Capítulo 1066: Chapter 1020: The Final Decision

“Yue’er, Mr. Song’s son likes you, do you like him?” Luo Weizi asked.

Luo Yue shook her head.

“Mr. Song, as you can see, my daughter is not willing, so there’s nothing more to be done. Let’s not talk about an arranged marriage anymore.” Luo Weizi said.

Song Ziqiang’s face turned dark, feeling embarrassed. In Shanghai, many families wanted to marry their daughters into the Song Family, but he had refused them all. Today, he actively proposed an alliance with the Luo Family only to be rejected publicly. This left Song Ziqiang feeling humiliated.

“Luo Weizi, rember what you said today. I hope you don’t regret it later. For my son, to even consider your daughter is your family’s good fortune. Since you don’t recognize the value, don’t co begging later.” Song Ziqiang said in a deep voice.

Song Mingzhe’s face was equally sullen. He had hoped his parents could secure Luo Yue through marriage, but now faced a harsh rejection. Angry, Song Mingzhe blad Ye Tian, believing that without Ye Tian, Luo Yue would have been his.

Thinking this, Song Mingzhe clenched his fists in rage, trembling all over, wanting to teach Ye Tian a lesson imdiately.

“President Luo, your daughter is being unreasonable; are you too? You should know the benefits of a union between our families. My son is handso, talented, and even a disciple of Master Chen, compared to that fellow, Ye Tian. Your choice will only harm your daughter.” Song Mingzhe’s mother also couldn’t hold back her dissatisfaction.

“Mrs. Song, you’re right. Your son compared to Young Master Ye is indeed worlds apart — your son can only look up from a lower place. And even if I agreed to this marriage, Master Chen would never condone it.” Luo Weizi replied with a smile.

Currently, Luo Yue is personally ntored by Master Chen, while Song Mingzhe is only an outer disciple. For those who practice, hierarchy is crucial. How could Master Chen approve his disciple pursuing his ntee? It would be absurd.

“Master Chen is my son’s teacher; how could he not agree? This has nothing to do with Master Chen, right?” Song Mingzhe’s mother frowned.

“If you don’t believe , you can ask Master Chen yourselves later. As long as he agrees, I won’t object,” Luo Weizi said with a smile.

“Alright, President Luo, rember what you said. Don’t regret it later.” Song Mingzhe’s mother smiled, confident that Master Chen, their son’s teacher, would surely support them.

“What I’ve said, I won’t go back on.” Luo Weizi firmly nodded.

“Mingzhe, call your ntor over. Today’s marriage with Luo Yue is as good as sealed. I can’t believe your ntor would speak for an outsider.” Song Mingzhe’s mother said.

Song Mingzhe also smiled confidently.

“Very well, President Luo, I hope you’ll keep your word.” Song Mingzhe said, preparing to find his ntor.

Just then, soone at the banquet hall entrance shouted, “Master Chen is here.”

At this word, the previously noisy banquet hall suddenly fell silent, and everyone crowded around, like fans seeing their idol.

Chen Ting strode in, wearing a brand new vintage navy long robe, with his hair neatly combed, a smile on his face.

“Hello, Master Chen.”

“Congratulations, Master Chen.”

A wave of flattery flooded toward him, and Chen Ting, in good spirits, courteously returned the greetings.

Among the crowd, Cheng Qing, seeing Chen Ting arrive, hurriedly pulled her sister, squeezing through to kneel before him.

“Master Chen, I, I am Cheng Qing. We t a dozen days ago. At that ti, I pleaded for your help for my sister. Now, I have brought her, hoping for your rcy, to save her life.” Cheng Qing knelt, pleading, and Cheng Guo knelt beside her, biting her lip but unable to hold back tears.

Cheng Qing indeed cared for her sister. Ye Tian, witnessing this, was moved, and beca less concerned about Cheng Qing’s previous offenses toward him. Her sacrifices for her sister showed she was a kind-hearted girl, rely pretending to be tough.

Chen Ting looked at Cheng Qing, hesitated montarily, but soon recalled that Cheng Qing had previously ntioned that her sister had been infected by a Gu Worm and was incurable. Having so knowledge of Xiangxi’s Gu Technique, he asked Cheng Qing to bring her sister to Shanghai for an evaluation.

However, today was not the right ti for Cheng Qing to co.

“I rember you. Let’s do this; co find tomorrow. Tonight I have urgent matters, no ti to help your sister,” Chen Ting replied, as tonight, taking on a ntor was paramount for him, everything else had to wait.

“Then, alright.” Cheng Qing accepted grudgingly, though hoping Master Chen could imdiately assist her sister. She realized she had already acted boldly, and aggravating Master Chen might lead him to ignore her request entirely.

“Master Chen is truly benevolent.”

“Master Chen’s altruism is admirable.”

Onlookers again showered praise.

Chen Ting gestured for silence, and finally the crowd fell quiet. He scanned the venue but couldn’t spot Ye Tian among the throng.

“Master Chen, we heard an extraordinary figure guiding you would be here tonight. Has this person arrived?” soone curiously asked.

“He should be here already.” Chen Ting replied with a smile.

Moreover, he had just learned about his disciple’s quarrel with Ye Tian, angrily wanting to punish him, yet swiftly devised a brilliant plan to implent.

The Song Family mbers relaxed, their faces showing relieved smiles as Master Chen arrived.

“President Luo, it’s too late for regrets now; let’s et Master Chen.” Song Mingzhe’s mother said with a grin.

“And you, brat; I suggest you leave at once. If my ntor sees you, you’ll never be able to leave,” Song Mingzhe said coldly to Ye Tian, who remained unfazed.

Ye Tian stood unmoved, while Luo Weizi shook her head, feeling pity for Song Mingzhe. His future seed bleak, and perhaps even the Song Family’s fate was sealed.

“Fine, have it your way, refuse to leave, do you? I’ll call my ntor right now.” Song Mingzhe reacted angrily to Ye Tian’s disregard for his warning.

“ntor, ntor!” Song Mingzhe shouted.

Hearing the call, Chen Ting turned and, spotting Ye Tian beside Song Mingzhe, delightedly hurried over.

“ntor, please aid your disciple; President Luo said she would agree if you consent to her daughter marrying .” Song Mingzhe quickly approached Chen Ting.
