"You're looking for trouble..."
The man finished speaking and threw away his sauerkraut instant noodles, sending a spinning kick towards Ye Hao.
Ye Hao was stunned. He just asked why there were so few people here, didn't he? How did that turn into "you're looking for trouble"?
Ye Hao casually deflected the man's spinning kick, causing the man to stagger and retreat.
The man snorted coldly and said with a tone of disappointnt, "Who are you? Are you here to provoke us again? Damn it, I just can't understand why you Huaxia people always like to fight among yourselves, it's ridiculous."
"I said, I'm here to register." Ye Hao gave the man a glance and said.
"Then why did you insult the Martial Arts Club?" The man snorted in disbelief.
"When did I insult the Martial Arts Club?" Ye Hao laughed. This guy must have been insulted often, so now he misinterprets anything as an insult to the Martial Arts Club, doesn't he?
"You... you didn't insult the Martial Arts Club?" The man seed to realize he was too sensitive and asked, a bit embarrassed.
"No." Ye Hao nodded affirmatively.
Seeing this, the man apologized to Ye Hao and said, "Sorry about that, bro, was too sensitive. You didn't get hurt, did you?" He then realized it was Ye Hao who had overpowered him, asking quickly, "How co you were so strong just now, are you a martial artist?"
"I know a thing or two." Ye Hao casually sat down with him on the ground—there was no way not to sit on the ground; the Martial Arts Club didn't even have a decent table, everything was dilapidated.
Ye Hao even suspected that the instant noodles the man was eating were cooked with hot water fetched from the kitchen.
"Buddy, why didn't you join another club? Why join our poor Martial Arts Club?" the man asked.
"Before coming to the Martial Arts Club, I didn't know it was this shabby here. But once I ca, I already paid; could I really ask for a refund?" Ye Hao laughed.
"You're quite noble! But if you really want a refund, I'd return it to you." The man said understandingly.
"Haha, no need. Since I'm here, there's no point in going back and forth. Back ho, my elders always spoke about promoting Huaxia martial arts, though I never had the chance. Now that there's an opportunity, let's do our part for Huaxia's martial arts scene!" Ye Hao replied with a smile.
"Buddy... your words moved . My na is Li Chao, I'm the president of the Martial Arts Club. Nice to et you, Vice President..." The president nad Li Chao stood up, reached out his hand, moved to tears.
"Nice to et you too, I'm Ye Hao. But, about the Vice President..." Ye Hao looked at Li Chao in confusion.
"Ah! It's a long story! You know, two years ago, our Martial Arts Club was famous throughout Peking University. Everyone knew about the Martial Arts Club and the prowess of Huaxia martial arts. But two years ago, after the young Huaxia talents left, the prestige of Peking University's Martial Arts Club plumted, being bullied by any random student organizations. After taking over the Martial Arts Club, things just got worse. Despite my tall stature, I'm just a one-dan weakling in National Martial Arts." Li Chao openly revealed his skills as rely one-dan in National Martial Arts. He used to be the weakest in the club, but now he's the highest-ranking mber.
From this, you can imagine how far the Martial Arts Club has declined.
"First-dan, at age twenty-one?" Ye Hao asked.
"Yes!" Li Chao nodded.
Ye Hao felt a bit ashad. He was first-dan at age twenty-one, and only improved to eight-dan in the subsequent year! Ye Hao's foundation was admittedly poor, but achieving eight-dan was a testant to his efforts.
"That's not bad. So people can't even reach first-dan." Ye Hao laughed.
"What's your level, buddy?" Li Chao asked, puzzled. He knew Ye Hao was more than first-dan, but just how strong, he didn't know.
"Stronger than you, but no random nobody can easily bully our club." Ye Hao smiled.
"Really?" Li Chao's eyes widened in excitent, looking at Ye Hao. He sounded so confident, there must be strength to back it, hence his excitent.
"Haha, definitely. But honestly, our club lacks mbers. Here's 100,000 yuan, make the Martial Arts Club more respectable! And rent the upper floors, make it luxurious. If our predecessors could make the Martial Arts Club widely known, why can't we give it a try?" Ye Hao laughed, handing 100,000 yuan to Li Chao.
Seeing 100,000 yuan, Li Chao's hands trembled. Coming from a poor background, he was already thrilled to attend university; when had he ever seen so much money?
"Buddy..."
"Haha, call Vice President." Ye Hao joked.
"You could call yourself President! My friend, your contributions to Peking University's Martial Arts Club are imnse, the presidency belongs to you..." Li Chao imdiately gave up his position to Ye Hao.
"No thanks, I'm not interested. Also, this number is mine, call if any shady people trouble the club." Ye Hao said, leaving a business card before he left.
He never even asked who the current mbers were or who was left.
Ye Hao's reason for not asking was evident, as the Martial Arts Club was covered in dust, clearly showing no one had been here, except for a few footprints. Given this, it seed like Li Chao was the only one holding on.
Ye Hao ca swiftly and left quickly, leaving Li Chao stunned, holding the 100,000 yuan without knowing what to do for over half an hour.
When he ca to his senses, he realized Ye Hao had already gone.
He then summoned the courage to use the 100,000 yuan Ye Hao gave him, first hiring people to clean the Martial Arts Club and tidy up the ring.
He replaced the damaged wooden stakes used for training, along with so of the training equipnt; anything not usable was completely replaced.
As for the renovation of the Martial Arts Club, Ye Hao wasn't interested in knowing; he was only concerned with the club being his from now on. If any other clubs bullied the Martial Arts Club, Ye Hao would step in to resolve the issue.
Ye Hao also wanted to take the opportunity during his university ti to properly teach those interested in martial arts and to promote Huaxia martial arts.
Back at the registration hall, Lin Ruyu and the other girl were already waiting for him.
"Where have you been?" Lin Ruyu asked when she saw Ye Hao returning.
"Nowhere special, just wandered around and took a look at the dorm with my two roommates." Ye Hao smiled, "Alright, it's noon, let's head ho for lunch!"
Lin Ruyu and the girl nodded, planning to go ho with Ye Hao. But just then, a beautiful silhouette either intentionally or unintentionally bumped into Ye Hao...(To be continued.
