Morning After the Storm

The rain had ceased, but the sky retained a shawl of dense grey clouds that floated indolently above Willow Town like half-asleep giants not willing to leave. The morning light was subdued, filtered through the dense veil above, bathing the cobbled streets in a pale glow. Puddles glimred in the hollows between stones, rippling occasionally as drops fell from projecting eaves and the shivering leaves of the towering elms shading the walkways.

Now and then, water trickled across the pitched roofs of the town’s wood-frad houses, running down in glistening, steady drips into side alleys and drains. The sll of damp soil and wood smoke clung to the air, cool and crisp. Though much of the town still slumbered, a few early risers moved like ghosts through the mist—rchants lifting shutters, bakers carrying trays of fresh loaves, and guards in soaked cloaks patrolling in silence. The air held a chill that clung to the skin, the kind that made one crave another hour in bed.

In the peaceful center of the principal market square, a three-story stone and wood building stood tall. Its front was freshly washed clean by the tempest, its windows sparkling with the last adhering drops. Over the arched door, in cursive letters carved and set into gold, the na of the business was inscribed with refinent: The Rose Palace.

On the top floor, behind a thick velvet curtain, in a sumptuous suite of silken drapes, soft carpets, and softly blazing lanterns, the remnant aroma of passion still filled the air. A light combination of musk, sweat, and sweet oils clung to the linens and the soft pillows tossed about the great bed. The room was quiet, heavy with the heat of extinguished desire.

Under a knotted pile of intricately embroidered blankets, three body lay snuggled in deep sleep. Leon, the gray-haired duke of Silver City, slept in the middle, naked from the waist up, his muscular arm wrapped around two equally naked bodies—Syra to one side and Kyra to the other. Their gentle breathing blended in the quiet, and on each of their faces shone the tranquility of a dream far too lovely to be forgotten.

The quiet hung on... until it was shattered.

Knock. Knock.

Soft but firm knocks resounded in the room.

No one stirred initially.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

A buzz wove its way through the air. Kyra turned slightly. Leon scrunched up his eyes. And gradually, their eyes started fluttering open—Kyra’s first, Syra’s next, and Leon’s last, all fild with the haze of sleep.

Syra blinked, her eyes rubbing away at the back of her hand, and she sat up. Her blanket was pushed down onto her skin, exposing her soft, plump bounce of breasts. Her nipple remains hard in the cold. "Tousles" waves. Her green hair fell over her shoulders in a tousle of waves as she groggily murmured, "Who’s... knocking this early.....

Kyra stirred beside her, clutching the blanket to her chest with a sleepy pout. "I. don’t know," she yawned, her voice soft, still clinging to the edges of sleep.

Leon stretched, his back cracking faintly as he pushed himself upright with a tired groan. "Both of you, wait here. I’ll check..."

Still totally naked, he kicked his legs off the bed, standing upright and shaless in the cold air. The blanket unrolled itself, showing his bare toned body in all its glory. His back was dotted by faint love bites, his skin kissed by warmth and shadow. Both Syra and Kyra flushed—sleepiness vanishing like mist under the sun—but Leon, unconscious about both cute rection, padded toward the door as another round of knocking sounded.

Knock. Knock!

"I’m coming!" Leon called groggily.

He reached the door and opened it with a lazy pull—only to find two familiar, radiant faces waiting outside.

Aria wore a purple satin nightgown; her purple hair, long, pulled into a loose braid over one shoulder. Next to her, in the sheen of a midnight-black gown, stood Cynthia, her jet-black hair loose, like a waterfall, down her back. Both appeared beautiful in the low light, their faces alternating between surprise and laughter at the vision before them.

Leon blinked, then smiled. "Ah, at last. My other wives finally joined ," he joked, as he spread his arms wide with a wide, inviting smile.

For a brief instant, Aria and Cynthia stood there, glued to his fully naked body. but their gaze did not land on his bare chest, but it strayed from his chest down to between his thigh, where hi half harden arousal.

For an instant, nobody said anything.

Then— Aria arched one brow, lips curving. "Looks like we crashed a party, huh, darling?"

Cynthia flushed, looking over his physique before slipping into his arms. "Seems like sister Aria was correct. You. had yourself quite a ti last night."

"No doubt," Aria chid in with a humming amusent.

Leon laughed, hooking an arm around each of their waists. "Looks like soone’s in a teasing mood this morning," he stated, with a mischievous grin, he gave both their soft ass a light spank.

Smack. Smack.

"Ahn~"

"Mm!"

