The Jade-faced Judge originally thought everything was under control, but he hadn't expected such a shocking turn of events. His expression changed instantly.

In contrast, the Second Elder was overjoyed. At this ti, no matter who ca from outside, even if they were from Lingxiao Pavilion and the Ends of the Earth, it was good news for him.

In any case, if he stayed here, he would still die at the hands of the Jade-faced Judge. It could be said that the Jade-faced Judge was the public enemy of the Human Clan.

Under such circumstances, even if the Pavilion Master of Lingxiao and the Sect Leader Qi rushed over, they would first deal with the Jade-faced Judge rather than hasten to kill the Second Elder. As such, the Second Elder might even have a chance to escape!

"Sobody help, save …" The Second Elder imdiately started shouting outside: "The Jade-faced Judge is not human..."

Before he could finish, his voice stopped abruptly. The Jade-faced Judge was already by his side, directly beheading him and capturing his soul.

"I didn't want to kill you so early, but now it seems you can't be allowed to live!" the Jade-faced Judge said coldly, then crushed the Second Elder's soul as well.

How pitiful for this Second Elder, soone who was sowhat of a figurehead, having connected the four major sects, backed by the Heavenly Court, thinking he could achieve sothing great. Little did he expect to et such an end, tragically killed by the Jade-faced Judge!

anwhile, the chaos outside was growing more intense, and the Jade-faced Judge could even hear the screams of so of his trusted aides from outside.

He didn't know what exactly was happening outside, but listening to those screams, it was clear they mostly ca from his side. Without a doubt, the situation outside was entirely detrintal to him.

He looked at the bead inside the room; its glow was bright. However, the Jade-faced Judge was well aware that the power absorbed by the bead was still far from being able to break these seals. But could his n outside hold on for that long?

The Jade-faced Judge was not truly worried about his n; what deeply concerned him was Ge Kaiyang, his own son!

So, ultimately, the Jade-faced Judge bit his lip, grabbed the bead, and charged out from this underground secret chamber.

Outside, the Jade-faced Judge saw nurous bodies scattered on the ground. His subordinates were still desperately circling around two people, using their lives to buy ti for him.

"Stop them! Stop them!" Ge Kaiyang roared angrily: "Don't let them get through, stop them all!"

The Three-eyed Ghost King and the Heart-digging Ghost King personally led the charge against these two individuals. However, their side was retreating step by step, for the strength of these two people was simply too formidable.

The Jade-faced Judge frowned, looking closely to identify the two people in the crowd, and his face instantly changed.

One was young, with a handso appearance. The other was older, dressed in ragged monk's robes, with a bald head—clearly a monk.

The most crucial thing was that the Jade-faced Judge knew both of these people.

The young one was Qi Zhishan, and the monk in the tattered robes was his old enemy of two or three hundred years, Mahakaya!

The Jade-faced Judge simply couldn't understand why this was happening. Hadn't he already tricked Qi Zhishan away? Why had he returned here?

And as for Mahakaya, ever since the Buddha Palace was destroyed, Mahakaya had disappeared. There hadn't been a single piece of news about him for such a long ti, so why had he suddenly appeared today?

Moreover, he appeared together with Qi Zhishan, which simply made the Jade-faced Judge want to spit out blood.

This night was such an important mont for him. He had made full preparations, even diverting all possible enemies away, all to fulfill his plan.

Yet, he never imagined that these two would show up and disrupt his plans. And the most troubleso thing was that, on his own, he wasn't their match!

However, given the situation, he could no longer continue with his previous agenda. He took a deep breath, rushed into the battlefield, and shouted, "Stop it, all of you!"

His n saw the Jade-faced Judge appear and imdiately ceased their actions and retreated.

Qi Zhishan and Mahakaya also stopped. Qi Zhishan looked the Jade-faced Judge up and down and said with a faint smile, "Old Ge, you're really good at deception. You had soone send false information to lead to the Northwest, while you ca to the Capital City to sche. If I hadn't crossed paths with the master, I might still be wandering around the Northwest looking for you!"

The Jade-faced Judge finally understood how Qi Zhishan managed to get here, and he couldn't help but cast an angry glance at Mahakaya, though there was nothing he could do about it.

Mahakaya had been his foe for so many years, and although he didn't know his identity, he was very familiar with his style. That Mahakaya could track him and guess his deceit towards Qi Zhishan wasn't surprising.

However, he simply couldn't comprehend how these two managed to appear together by coincidence.

If Mahakaya hadn't been involved, Qi Zhishan would still be wandering around the Northwest. Even if Mahakaya did make it to the Capital City, he couldn't stop the Jade-faced Judge on his own.

But now, with Qi Zhishan in the mix, everything was completely different!

Grinding his teeth, the Jade-faced Judge said in a deep voice, "Qi Zhishan, I have no enmity with you. What does it an for you to co here today and kill so many of my people?"

"No enmity, huh?" Qi Zhishan sneered, "Old Ghost, have you forgotten what your people did back then? What your grandson did back then, and how you covered it up for him? Didn't I tell you that I would co and kill them myself one day?"

"Qi Zhishan, you're considered a prominent master, yet you're bickering over such trivial matters. Aren't you afraid of losing face if word gets out?" the Jade-faced Judge said in a deep voice. "The young don't know better, yet you plan to take his life? Is that behavior appropriate for soone of your stature?"

"What do you an the young don't know better?" Qi Zhishan said coldly. "You speak as if I'm very old. Don't forget, I've severed those seventeen years. Without those seventeen years, I'm just in my twenties. Why shouldn't I hold a grudge with him? For the things he did, why should I forgive him? Unless, I kill him first and then you can tell whether you'll hold a grudge against , how about that?"

After the last incident, Qi Zhishan's entire deanor and personality had changed significantly. Not only had his aggressiveness increased, but he was also more ticulous than before. At least, he wouldn't be fooled by a few words from the Jade-faced Judge into easily burying the hatchet.
