use the force against the force—'four ounces shifting a thousand pounds' illustrates this," Ye Hao smiled.
"I don't believe it—the 'four ounces shifting a thousand pounds' is just in novels; how could it be possible," Su Qing expressed disbelief in Ye Hao.
Actually, it wasn't that she didn't believe Ye Hao, but she wanted to see so impressive moves from Ye Hao.
"Nini, you've practiced, try a couple of moves with ," Ye Hao turned to Fang Ni, knowing that no amount of strong explanation could compare with an actual face-to-face spar.
"Okay, I want to see how real Tai Chi is like," Fang Ni said, raising her fists to crash directly into him.
Seeing this, Ye Hao raised a hand, and as Fang Ni's fist was about to hit his face, he pulled forcefully, causing Fang Ni to lose her balance and tumble towards him.
Ye Hao dodged, and Fang Ni continued pitching forward. As she was about to fall, Ye Hao wrapped an arm around her waist and, using the force of her plunge, lifted her upright.
Ye Hao twirled Fang Ni in the air twice, all done smoothly and swiftly.
Fang Ni was held firmly in Ye Hao's grip but hadn't fully regained her senses; when she did, she found herself placed steadily back on the ground.
"Wow! Ye, is this Tai Chi? It seems like you weren't using much force?" Su Qing's eyes sparkled as she asked Ye Hao.
"Indeed, you don't need to exert much force. That move was using force against force—'four ounces shifting a thousand pounds,'" Ye Hao smiled.
"I want to learn. When Yuyu wants to hit , I can use 'four ounces shifting a thousand pounds' to avoid her," Su Qing said, shaking Ye Hao's arm.
"Earlier, you used genuine Tai Chi? I felt a force wrapping around ," Fang Ni asked after returning to her senses.
"That's the power of Tai Chi—abbreviated as the Power of Yin and Yang," Ye Hao said.
"Can we learn it?" Xia Zhu asked on the side.
"Of course! If my wife can't learn, who can?" Ye Hao laughed.
"Won't it trouble you?" Fang Ni didn't want to make things difficult for Ye Hao, knowing this is Wudang's absolute skill. If Ye Hao can decide, that's okay, but if not, they would avoid learning Tai Chi so as not to put Ye Hao in a tough spot.
