Using his 4,680 agility to the fullest, Michael moved faster than any of the nearby Higher aliens could hope to perceive. Even if the effect lasted for only one second, the fact remained that now he was able to rival Victoria’s speed.

If the word got around that a person was able to match the agility of soone with more than 2 realms of difference, it would be called a fairy tale since no such person had ever existed in history.

In normal circumstances, Michael would have had his brain fried from going so fast, but with the assistance of the Epic technique Perfect Vision, he had no such problem.

’I can only imagine how powerful I will get once I complete the so-called impossible mission and be awarded a Mythic cybernetic.’ He mused.

’But first I have to get rid of the ones following my tail.’ Once Michael judged that he had created enough distance between himself and the Elites, he turned backward to observe their position.

"How could sothing so big be so fast?" He wondered out loud.

’A bit ironic coming from you.’ His sword pointed out.

’True.’ Michael shrugged before continuing to go farther than the outer line.

BOOM!

Just then, his vision went white for a second, and a powerful thunderbolt resonated from the far distance.

Thanks to Perfect Vision, his senses returned a mont later.

He grinned, seeing the alien spaceship that had been releasing the alien pods now on fire as it was falling to the ground.

BOOM!

A second, even larger tremor shook the ground once it fell.

"With this, the alien pods we will have to deal with are numbered. As long as we don’t get cocky, we should be fine... In theory." He figured.

Because he had been running such a long distance, the Elites that had been following him had increased. The ones that had yet to see him take part in killing one of their kind all needed to know that he was being followed. If he was being followed, he was a threat and had to be eliminated.

Making use of their shortsighted intellect, Michael had practically guaranteed that the only foes his teammates would have to deal with from now on would just be Higher tier aliens.

Of course, if soone were to hear him think of Higher aliens as ’just,’ they would smack him on the head, since they were still formidable opponents.

’Now the question is, how do I get rid of so many Elites?’ He pondered, continuing his sprint.

Unknown to him, he wasn’t just being followed by the group of Elites. One fragile drone, being controlled masterfully in order to remain intact, recorded his every movent.

Due to Michael’s actions, the Elites were absent from the battlefield. All that was visible were the Higher aliens, which would either fall pierced from the bullets of the common n or under the wrath of the captains that had co out of their positions.

"He reached the end of the tide, taking all of the Elites with him!" Luis proclaid in complete astonishnt.

"I told you, wasn’t I right?!" Skylar practically began to jump for joy. If she were to record the rise of a hero, her fa would skyrocket to heights all reporters dread about.

"Quick! Begin to stream it live. I can already foresee the title: A captain risks his life so his betrothed could live another day!"

Luis somberly shook his head. "You know the Emperor has banned live streaming of battles against the aliens. Otherwise, we could accidentally broadcast sothing dire and cause humanity to lose hope. We have to be careful with the propaganda we release. If humans ever thought we were losing the war, then hell would follow."

Skylar pouted, crossing her arms. "Yes, I know... Just make sure to record everything. Once we get permission, we should be able to edit the video and post it online."

Michael sighed with relief. Now that he had let the Higher aliens pass him, he didn’t need to be wary of being stabbed from the side.

’Well now, what genius?’ His sword brought him back to reality.

Turning, Michael counted the Elite tier aliens that had created a half-circle around him.

’About 40...’ He counted bitterly. It was certainly a grave number, yet nowhere near the supposed thousands of Elites that were coming from the command alien spaceship.

Michael chuckled, cracking his neck. "You may not know it since you are just a sword, but a human body is capable of much more than most people ever realize."

Deciding that the situation was suitable, he released his killing intent. Of course, he didn’t release all of it since his body wasn’t able to handle it yet.

Shudder!

The Elites instantly halted their advance. If what their instincts told them at this mont was true, then Michael was a danger. A danger that had to be dealt with as soon as possible.

In response, all of them unleashed the full extent of their aura. The 40 auras of the Elites combined and assaulted Michael, yet he remained standing, unfazed.

Even more surprising, his aura didn’t seem to back down even slightly.

All of the Elites had the sa thought. ’How could a re human in the Early Adept realm command such a vile aura?’

"Fuck!" anwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, Luis couldn’t help but curse. The screen display began disoriented, unable to record the encounter.

"To have such strong interference, that must an the Elites have unleashed their auras against the man! Quick, withdraw the drone before it loses control completely!" Skylar urged.

But it was too late. The drone’s rotor died, leading it to collapse and break on the hard ground.

"If they have unleashed their aura, then that must an it’s over for him..." Skylar sighed, feeling unexpected regret in her heart.

Luis shook his head dejectedly. Seeing the sacrifice of the man, he didn’t seem to care much about the destruction of his drone anymore. It just seed so... trivial.

With regret, the two reporters weren’t able to record the demise of the young hero that had given his base a fighting chance against the alien threat.

Naturally, they didn’t even consider the idea that the man could survive the encounter.

Quite a professional mistake on their part...