Cynthia rubbed her hips with a pout. "Husband! Why are you spanking us? We’re just stating facts..."

Aria joined her. "Yes! You always tease us. Let us have so fun too. Spanking is unfair, darling."

Leon chuckled at their grumbling. "Okay, okay. I give in. But let’s not be out here for too long. If I am seen wandering around naked in the corridor with two stunners on my arms. my war-hero status will be ruined forever."

The two burst into laughter as he ushered them in. With a wave of his hand, the door closed softly behind them.

As they reached the bed, they discovered Syra already propped up in her nightgown, her green hair tied back, a wicked grin dancing on her lips. Kyra, being shyer, sat next to her, also dressed, but concealing her blush behind a hank of hair.

Both sister dressed nightgown when both heard voice from outside and she know who is on door.

"Morning, Sister Aria. Sister Cynthia," Syra greeted cheerfully.

"Good morning, Syra," the two won replied as one, both remarking on how Syra appeared to emanate a womanly glow—subtle, womanly, and imnsely contented.

Their gazes then wandered to Kyra, who was fussing over the hem of her gown, face flushed.

Aria smiled in a knowing fashion. "Syra, you look like you had a good night?"

Syra glowed. "I had a great ti. A lot and a lot."

Aria smiled. Cynthia shook her head softly, smiling, and turned to Kyra. "And you, Kyra?"

Kyra t her gaze, her voice trembling slightly with a hint of stamr, "I. I too... liked it, Sister Aria."

Cynthia’s smile widened. "See how you... speak so clearly now. You’ve developed, little sister."

"Yes," agreed Aria, her eyes soft.

Kyra flushed even more, cowering slightly under flattery.

Syra, ever saucy, chid in, "But it’s nothing to last night when darling thr—"

"Syra!" Kyra leaped forward, covering her sister’s mouth. "Don’t you dare!"

The room erupted into laughter.

Leon, observing from the sidelines, smiled fondly. This was harmony. This was happiness. A man desires.

Then he glanced at Aria. "So, my dear, what brings you here so early? Not just to tease , I hope?"

Aria smiled and leaned in. "No, darling. I woke you up. The rain has ceased, the guards are nearly getting the caravan ready, and we have to depart for the capital sooner rather than later."

Leon rubbed his neck. "Ah. Sorry. I lost track of ti. Or perhaps I simply beca lost in the warmth of my new wives...

He shot a mock-teasing look at the twins, who blushed again. Then his eyes moved to Aria and Cynthia. "By the way, based on your wardrobe. you two haven’t bathed yet either, right?"

Both won shook their heads.

Leon’s grin broadened. "Perfect! Let’s all bathe together!"

The won looked at each other.

"No," said Aria mock-authoritatively. "We are not bathing together."

"Huh?" Leon blinked.

Aria prodded his chest. "Because then none of us will be done before noon."

Cynthia agreed. "She’s right."

"But—"

"No buts," Aria stopped him. "Go and bathe separately. We’ll see you downstairs."

Leon huffed theatrically, "Fine... but if the twins want to accompany —"

This ti Kyra cut in; voice soft but adamant. "No... Sister Aria is correct. We should not tarry on the journey."

Everyone looked at her. The sa Kyra who had struggled to make a sentence yesterday had spoken so confidently.

Leon blinked. "What?"

Kyra recoiled. "D-Did I say sothing wrong?"

Leon grinned and shook his head. "No. Just... surprised at how different you are after one night."

The others nodded in concurrence.

Syra got up and pecked his cheek. "We’re bathing separately. Now get going, darling."

Leon pouted. "Syra, even you?"

"Yes, darling." She laughed.

"Why?" he begged. "Co with . I’ll shower you with love..."

She grinned. "Tempting. but I decline your invitation."

Leon blinked. "What?"

The won laughed at his shocked face.

"Go, go," Aria said, dismissing him.

One by one, the won departed the room, leaving Leon alone.

He let out a sigh, smiling weakly. "My won are getting braver..."

He laughed, then walked in the direction of the bathroom. "But that’s what I adore about them."

The bathroom was not opulent but warm, with walls of clean stone and gentle lantern glow. A small bathtub was already full, steam curling from scented water filled with oils and flower petals.

Leon entered, breathing deeply as the hot water wrapped around his cold skin.

"This... this is heaven..."

As he settled back to relax, a reminder occurred. He had yet to collect his reward from the day before.

"System," he spoke ntally.

With a soft ding~, a translucent blue screen appeared before him, its letters glowing softly.
