Persephone had gotten so close that Michael saw a reflection of himself in her own bottomless eyes. The robes he wore, now slightly dampened from the plasma he had soaked in, clung to his body, accenting his muscular fra.

"How did you find us?" He asked, stunned by her stealth capabilities.

She responded with a mischievous grin. Extending a finger, she trailed it along the back of his neck.

"Do you rember our little duel back then?" Persephone said in a tender voice. "When I chained your neck, I also marked you. Regardless of the distance, I know your general location."

He blinked slowly.

"So you managed to track without my knowledge?"

Considering that the system had alerted him about his basic attributes being lowered, Michael had assud that had been the extent of her abilities.

’It seems I underestimated her. Persephone isn’t a Supre Lord for nothing.’ He thought.

Persephone laughed out loud, mildly amused by the slight frown on his face.

"Co on, loosen up! It turned out for the better, didn’t it? Otherwise, reuniting in this vast space would have taken us much longer."

There was a certain rit to her words, yet that didn’t an he liked being tracked. When the battle with MSAP-8 reached its end, Michael had to ensure that anything spelling out his location was gotten rid of.

He shook his head with a sigh. "Never mind that, what about the others?"

Persephone tilted her head to the side innocently.

"Others? You are the only one that I chained... and I can’t track more than one person at a ti."

She paused briefly, only to giggle.

"Rejoice, you are the only one special."

His eyes narrowed.

"So you have no information about the others?"

Persephone put a finger on her chin thoughtfully.

"Actually, I am pretty sure that Rosalie is dead. During the battle with my mimic, I accidentally spotted her from afar. She was lying on the ground numb, with a large gash opened over her chest... What a pity. The Bloody Rose doesn’t have any Supre Lords anymore."

From bad to worse. First it was Theodore, then Rosalie. Sure, the woman hadn’t been on pleasant terms with Michael, yet he didn’t let their sour relationship blind him to her importance as one of the strongest Lords.

Now, with two in their ranks dead and the others still scattered in the hostile environnt, their mission was increasingly beginning to seem like a suicidal one.

"At least roughly half of us are reunited." Michael exhaled deeply. With Persephone at their side, more potential options had opened up.

With a nonchalant nod, Persephone observed the surroundings.

Paying heed to the non-hostile illusions, she more or less understood the situation.

Next, she observed Devil and Angel bickering as always, the sister Lords who were surprisingly alive despite being only Absolute Lords, and lastly, the fox, who had once helped them kill the serpent and was now bearing nine tails.

"Sadly, I must have missed the fun." She exclaid in great disappointnt, settling next to Michael.

Letting out a yawn, she rested her head on his shoulder.

Before he could respond, she spoke.

"You wouldn’t be cruel enough to dismiss a woman looking for a little warmth, right?"

His eyebrow twitched. "We are on a star."

"But the cold spring is colder." Persephone retorted.

"Then just get out." Michael fired back.

"And miss out on the recovering benefits? No chance." She scoffed.

Knowing about Persephone’s chaotic nature, Michael chose to humor her. It wasn’t like she was causing trouble at the end of the day.

"Wait..." A realization hit him a few seconds later. "You paid the fee to use the bathhouse, right?"

"Fee?" Persephone arched an eyebrow. "The place looked open to the public, so I barged in."

"..."

As if on cue, a threatening-looking illusion suddenly barged in. By the ill intent the creature was giving off, it was clear the tavern didn’t take too kindly to freeloaders.

Foreseeing a battle ahead, Devil rose with a malicious grin.

However, before he could initiate a fight, the fox threw a hateful look at Persephone, snorted, and erged from the plasma.

"Our ti was close to running out anyway. We are leaving."

Evident from how much Michael had scoured the core ring only to find a single non-hostile establishnt, it was clear places like this tavern were rare. The fox wouldn’t stand to ruin one of the few places where she could recover without worrying about being ambushed.

"And just when we were getting to the good part!" Persephone clicked her tongue.

Outside the tavern, the squad had restored their strength and even gained an additional mber, so the mood was rather optimistic.

"Let’s venture deeper." Michael proposed, equipping Angel in her armor form and changing Devil into a sword.

Rolling her eyes, the fox morphed her body, turning into a motorcycle. This one was larger than the last, given the extra person she had to accommodate.

Forgetting about the incident with the bathhouse, Persephone’s eyes glead like srizing black holes.

Without an ounce of hesitation, she leaped behind Michael, wrapping her arms around his torso.

Persephone was a lover of thrills, yet due to her Supre Lord status, she rarely got the chance to experience the sensation of her blood heating up. Riding a motorcycle that could surpass the speed of a space shuttle wasn’t an opportunity she would miss for anything.

The sister Lords exchanged glances before settling on as well.

Creating a screeching noise, the fox charged forward, leaving a fire trail along their path.

"HAHAHA! This is what I’m talking about!" Persephone knew she was in for a ride when she had to reinforce the protective spiritual barrier across her eyes so she wouldn’t be blinded by the whipwash.

’Look at you, brat! Riding with three won at the sa ti... Quite far you have co!’ Devil remarked in Michael’s head.

Slowly, the squad steered toward the massive beam of light the Titan was emitting from the center.

They didn’t go very far before they were obstructed by a battle ahead. Unlike the illusion Michael had to swoop in and save the sister Lords from, the creatures before them were noticeably weaker.

Chuckling, Persephone got off and cracked her knuckles.

"Ti to warm up!"
