Ye Tian walked into the café, greeted by an aura of English elegance; he hadn’t expected No.3 to have such taste.
His gaze fell on a person in the far corner, and with a slight smile, he slowly walked over.
Soon, Ye Tian was seated on the stool.
"Pavilion Master, you’ve arrived," No.3 greeted respectfully, then took out a white piece of paper,
"This is the intel our covert mber in the God Organization has uncovered; please have a look, Pavilion Master."
Ye Tian nodded, took the paper, and skimd through it for about five minutes before speaking casually, "Judgnt assembly?"
"Exactly, Zeus plans to hold a judgnt assembly the day after tomorrow. The first purpose is to mourn his father."
"The second is to reclaim control over all the forces in New York City, uniting to find his father’s murderer."
No.3 briefly explained the situation to Ye Tian, though he was inwardly shocked.
Although the God Organization was indeed powerful before, it wasn’t strong enough to consolidate all of New York’s forces.
However, Zeus’s judgnt assembly is clearly an ambitious move, known to all, astoundingly bold.
Isn’t he afraid these forces might unite to demolish the God Organization?
In any case, No.3 was utterly bewildered.
A glimr of insight crossed Ye Tian’s eyes as he muttered to himself, "It seems he obtained a significant opportunity in the Dragon Secret Realm, greatly enhancing his strength."
"Otherwise, how could he be so arrogant!"
After a morning of reconnaissance, he also roughly understood the power dynamics of New York City; it was similar to years ago, just a couple of newly erged forces added.
The top three in rank were the God Organization, the Catherine family, and the Gray Family.
Below them were the Mafia, the Acos Family, and others whose power levels greatly differed from the top three.
However, what piqued Ye Tian’s interest the most was the newly erged force, the Angel Holy Hall, rumored to have appeared out of thin air, an extrely powerful and mysterious organization.
He had a hunch that the Angel Holy Hall might be related to Mu Yurou’s whereabouts.
"Keep a close watch on the God Organization,"
Ye Tian said to No.3 with a smile after contemplating.
"Pavilion Master, there’s one more thing... I’m not sure if I should ntion it." No.3 hesitated, his eyes flickering.
It seed like he had sothing else to say.
"Go ahead." Ye Tian replied.
"The girl you asked to protect—I investigated her family background and found out they’re quite pitiable."
"Shouldn’t we help them?"
No.3 said through gritted teeth, his eyes glittering with anger.
"What did you find out? Tell ," Ye Tian sipped his coffee and said calmly.
"Here’s the situation: Yu Yueyue’s mother is nad Chen Xiu, and her father is Zhu Hao. They immigrated here three years ago and were originally well-off."
"Unexpectedly, Zhu Hao got into gambling during his first year in m-country, losing assets worth millions from the family."
"Moreover, he beca an alcoholic and started dostic violence against Chen Xiu. Now, the whole family relies solely on the mother and daughter. It’s truly... That Zhu Hao even wants them to sell themselves!"
"Now, they only have one house left. If not for Chen Xiu threatening with her life, they might have ended up holess."
"Damn, that Zhu Hao is a beast!"
The more No.3 spoke, the angrier he beca until he slamd his fist on the café table with a loud bang.
It was evident how furious he was.
Fortunately, there weren’t many people in the café at this ti; otherwise, they would have drawn several gazes.
Ye Tian remained silent, expressionless. No.3, realizing his own rashness might have displeased the Pavilion Master, quickly apologized, "Pavilion Master, I’m sorry."
"I lost control of my emotions... I..."
Before he could finish, Ye Tian interrupted, "I will take care of Yueyue’s issues."
"By the way, check on the Acos Family for ; I dislike constant trouble."
"The Acos Family offended you, Pavilion Master?"
No.3’s eyes widened as he took a deep breath, internally feeling sorry for the Acos Family.
They had no idea of the kind of being they had offended.
"Go on; contact on my phone if you have any updates."
Ye Tian slightly nodded, indicating No.3 could leave.
"Pavilion Master, I assure you I’ll complete the task!"
No.3 saluted Ye Tian and then left the café to proceed with the next steps of the plan.
"Judgnt assembly? Catherine family? Speaking of which, I haven’t seen Old Man Kais for a while either."
In his thoughts, Ye Tian suddenly recalled soone.
Ye Tian took out his phone and dialed a series of numbers.
It took about twenty seconds for soone to pick up the call.
"You... You are!!?" A trembling, elderly voice answered from the other side.
"It’s ," Ye Tian said.
The elderly person was silent for a while before saying, "My Lord, you finally called ."
Judging from the voice on the phone, you could sense the elder’s excitent and joy.
Ye Tian chuckled and said, "You know, I returned to Huaxia."
"I assu you called because you need sothing?" The elder asked.
"Indeed, if it weren’t for my need to co to m-country, I might not have called you."
"Is your Catherine family planning to attend that judgnt assembly?" Ye Tian asked with a smile.
As if speaking to an elder of the sa generation on the phone.
"Judgnt assembly? It’s rely Zeus’s ambitious move," the elder’s voice carried a hint of anger as he said:
"Is it related to your concerns, My Lord?"
"Correct, I suspect the person who killed Zeus’s father is a friend of mine," Ye Tian continued.
"What?? Hahaha~ I never thought Zeus would face such a day—he’s planning to kill your friend."
"My Lord, are you planning to attend the judgnt assembly?" The voice on the other end erupted in laughter before asking.
A smile ford in Ye Tian’s heart as he said, "Yes, is there any way you can help arrange sothing for ?"
The overwhelming Heavenly chanism surrounding Mu Yurou was so intense, he had no choice but to start with the God Organization.
"For your request, My Lord, even if it’s beyond my capability, I will lay down my life to help you achieve it.
"My granddaughter Catherine will be attending the judgnt assembly; I can have her accompany you."
"If possible, My Lord, please look after her," the elder paused and said.
"Your granddaughter Catherine? Wasn’t she studying at Cambridge two years ago?" Ye Tian asked.
"This little girl is remarkably smart; she graduated a year early," the elder remarked with emotion.
"Oh, I will." Ye Tian replied.
"My Lord, where are you? I want to et you," the elder coughed twice and said.
"Forget it; you’re almost ninety now. I’ll visit your ho soti; we haven’t t for a long ti either."
A warm smile appeared on Ye Tian’s face.
"Really!? That’s wonderful, thank God," the elder exclaid, then hung up the phone.
Ye Tian stood up and left the café, his eyes deep as they gazed at the bustling street.
In the study of a large mansion belonging to the Catherine family, an elderly foreigner with white hair was trembling.
His expression was imnsely joyful and excited.
He then dialed a number.
"Quick! Get Catherine back here for !"
.....
On the other side, Ye Tian recalled what No.3 had ntioned and reopened his phone.
"Yueyue, can I co over for dinner today?"
"Ah!!?? Brother Ye Tian? Of course, you’re super welco!"
"Then send the address."
"Okay."
