Whispers Beneath the Moonlight
As the final docunt was signed and the last seal pressed, Leon leaned back in his chair, exhaling deeply. The sky outside had already dimd into shades of indigo, with the soft glow of moonlight spilling through the tall windows of his study.
"This is... exhausting," he muttered in his mind rotating his shoulders to ease the tension.
He stood up, stretching his long fra, and turned toward Aria, who had been standing silently behind him like a proper attendant—but even in her stillness, she radiated quiet warmth.
Without warning, Leon stepped forward and gently pulled her into his arms.
She gasped, eyes widening as her cheek brushed against his chest. "M-My Lord?"
Leon smiled, a flicker of amusent and sothing deeper dancing in his golden eyes. "Now that the day's work is done... I believe we were interrupted earlier in afternoon."
A soft, startled breath escaped her lips. Her cheeks, usually so composed, flushed a delicate pink as she placed a hesitant hand against his chest. "You should rest, my Lord... You must be tired."
Leon lowered his head slightly, his breath brushing the shell of her ear. "I am tired. If you don't believe , perhaps I should show you just how much energy I have."
She stared into his gaze, and for a heartbeat, the stoic mask she always wore cracked.
Before Leon could speak again, she pressed her lips against his.
It was quick—just a kiss, tentative but full of emotion. Her lips were warm and trembling, her body taut in his arms. He surprised, startled not by the kiss itself, but by the fact that she initiated it.
Aria pulled away almost instantly, her face now a glowing shade of crimson.
"I—I have duties to attend to as a head maid, my Lord," she stamred, voice tight and rushed. "Please excuse !"
And with that, she turned and rushed out the door like a startled rabbit.
Leon stood there, stunned. She her running like rabbit. Then he chuckled under his breath, golden eyes gleaming with delight. "You tricky little maid... you ran away. But if not today—then tomorrow, I'll catch you for good the, pin you down my body and make you mine."
He looked up at the moonlight filtering through the windows, his mood lifted despite the day's toil. Then his thoughts drifted.
Rias. That crimson-haired beauty... his daughter who have daddy complex. How he thinks her ... perhaps she waited for in my room.
With his heart pounding—not from lust alone, but from anticipation and curiosity—Leon exited his study and walked through the dim halls of the mansion, each step echoing in the silence.
He reached his chambers and opened the door.
And froze.
His breath hitched.
Candlelight danced over the room, casting golden shadows across the floor. On the bed, covered only by a thin sheet, lay Rias—her crimson hair cascading around her like molten silk. Her delicate hands covered her chest and womanhood, but it was more of a tease than protection. Her red eyes t his, glowing with a mix of defiance, desire, and sothing even more dangerous—acceptance.
"Daddy..." she whispered.
Leon's heart thundered.
But he didn't move. Not yet.
