[Epic weapon gained, 500 Skill Points gained]
Making use of the skill points, Michael spent them on his strength and stamina, bringing them to 1,650 points.
’And about the weapon, I feel like there is sothing in my soul besides Devil’s Tongue.’ He mused. Since he was still being caressed, he wasn’t going to summon the weapon.
After all, he would have to explain how he got ahold of it, and he didn’t want to bother at the mont.
"Finally, we can leave!"
"Now this is personal; we have to seal the portal at all costs!"
The soldiers were relieved when they heard that the transport had arrived. Most had lost soone precious or a part of their sanity in today’s accident, and they wanted payback.
"Can you get up?" Victoria asked, gazing at his body. Most of the life-threatening injuries had closed up, but he was far from being in peak condition.
"Yes." Michael replied, standing on his feet.
Ava looked upwards, tracing her finger against his body.
"Your face is fine, but your body will be left with a few scars." She said.
He shrugged nonchalantly. Scars were proof of a warrior, so he wasn’t bothered by them. Not to ntion that as he got stronger, increasing his realm, his body would naturally heal off any impurities, scars included.
"A few scars don’t really bother ."
Ava’s gaze lingered on his naked torso for a few seconds before averting her eyes with a slightly rosy face.
"I didn’t say it as a negative..." She mumbled, hiding her true thoughts.
Before they left the cave, Enzo threw him a spare change of clothes.
"There is no way that I can leave my r—rival almost naked." He said, insisting on calling Michael his rival despite the obvious distance between them.
"Stubborn to the very end." Alia shook her head in dejection.
Nodding in appreciation, Michael quickly dressed before exiting the cave.
"Now these are rare." He whistled, seeing their transport.
In Neptune’s hostile climate, traditional transportation wasn’t effective. As such, people got around in mainly two ways. The first one was trains, and the second...
"Is this a tiger?" Leo muttered in disbelief. He had expected giant vehicles to co. Yet before them was stationed a pack of giant chanical chas with the appearance of a tiger.
"I have read about them. These are rumored to be equal to a cha but are powered by an AI instead." Alia pointed out.
Indeed, about a dozen cha tigers had co to the rescue. Unlike the real animals, these ones were about 8 ters tall and had a heating generator at the core, keeping warm any humans that could ride upon them.
Of course these things were lethal in combat, as even the Masters felt goosebumps looking at them.
"W—What are we waiting for?! Let’s board them!"
The soldiers excitedly boarded the tigers. No one was willing to let go of such a rare chance.
ROAR!
With a chanical cry, the tigers sped off full force toward Celestia. The fact the city had sent such an elite force to transport them showed how desperate for help they really were.
’Can I take over them with Bypasser?’ Michael wondered. Since he had managed to infiltrate an alien’s network with no trouble, he guessed taking command of the tigers was possible.
Having an army of deadly chas sounded nice.
"These things look... cute." Victoria said with sparkling eyes. She moved towards the head of the creature and began to pat it eagerly.
"She really likes cute things. I can see why she is so attached to you." Michael pointed out, gazing at Ava.
"?!"
Taken by surprise, Ava was flabbergasted by the unexpected comnt. In the end, she remained speechless.
Seeing that they were going to reach the city in just a few hours, Michael moved towards the tail of the beast. Sitting with his back against the people aboard with him, he summoned his new weapon, eager to inspect it.
"He must be struggling to process his emotions." Alia assud, leaving him alone. He had killed a General after all. No one had managed to wrap their heads around that fact, much less Michael.
Unaware of the misunderstanding, Michael summoned his new weapon.
"This is so cool." He mumbled, staring at it like a toy.
In his hand there was a nacing double shotgun. Even more impressive, there was a hook at the end of the double barrel!
[Heaven’s Judgnt]
[Rank: Epic]
• Power: 500
While he preferred lee weapons since he would get close to his victims, shotguns were undoubtedly his favorite firearms since he would have to get near for them to be effective.
’Not to ntion the massive hook! If my intuition is correct, this will be strong enough to bring my foes closer to the caliber or bring myself closer to them!’
He giggled like a child in a candy store. With this, he had beco even more dangerous at close range. It was nice that he could summon the weapon on a whim like a soul weapon despite it not being one.
"Devil’s Tongue will be jealous." He remarked.
"M—Michael, what are you giggling about?" While most of his crew left him alone, Ava approached him with his earlier comnt fresh in her mind.
Quickly dismissing the weapon, he patted her on the head with a warm smile.
"Nothing, I am just happy about how beautiful so things are..."
"!!!"
Completely misinterpreting his words, Ava’s entire face flushed red.
With a chuckle, Michael glanced at the horizon, where Celestia was now just a few minutes away.
Its sheer scale dwarfed even Azure, which housed a population of millions.
And now the full might of the settlent was put on full display. Hundreds of cha, either flying or ground-type, were lined up like an army. Next to them was a giant pack of cha tigers capable of flanking even the fastest aliens.
Among them were nurous soldiers ard up to the teeth, ready to go to war. Hundreds of Grandmasters, thousands of Masters, and countless Experts and Adepts.
’An army of such scale without a single Apprentice is not to be trifled with.’ Michael mused.
It appeared that it wouldn’t be long before he would use his new weapon in a battle.
The people around him mirrored his admiration, their gazes shifting to the person that stood at the very front of the whole ordeal.
With such a fearso aura, no one could remain clueless. This was Celestia’s Lord.
They were going all out from the very start.
