Cheng Xue i’s mother knew that her daughter was still thinking about that man from the Wu Family. Cheng Xue i said nothing.
"However, if you had ntioned wanting to co here, I would’ve told you. We’re all classmates, no need to be a stranger. I have plenty of clothes at ho, I could have given you one. Coming here dressed like this makes your old classmate here lose face," Tian Yan said again, her words full of sarcasm.
"If you’re feeling embarrassed, you can ignore ," Cheng Xue i said — though feeling uneasy — she replied with courage. With no money or power, one tends to feel humble. If it weren’t for having Ye Tian by her side today, Cheng Xue i wouldn’t even dare to raise her head in such a situation.
"How could I ignore you? I am not a heartless person. Even though my life is good now and you’re down and out, if you need help, I’ll surely help you. By the way, my husband is also here tonight. I’ll call him over," Tian Yan said with a smile.

Wu Wei looked towards Cheng Xue i. Since Cheng Xue i was bowing her head deep into her chest, Wu Wei initially didn’t recognize her.
"Why are you bowing your head? We’re all classmates here, nothing to be embarrassed about," Wu Wei said with a smile.
Cheng Xue i still didn’t dare to lift her head.
