After all, knowing one's enemy leads to victory in every battle. It wouldn't be good to be completely ignorant about Director Ye and end up with an unpleasant situation.
Although he claid that if Qin Xiweng didn't beco his son-in-law, he would lower the gold price and cause Hao n a significant loss, he might not actually do it if Qin Xiweng refused.
