Another loud explosion sounded.

Just then, Murong Chuan appeared beside him, bowing slightly. “Honored guest, leave this person to . I will sever his head within half an hour.”
Gu Han nodded. “Good. I’ll go for Jiang Ping.”
Commander Zhou clenched his fists. “Manager Murong, why are you doing this?! He’s just so kid with no background or connections! Why would you go this far for him?!”
He understood perfectly that he was only at third-stage Soaring Realm, whereas Murong Chuan was at seventh-stage. Even in peak condition he couldn’t rival Murong Chuan, much less now, wounded.
Murong Chuan glanced at him. “The Murong family doesn’t owe you any explanation. If the honored guest wants your life, then you must hand it over.”
He sent a palm strike towards Commander Zhou, forcing him back instantly.
Gu Han paused. “Fatty, you can still back out now.”
Fatty’s face was flushed red. “Bullshit! I might have thick skin, but I wouldn’t do sothing so low-class! Today, regardless of life or death, let’s do it first!”
Gu Han nodded. “Good! I acknowledge you as a friend.”
Having said that, he raised his sword and strode into the imperial palace. Hundreds of imperial guards advanced forward, surrounding him.
Gu Han said calmly, “Step aside or die.”
A captain stepped forward with a cold expression. “Treacherous rebels! Show no rcy!”
Countless cold, gleaming crossbow bolts shot towards Gu Han in a volley.
Fatty sneered, flashing in front of Gu Han. “What petty tricks!”
Golden light blazed around him, instantly enveloping them both.
The originally sharp bolts, capable of piercing even low-tier ferocious beasts, were helpless against that thin layer of golden light.
“Fatty, move aside a bit,” said Gu Han.
He swung his sword fiercely, releasing twelve strands of Great Evolution Sword Qi all at once.
With each subtle noise, several lives were lost. Monts later, less than a third of the hundreds of imperial guards remained. They were terrified by Gu Han’s killing spree, not daring to approach any further.
The captain was still shouting, “Quick! Go kill him—”

Instantly, a sinister, cold aura pressed forward. His cultivation level was actually at the Divine Connection realm. Gu Han frowned slightly, slowly raising his sword, locking a thread of killing intent firmly onto the old man.

Jiang Ping forced himself to maintain his calm. “Who are you?!”
“Gu Han!”
Jiang Ping gnashed his teeth. “Gu Han? Y-you are that Gu Han?”
Gu Han ignored his question, slowly raising his sword. “Do you know Chief Steward Li? He said he really wanted to kill you. It’s a pity that he failed, so I’ve decided to kill you for him.”
