Faster than a heartbeat, the woman hovered over the figure that had hidden its face with a hood.

"I was so focused on Victoria and the Expert I almost missed you." She shook her head, glancing towards the Immortal Legion’s mbers.

"Not even a reaction?" It appeared that even Grandmaster Isaac didn’t sense the intruder that had entered the arena.

"Well, what can you expect from the Immortal Legion anyway? Arrogant and foolish to the core." She sneered before descending downwards.

With a firm grip, she took hold of the neck of the intruder, disappearing from sight.

"Huh? Did soone just disappear?"

The nearby soldiers were puzzled at the disappearance of a person right next to them.

"Must have been the wind."

Convinced that they had imagined it, their focus shifted back to the arena.

A few kiloters away from any human life, the woman threw the being she had gripped aside, removing its hood in the process.

Under it, a grueso appearance of a humanoid creature appeared. It had clearly tried to imitate a human’s face, but due to its incompetence, the end result proved to be quite hideous.

"When did aliens beco so daring that they hide in plain sight?" The woman mused, a smile spreading on her face.

Just now did the alien realize its cover had been blown. With no hesitation it tried to end its own life, but the woman didn’t allow it to.

"Not so fast; before you die, you will tell everything you know."

Since the alien was smart enough to hide and observe the humans fight from afar, it had intel that made it worth keeping alive... At least for now.

"My work was to observe and report. Simple as that." The alien spoke coldly, not elaborating further.

"I wonder if you will keep your mouth closed when I am done with you?" She giggled, starting her interrogation process.

For the next several hours the sound of grueso screams echoed in the vicinity. Having anticipated this, the woman put on a sound barrier.

"Don’t worry. No one will bother us... We have all the ti in the world."

Back at the arena, Michael noticed a figure disappearing from his line of sight faster than a heartbeat.

’Did I imagine it?’ He wondered. For a person to move so fast that he wasn’t able to see them with the help of Perfect Vision would an that they were at the very least of the Grandmaster realm.

"Must have been my imagination." He mumbled, seeing that Isaac didn’t show any kind of reaction. The chances of soone going past a Grandmaster’s senses unnoticed were near zero.

The duels kept going, and the number of Masters continued to thin. Eventually Victoria’s turn had co again. This ti she was fighting against Chloe.

"We et again, little girl." Chloe taunted, trying to get a reaction out of Victoria.

"Let’s see if you can talk so arrogantly now that Isaac can’t help his mistress." Victoria retorted.

"You bitch!" Chloe felt her blood boil.

"Oliver will surely not mind if I rough up your face a little!"

Boom!

Unlike the battle with Austin, Chloe proved to be more of a challenge. Rather than going all out from the very beginning, she fought carefully, getting to know Victoria’s true abilities.

’How is this possible?’

To her dismay, Victoria proved to be a much more troubleso opponent than expected.

Zzzp!

Just when Chloe thought she had a chance, Victoria used her Overload technique, catching her by surprise and cooking her from the inside.

"Preposterous!" Chloe bellowed, appearing outside of the ring.

"I lost against a little girl?!" Her face flared red from rage.

"You should have taken the fight more seriously." Austin didn’t miss the chance to throw so salt in the wound.

"Shut the fuck up!"

Isaac shook his head.

"Rember whose blood Victoria carries. Beating her will not be that easy." He said, calming both of them down. After all, she was so sure of her abilities that she was willing to stare down a Grandmaster as himself without a trace of fear in her gaze.

The finals neared; Victoria soon t her match. Her opponent was an old man that was in the Peak Master realm, close to becoming a Grandmaster. That, coupled with his experience, ant he was able to beat her even if it had been a close fight.

"Sorry, Cute Junior. It appears that I won’t be able to get you the Epic cybernetic." Victoria apologized; with the mountain of expectations placed on her, she always strove to be the very best.

When monts like this ca, where she wasn’t able to et her standard, she was often devastated, even if she was able to hide it very well.

"What are you saying? You held on against a Peak Master for so long! That is a win in my book!" Ava proclaid with a pouted face.

"But—"

"No buts!" Ava insisted, placing a finger over her lips. "You did great! Even beating Austin and Chloe. This is a feat few could boast about!"

Seeing that Ava wasn’t going to change her mind, Victoria sighed.

"Okay, I will stop thinking so negatively." She gave in.

"That’s more like it!" Ava bead before hugging her out of nowhere. After learning more about her past and family, she began to grow more fond of her.

Soon after the competition ended, the old man, Harrison, who had managed to beat Victoria, got first place among the Masters, earning the Epic cybernetic.

"Great work, all of us gained sothing today. It’s ti to go back." Michael said, glancing at the mbers of his faction.

Back to the mysterious woman, she stood above the tortured alien that had now been reduced to nothing more than a pile of guts.

"They are planning to increase their efforts on conquering Neptune?" She mused, sweeping her hair to the side.

"It appears that I was worried for nothing. Nevertheless, it will be better if I inform the King about this."

Faster than a heartbeat, she blinked out of existence, the only trace of her being there was the unrecognizable alien’s remains.
